I have had no joy trying to get a promised refund since Dec 2020. I have rang them, e-mailed & written twice with no response. I ordered off their web site by mistake thinking I'd ordered from another company with identical item that I wanted. Now I'm really annoyed with myself & this company who need reporting for shoddy customer service & withholding cash for goods they have received back from customers. I've been waiting 4 months now for my refund. Wish I'd seen these customer feedbacks before I parted with my money.

Absolute scammers - they send out cheap, inferior goods and then when you request a refund they claim that the website is closing down and make you choose an alternative cheap, inferior item to replace it!
To add insult to injury, their website and company are still allowing people to order and there is no mention about them closing down - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE 😷

Wish I'd seen these reviews before I purchased with them but the company seemed legitimate. Ordered some items but realised I needed to amend the order. Called Flamingo Gifts who said they would take the items off the order. However the items were not taken off the order and I then had to return them. To their credit, the items were dispatched promptly. However, I have been waiting for a refund for well over a month and after numerous follow ups have also been ghosted. Will definitely be pursuing through all possible legal means. The company director of Flamingo Gifts Ltd is Laura Carradice and she is the individual whom I was dealing with initially before said ghosting.

Update: rang Flamingo Gifts and spoke to Laura who advised that refunds take 31 days and the items had not been received, asking me to send through proof of postage. I reminded her this had been sent through last month (together with several follow up emails). She said she would speak to her manager which is bizarre considering she is the registered Director and founder of the company.

Further update: after further email exchanges and also a report to Trading Standards, they finally issued my refund. For that reason I've upgraded to two stars. I would nonetheless advise avoiding this company all together until they get their logistics and customer service in order. From the reviews below, I can only think they might have been overwhelmed over Christmas and are struggling to deal with a backlog of returns. However it is very worrying for the consumer who has spent money not knowing if it will be returned.

This company needs reporting to Trading Standards. They are crooks. Order goods, don’t deliver them, ignore all correspondence and do not refund

I returned my order over two months ago( signed for service ). I emailed them several times but nobody replied!
When I called them I was told to wait 30 days for refund..it’s been almost 3 months now and no refund. They won’t answer the phone or reply to my emails.
I have never had such horrible shopping experience ! They simply stole my money!

Ordered beginning of December with guaranteed Christmas delivery, didn’t receive until January. When items came was poor quality for the money so sent them back with recorded delivery. Waited 3 weeks before chasing order, to be asked what my tracking reference was. 10 mins later told they had received my refund however they was closing due to COVID so were unable to refund me however could exchange. I said how I didn’t want exchange due to poor quality hence me sending back in first place, to be told again they was closing, that they had shut their accounts and the website was closing. Gone online a week later to find they have now got a website up and running again and still no sign of refund for £100 worth of goods! AVOID!!!

Glad I didn’t order. I have my info pending and they have more bad reviews then good! I’ll pass.

I started to panic after I read the reviews after placing my order. But that was all for nothing as the order I placed on Thursday arrived on Monday :) and I love it!!! Thanks flamingo gifts. I’m wondering if the other delays had something to do with Christmas?

Bought a mug, which arrived damaged. Contacted seller but they just ghosted me. Honestly don’t buy from this place. Clearly they sell on seconds and state they are new.

6 weeks since I ordered, still no goods and now I’m being ignored... don’t order from these .... choose a better company that actually provide the goods!

Placed an order December with guaranteed Christmas delivery it’s now 16th January and I still haven’t received the refund. I contacted flamingo & fox saying I hadn’t received my order on 1st jan for them to respond they would give me a refund which would be processed on the Monday(4th) I waited a week still no refund, contacted them again and now I am been ignored. Contacted them again via email - ignored again. Contacted them on social media now I’m blocked! And this is why people don’t shop small and buy from companies they know!!!! So basically they’ve stolen over £60 off me which is just fantastic ... NOT!

Very pleased with my purchase - picture displayed was exactly like the product I received which was accurately described. Arrived within 4 days.

Tried to return an item - no reply from multiple emails and phone calls. I would avoid using this company.

Ordered xmas present which I got told was dispatched 2nd nov never received. I have sent 5emails and rang once. Got no response af all then out of the blue 5th Dec had a email from lady called Laura asking if I'd had my order as they said Royal mail had contacted them to say my parcel had been lost,I replied straight away and have never heard another word. Terrible company would never buy from them again and would certainly not let anyone else I know buy from them

Not wonderful Order arrived OK but was black not grey. Returned but still waiting for a refund nearly three months later

Order took about 20 days to arrive. Poor quality stitching loose everywhere, looks like it was flung together. Pattern nothing like the picture advertised, very unhappy

Bought an iPad and Mac case. Was worried after reading the reviews, but they came in good time and I absolutely love them!

Mixed review really, received my items within a couple of weeks but one of them was incorrect, have emailed a number of times, did have a response to send a photo of said item, but still waiting for any information of how to send back or to receive the correct item. Not great as this is a xmas present and running out of time to sort. Any advice welcome.

Terrible company and awful customer service. My order never arrived, emails just get ignored the phone rings out never to be answered. Have received no communication from them despite the order being placed over a month ago and the order has never materialised. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
