Ordered an item from them expecting delivery within the 3-5 days stated. 3 weeks later I had still not had a confirmation of dispatch email. I had to send them over 20 emails over a two week period before they responded and the response was to say they would be refunding me my money and with no reason as to why they were not sending the item ordered. And I have still not had the promised refund a week after they sent the email (the only email they actually ever sent!). Diabo;ical service.

The service was excellent from start to finish. Plenty of emails telling me the stages of buying and dispatch and when to expect delivery. Buying to delivery was a very painless and quick procedure. Thank you.

Suffered the same experience as many other reviewers. Visited the unit on 10/12/09 to buy a camcorder which was advertised as 'in stock' on the website. Told that there would be a delivery in four days and ordered and paid up front as I was assured of an early pre-Xmas delivery. Despite phone calls, emails, fax etc goods were never sent and to date my credit card has not been refunded, and have had to task Visa with recovery. This company is completely dishonest and should be investigated by Trading Standards.

Even when I had to return an item because it was not quite right for the job I wanted it for the refund was prompt and without difficulty. Most companies are good when it comes to taking your money but you can tell a good company by the way it deals with refunds or problems. Fotosense have been a total pleasure to del with.

Threy advertise items as being in stock when they are not. They debited my credit card account even though they knew that they were unable to supply the goods ordered. Despite numerous attempts to get a response from them, they have not replied. I have now to notify my credit card company of a pssible fraud and inform trading standards of my experiences with this business

I am not going to waste anymore time on this cowboy company, they sent me the wrong item, I had to go to my bank twice to sort it out and then I had to pay post/packing costs to return the item, I could not make contact with them on the phone as they are never there.

Not one person apologised for all the inconvenience they caused me.

They advertise Items in stock when they know damn well they cannot get that item for you.

WARNING! Don't buy anything from these back street cowboys because they are a right shower.

You have lost a customer NoSense and I will spread the word about how you run your so called company.

I have purchased a number of items previously without any problem.
On this ocasion I ordered an Ansmann battery charger at approx 13.00hrs on Friday 22nd Jan 2010, the item arrived at 11.00 on Saturday 23rd, well done.

the product i order was delivered within 2 days and i choose the 3-5 day option so big thanks for that.

the price of the item was also the best on the web i spent 2 weeks searching but kept coming back to fotosense

Ordered a new camera from fotosense, item was showing in stock on website, however after calling to find out delivery date, I was told that the item was actually out of stock and would not be in stock for two weeks.
A few days later I received an email, informing me that stock would be available within at the start of the following week. The camera arrived on the date specified within the email.

I appreciated being kept informed of the delivery date and would use this company again. The prices are very competitive and website easy to use.

They do not answer emails, or the telephone, money is gone from my account for almost a month, but no delivery yet.This is a company of liars and charlatans.

Ordered items on 21st December, got confirmation email that goods were dispatched on same day. On 11th January I contacted the company by email still awaiting reply (we will reply to emails within 24 hours! Ha!)

Rang numerous times, couldn't get through. Finally got to speak to someone, who took details and called me back to explain that goods were dispatched on December 21st, and were with the courier, but they were unable to deliver as my address didn't exist!

I contacted the courier, no goods ever recieved.

Today 14th Jan, I get an email to say goods were dispatched today.

(Happy christmas darling sorry its a month late!!).

I would never order from this company again, nor would I advise anyone else to. They are quick to take your money, but awful on delivery, no customer care, and very poor on telling the truth.

I paid for next day delivery on a Lumix TZ7 - 6 days later and at least a dozen emails later and I have not received the camera and had to chase them before they let me know that there was a delay. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

Admittedly, I left my camera order late, but was advised that it was in stock and in time for Christmas delivery. My account was debited immediately and then nothing. An email chase for my tracking number got a "will advise" response after one week. It was impossible to contact them by phone, with call termination a frequent occurrence. When I did get through, the less than convincing sales person confirmed my item was in stock for immediate delivery!! I requested immediate email confirmation of this with a tracking number - as this didn't arrive, I attempted to contact them again to cancel my order. Only a stream of repetitive emails via their contact form got the minimum of responses from them. Despite the fact that they had my money for 3 weeks, it is the complete lack of any communication, even the courtesy of a small apology that has made this company my worst on-line experience to date.

i've tried contacting the company to see where my goods are and have had absolutely no response.

i'm going through the banks to get the money back and will pay a litle more to get the goods i need.

Kept telling me that product was in stock (even when I phoned). Turned out it wasn't - I think they only order something in when you order from them so that they can keep costs down. If you need something in a hurry DON'T order from this company!!! They promised to refund me over a week ago and am still waiting. They told me that the refund would be on my account in 3 working days. I will not be using them again and am happy to pay more for better service.

First - yes, they never answer any emails.

Second - They sell bundles (2 items together), which are mores expensive then the individual prices of both products. How strange is that. Yes, check back! Normaly you just buy the bundley because it obviously should be cheaper....

I guess if there is no problem, then the shop is great. But which one isn't?

Just received a Lumix G1 camera from fotosense. The model I ordered was out of stock and the informed me immediately giving me a realistic despatch date which the improved upon by several days.
A good buying experience.

After 16 days I'm still waiting for my card to be refunded for goods that I cancelled. Was told item was on the way when they didn't even have it in stock despite being told over the phone that it was in stock. My next call will be to Trading Standards!

I had no clue of what to get was and guided through to a simple camera that I really like! I even got one of the bundle deals as I found it really good value compared to other sites. Received on time and in excellent condition.

I purchased a lighting kit from fotosense in july, being new to lighting equipment i wanted some advice before i made my purchase
I spoke to a very helpful member of staff that talked me through the various lighting kits and gave me sound advice as to which would
be the best for my photography. I was very impressed by the fotosense website..and i found it very easy to place my order online after
obtaining advise from there customer service team. I selected the standard delivery option and was well impressed when the delivery turned
up within 3 days. Excellent all round service and amazing value for money. Would use again for all my other photographic equipment.

I have used Fotosense on many occasions and have always received first class service. I found the website easy to navigate and to order from. The sales staff are always very helpful and have given me trusted product advise over the years.

When i place my order the product was in stock. I chose the free delivery option and didn't expect delivery for 4/5 days. I received an email straight away with my order confirmation and a couple of hours later received confirmation my order was dispatched. I received it within 2 days!! goods were received in perfect condition. It was a pleasure doing business with them again.

In summary i would definitely use this company again and would recommend to anyone looking for photographic equipment to check out there website. They are the best independent retailer i've come across offering a personal,friendly and efficient service.. big thumbs up fotosense !!!
