I transferred $25,034 net of any charges, and Flywire only recognized $25,000 and delivered to the school $24,965. I sent a request of clarification several days ago with copies of SWIFT Confirmation, and NO response from Flywire.

Refund Delayed
Hello, hope you are doing great.
I applied for a refund from Fleming College for a while now and I received a mail saying the money has been refunded to my flywire account since around the 10th of August, and I submitted all the necessary information required by me so it can facilitate the refund, but I've been receiving emails saying I should wait 5-10days which never arrives. I am begining to get worried and disappointed in the service because it's almost to a month now but my money isn't yet refunded.
Please I ask you check in to my case so I can receive my funds.

Be VERY VERY careful of using this service!!! I made a credit card payment with them, then then later had to be refunded and the refunded me USD11,000 less than I'd paid! And they seem to think that's okay. BE WARNED!!
With any other card processor, if a card charge is refunded you get your full amount back, even when there are foreign currencies, and the card fees on the merchant/seller are also reversed - no nonsense about deductions for this or that fee and that they refunded at different exchange rates to what they charged you at.
Not the case with this company, they will keep a chunk of your money.BE WARNED!!!
I received an email from them when querying it, and the email only served to verify that they did very much decide to keep that amount of money. It's between 2 currencies that are pegged to each other so there are no actual exchange rate movements; just amounts of your money they 'calculate' to keep. Bottom line remains the same - THIS IS NOT A SAFE PAYMENT PLATFORM, PEOPLE CONSIDERING USING IT ARE WARNED TO USE A NORMAL CREDIT CARD PROCESSOR OR PAYMENT PLATFORM FROM A REGULATED BANK.

We understand why seeing a difference of this size between the original payment and the refunded amount would be concerning.
To clarify, Flywire did not retain USD 11,000 in fees. In this case, the fee charged by Flywire was 1%. Differences between the original payment amount and the amount received following a refund can occur due to the currency conversion and exchange rates applied when the original payment and subsequent refund are processed.
