Don’t ever buy a car from Ford !! Bought a 2014 ford focus from dealership yallah NSW . Told what a great car it was . Bought December 2018 . Nothing but problems . Transmission control gone twice in it ( charging me a diagnosis fee this time )Waited over 6 m to be fixed first time as couldn’t get part . Got back in May 2022. Now has gone again and clutch had it also .. Want me to pay $5700 to be pulled apart and looked at . . I’m a single mum and they haven’t done nothing to help me at all. They’re rude and arrogant and treat their customers like rubbish . Would never buy a. Car from ford again . Had my car for 4 years bought from dealership and no help whatsoever. DISGUSTING

Engine Light kept coming on from new.
Dealers could never fix it. 5000 dollars in repair attempt bills including 2 X new PCM modules. Ford Dealers could not fix it "dont know the car, its not the popular version"

Every service invoice showed that the light came on they did nothing but charge me but never fixed it. All that they did was clear the P2227 code, which i could have got cleared for 50 dollars without their rip off charges.

Contacted the dealer trying to get a refund through Ford customer care. They did not help, the dealer Manager said and agreed that I bought a Lemon but agreed that there was nothing that he or Ford could do, despite them ruining my car and effectively writing it off.

Just imagine having a 1500 dollar to a 2000 dollar repair bill every time you take a car in for service!!! Horrible company, Horrible products. They pretend to care but at the end of the day all that they care about is their profits and dont like caring about anyone who gets one of their Lemon Ford Focus cars. My whole family used to be Ford fans now I tell everyone in my family never to go near Ford cars especially the Focus models they are lemon model cars.

The Ford PCM electronic system is the same in the current models. Ford Australia dont stand behind their products and wont help when its costs you thousands of dollars in repairs despite these Focus models having numerous recall problems in Australia.

Ford Australia a big fat ZERO in ethics, business practices and their poorly trained dealership network that have backyard mechanics that cant fix their products.

The "Experts" at Ford could not even fix their own product thats how bad Ford Australia are. Moral of the story is dont go near any Lemon car especially Ford ones, they wont help you! Unfortunately we dont have lemon laws like the USA. When you check the USA Ford dealer repair database for the repair cost for this error P2227 Barometric sensor module its 300 US dollars and most Ford dealers in the USA. Not so in Australia, they have no clues on how to diagnose their own cars and fix it. I took my PCM module to PCM repair centre and they found " faults" So i got charged for a problem that was not fix and all that they did was clear the fault code. Talk about a nice rip off. The car is in service now and guess what the dealer wants to charge me for a new PCM that was replaced in another rip off scam when they charged me for a new PCM module. It seems Ford likes their dealers to charge customers huge bills and replace parts for problems thats theirs and that they cant fix.

Dont make the mistake that I did by buying either a new or second Ford focus with then known Ford issues. If anyone has taken action or had better results using consumer affairs or a legal avenue please contact me.

SELLICK

WAS ON MY WAY TO SEE THE SELLICK PLAY AND THEN MY UNCLES FUNERAL N THEN A GROUP OF HEARTS FAN JUMPED ME. THE MAIN BIY WUS CULLED SCOTT MCLAREN AND ONE OF HIS BOYS BOTTLED ME WITH AN EMERGE BOTTLE. LUCKY I KEEP A BATON IN MY CAR SO THEY ALL RAN, HA HA A GOT THEIR DRUM

Awful Experience

I would not recommend this dealership for sales or service to anyone. I took my Ford Expedition in for a regular routine oil change and tire rotation. I have bought cars and service cars here for years. Then all their service people left and they had hired all new service and body shop people including a new service manager. The service technician who helped me was Danielle. During the tire rotation, they bumped my car door with the lift that holds the car up in the air to change the tires. They came and were honest and told me what they did, and that they would repair the door. The inexperience came from the body shop. Instead of repairing the door on the car, they took the door completely off. There are so many wires that lead into the main brain of the car that lead into the dash so you're never to remove the door to repair it. As soon as I got my car back, it was immediately shutting off whenever I drove it. They knew it was not doing that until they took the door off. My expedition was in perfect condition. I repeatedly kept bringing it back to the dealership for them to get the missing wire or whatever they did wrong corrected when they removed the car door. When they realized they couldn't figure out what the body shop had done, they kept saying the sensor was bad or any excuse they could use to make me pay for the repair. Including replacing my entire dash. I took my vehicle back in so many times, I finally got fed up of it and whenever my car shut off and I almost had a head on collision on Sharon Lane, I was immediately fed up with it and traded it for a brand new Toyota. People beware of this dealership, their body shop, and their service department. I hope that I can save someone else from making the same mistake and dealing with this dealership.

Do Not Honour Warranty - Nil Customer Service

People don't seem to realise, it's the company (not the car), that I wrote the original review about.
I have bought another car since my last review.
However, it wasn't a Ford.
I stand by my decision to never buy another Ford due to the disgusting 'no care' attitude of the entire Ford company. Specifically the Albany WA, Melville WA and most importantly, the Head Office.
To make matters worse, I'm aware of an acquaintance who has had a similar experience to mine. This is what prompted me to write this review update. It seems nothing has changed for the better. The total lack of customer consideration and service seems inherent in all aspects of the Ford company.

I owned (under warranty) a Ford Falcon Wagon. My family embarked on a 400km trip to a country town. Half way there, the car developed a major problem. Apparently (I'm not a mechanic) an oil plug had not been replaced during a recent service. Temporary repairs were carried out to get us to the destination. We had repairs carried out at the dealership. However, this dealership decided that, as it was a service fault, we were obliged to pay for repairs. It didn't matter that the service was carried out at another Ford dealership. On our return home, we were unsuccessful in obtaining a refund, apology or explanation. A letter to Ford Head Office, also did no good. I didn't even receive an acknowledgement from them. So much for Ford's warranty and their company reputation. Obviously, I haven't considered buying a Ford since. I have nothing against the car. Just the company.
