I would strongly advise against subscribing to Flick.

For the past couple of years, I've been trying to cancel my subscription after losing access to my account. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to access my account to manage or cancel my membership, yet I continued to be charged $20 every month.

I contacted support explaining that I had previously used two Instagram accounts and could no longer access the account associated with my subscription. I also explained that I had been experiencing financial hardship and had only discovered the recurring charges while preparing several years of tax returns. I asked for help regaining access, canceling the subscription, and reviewing whether any reimbursement was possible.

Unfortunately, my issue was never resolved, and the recurring charges continued.

A company should not continue billing customers who are unable to access their accounts and have repeatedly asked for assistance canceling their subscriptions. Based on my experience, the cancellation process was extremely frustrating, and customer support did not resolve the problem.

I would not recommend this service if you ever plan to cancel.

⭐ 1/5 – Unauthorised charges, no warning, no response

Avoid this company. I signed up for a trial over a year ago and was charged $250 AUD automatically with zero warning or reminder email. I believed I had cancelled — apparently not. This week, another $250 AUD was debited for a renewal. Again, no advance notice, no email, nothing.

$500 AUD has now been taken from my account without any meaningful communication. I have requested a full refund and been met with silence.

After reading other reviews here on Trustpilot, I can see I am far from alone in this experience. This pattern of charging customers without notice and making cancellation difficult is unacceptable — and in my view, potentially in breach of Australian Consumer Law.

I have now contacted my bank to dispute both transactions as unauthorised and will be lodging a complaint with the ACCC.

Do yourself a favour and stay well clear.

⚠️ WARNING: PURE SCAM! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!

This website is an absolute joke. I have been wrongfully and unauthorizedly charged 3 TIMES (once on April 14, and twice on May 14 as a double-billing scam).

Their customer service is completely non-existent—they never reply to emails, and their social media accounts are entirely abandoned.

What’s even worse and highly illegal is that their system completely blocks you from removing your credit card information from the billing page, forcing your card to stay active so they can keep stealing your money month after month!

I have already filed a formal fraud dispute/chargeback with my bank to get my money back. DO NOT DOWNLOAD, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CARD DETAILS!
