Freecycle Recenzje 

Hadn’t used freecycle for a while and I’ve only ever used it to give stuff away.
Why have they changed the way it’s used? We used to reply direct to emails from people wanting our giveaways, which was easy and straightforward. Now you have to do it via the website and I’ve got so confused! You have to keep a note of what you’ve offered to whom and what you’ve said to whom or you end up promising things to more than one person.
Very difficult to use now and I don’t think I’ll use it again.

After being rather sceptical about ordering a sofa for my daughter from this company, i would like to say, Free Cycle went over and beyond in reassurance and delivered an exceptional performance. From communication to the actual delivery. The sofa was perfect, delivery men were great and could not do enough to help. My daughter was very happy with the outcome. Thank you Free Cycle and i shall recommend you to friends and family. Kind regards Caroline

I'm going to agree with the last review on here regarding time-wasters. We are having a big clear out and have listed an item with provisionally more to follow. 2 people have requested it to the extent they have given us their number, and yet both have ignored all attempts to contact. So now all our stuff will go to the dump. Such a shame but we don't have time to be messed around, with a young family. It is a great idea and it is obviously not the site's fault regards some of the cretins that use it. A rating system is clearly required though so you can identify the time-wasters so you don't end up wasting your own time.

Great little site, lots of friendly and helpful people. Would highly recommend!

Freecycle is a brilliant idea. It is a shame there are so many time wasters and dealers on the site though. I've lost count of the amount of people who seem really interested in an item and don't turn up when a collection is arranged. Freecycle should have a star system for their members, like ebay.

Used it to give away an excellent, clean Coffee Filter Machine. But was hit with so many TIME WASTERS I closed my account and would never use anything like recycle or it’s like ever again.
People are just soo sad, really sad.

The concept is sound and overall the experience is good. The only problem is the time it takes for approval by the mods. The most annoying thing is having to wait all over again when editing the listing. The ability to post to multiple towns would be a massive advantage. The website design definitely needs dragging into the 21st century. Other than this I'd use it again.

tried to offer a built in oven and hob Scarborough area nearly new clean . worth having and barely used. Moderators sent me a long list of reasons without any specific "violation" that I could change. Can only assume the moderators here are either stupid or having a bad day. Wont use freecycle again...

I really don’t understand many of the negative statements as the vast majority relate to bad behaviour by members. Bad behaviour happens in all areas of life and can’t always be controlled.
It is not a commercial profit making company, and as membership is free to all how are the owners supposed to control bad behaviour. If you have an issue report it to your local moderator, who is acting unpaid, if you have an issue with them report them to the company.
Yes I am a moderator but have no particular allegiance to them, personally I respond to issues within a few hours, I also have a life to lead and I’m not paid.
If you act properly others tend to also behave properly.

I have used Freecycle many times to save having to take stuff I don't need to the dump. And it's great that other people are finding life in things I no longer need - everybody wins! What a great service this is.

I absolutely love the idea of recycling the items in my house I no longer want. I've been able to give away numerous items to people who really needed them, so it's a feel good process. I'm also glad Freecycle updated their website to reflect current times. It would be nice to have an app.

too hard to post to the Cardiff site, they moderators keep rejecting my posts for being duplicates when they are edits of live posts. Really useless volunteers who just want to make it impossible to post!! WHY!. I am surprised anyone gets a post of my local site, but as I only see 1 or 2 a day others must be having the same problems, am looking for a better alternative

A terrible interface that is awful to use. Not at all intuitive and very cluttered. The buttons you need in order to navigate are small to the point of being invisible. I joined a few days ago and am just about to leave, shame as its aims are good. But the execution is among the worst I have seen.

Hi I have been trying to to reset password.i have used the reset password link that then tells me an email has be sent to my email. I have check my spam and no email i have try this reset over the last couple of days but no email. Please can you tell me how i can rest my password.

Messaging is painfully slow. I have waited days to get a response from someone who wants to pick an item up. Relying on freecycle just sullies the good reputation of the recycling movement.

Again - as a long time 'offerer' on freecycle, the new website looks to leech funds from every transaction. Not a community service.

Freecycle is the typical "curate's egg", good and bad. I have managed to clear numerous items over the years that would have otherwise gone to landfill, but recently my local site seems to have declined. Not sure why. Just not getting interest in items, but when I switch them to Gumtree/free they go in a flash. I have noticed flakey search results in search for items also recently. [cant find my own posted item by name for instance]

Tried to donate. Took forever to get approved, I asked a moderator and they said it's volunteer work. He said he couldn't be bothered and to go drop it off at goodwill.
