I've bout a few things through fingerhut and raised my credit line from 300 to 1200...the fact still remains...it's cheap junk!!! I can buy the same online for a third of the cost. Even less at a spring yard sale

FingerHut SUCKS!!!!! Almost 2 years now I havent been able to place ANY orders with them. Always get the message "One or more items cannot ship to Hawaii because of legal restrictions"...and I cannot buy ANY THING at all no matter the cost. No one tries to help figure out the problem either. My credit has been going down down down because I cannot place a stupid order. Now - in December 2021; I'm about to lose my credit line entirely due to no activity because I cant buy anything from this hopeless company. If that's the case you know where you can stick that credit FingerHut! Worthless Company! FYI: Buy from Amazon, Walmart or Ebay often much cheaper than this ripoff company.

Beware. Promised me a coupon for 25% off next month if I placed an order for anything this month. Was surprised to get a 30% off coupon instead. Only problem is I can’t use it. When I call customer service and give them the code number they’ve never heard of it. Will pay them off and that’s it. They overcharge for shipping too.

Right now it aweful order things had them shipped they have not recieved no purchases i was wonder did you really ship it or is this just s game not funny

I called Customer Service in the process of moving to provide new address and new debit card information for my account. I thought this was handled so, a call came in from Fingerhut stating I owed 46.00 dollars and change. Immediately I explain I called into Customer Service to provide all information regarding my auto- payment to make sure no problems occurred. The young lady who called could barely speak English . She explained my account was late. I said no it is not because I provided everything as far as my debit card to make sure my auto- payment would be withdrawn on the date my payment is due. I went ahead and paid a 46.00 payment and this month on October 2021 I am receiving a bill for (2) 46.00 dollar payment which total is 93.98 plus a late fee of 29.00 dollars altogether is 104.09
Question: What happen to the 46.00 dollar payment never applied to my account. Also, I told the young lady in Sept2021 If this late 30 day payment goes on my account I would have an attorney to represent me now, when calling for a month plus no one will talk to me hang up the phone when I call and on October 2,2021 refused to give me any information concerning my bill. Fingerhut representative stated you’ll have to send us a letter in writing that you do not have an attorney before we can talk with you concerning your account. I ‘be never had a late payment. I did nothing wrong other than paid my bill on time monthly. I hope they correct this error off my credit report ASAP because this is unlawful.

Worst. Company. Ever.
I bought a few things from the company 7 years ago and I made sure to get it all set up on the 20th of the month (I get paid on the 15th) and I wanted to make sure a had a few days cushion from pay day to due day which is supposed to be that day (the 20th) every following month. Well the first of the month rolls around on the following month and low and behold my bill is due THAT DAY. So I called and it turns out they put my due day for the first not the 20th. I tried explain what happened and try to get them to move the day to the right day and no luck. Then I tried to explain that I get paid on the 15th and basically got an "oh well. Maybe you should just make an extra payment for the following month." From then on I kept getting charged for 2 weeks of late payment every month for a screw up on THEIR end.

I would put zero star but you can’t. So back in 2015 I got a FH card. I didn’t end up getting my order over $300. So I was told to file a police report if we didn’t get it. Well I did that and asked for my account to be closed. Fast forward to 2019 I’m being sued for over $600 bc of fees and nonpayment. I showed proof of my police report for not getting my items. That wasn’t good enough. I had to go to count. The woman on the phone told me my case was dropped and closed. To turn around and find out she didn’t have that right and I’m still being sued for the items I never got. I haven’t sent them a penny. I will not send them any money. I DONT NOT GET MY ITEMS AND I SHOWED PROOF OF MY POLICE REPORT. NOT MY FAULT YOUR EMPLOYEE CANT DO THIER JOB.

One star is too much for this company. The customer service is so terrible. The products are overpriced and defective. I have been dealing with a return for 3 months. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I am waiting 3 months for my refund. I am still waiting. DO NOT BUY HERE, RIP OFF!

They are like the company store of old. If you owe them money as Johnny Cash once sang “you’ll be another day older and deeper in debt”. Their items are double what they are in stores, for example they sell apple products twice above the the asking price. $1500 in credit means nothing if the apr is in the stratosphere,

I made a purchase but never received my item. Fingerhut refused to ship my item. They added negative item on my credit report. I ended up paying for an item that I never received. I paid it because I didn’t want any negatives on my credit report

Had a credit account with this terrible excuse for a company just to build credit. They make you buy items to keep your credit limit or they take the limit away. I had a security breach were I needed to change debt cards so 1 payment was not being processed. They immediately put a 30day late on my credit for a 22 dollar payment. Never called to let me know. Not email or anything. They are refusing to take it off. They charge outrageous amounts for common items. I bought a watch that broke in a week for 270. Was online for 68 bucks new. Got ripped and credit screwed. THIS COMPANY PRAYS ON PEOPLE with less then great credit. Do yourself a big favor and stay away

I started with fingerhut To help my credit score it ended up backfiring on me because their interest is outrageous and everything they sell is double priced. I recently ordered A-tent through them back in April I have been so busy with work I have not had a chance to use it until this past weekend after a 4 hour drive with 2 kids in 90ﾟ weather we get to the campsite open the 10th for the 1st time to find out one of the stakes that holds the tent up is missing and it has a hole in it. Fingerhut is refusing to replace the tent or at least send me the missing stake that holds the 6' high dome tent up . I can deal with the hole. But because I'm past the 60 day warranty they told me I should have opened the tent up when I got it.i live in an apt. Where did I have room to open a 6 person 6' high tent! I'm not happy with them at all they've just lost a customer. Paid $130 for a tent i cant use!

I placed an order and it is being shipped to the wrong address. Was tole the while order would be rerouted to find out it wasn't.
Overseas customer service as well as US based customer service was zero help. Just kept apologizing. They will reimburse shipping, but, only after all items are received and I mail the receipt. I will get it in 30 days.
I would NEVER recommend this company again!

Quality products. Of course you'll pay more, you have poor credit and are a risk to their company. Use common sense and you'll raise our credit score.

I have been reading such harsh reviews I on the other hand have nothing but praise for this. company. Stating they're overpriced. I'll speak for myself I had credit with them at one time after my daughter passed my credit was shot. They gave me a second chance with the Fresh Start program. Their prices are higher because we are a risk and they can. Fingerhut was compared to Walmart get a Walmart credit card then and Shop there. Also they don't give credit increases I have gotten 2 in the last year and I didn't even ask for it. Another review I read regarding purchasing items with the warranty. Stated they're ripoff because they thought they still had to have the account open to use the warranty. Shame on you you don't read your warranty that is no fault of theirs. It's almost like these people are penny wise dollar stupid in the long run I am building my credit back up if you do what you're supposed to do there shouldn't be any complaints with the company. Now if It's a manufacturer problem that's on them. Most complaints are due to ignorance because nobody reads anything. The few calls I've made to customer service and I use that term loosely because there is hardly any nowadays I've had a pleasant experience. They're not rip offs and they're not a scam and I will recommend them to anyone who has fallen on hard times and is trying to build your credit back up kudos to Fingerhut

Fingerhut is an absolute SCAM!! It will not help your credit! At 1st it will raise your score, then they give you a huge credit limit and tell you if you use the entire thing you can keep it! If you do this it will lower your score. (Credit usage will be to high) even if you use part of it, your credit will go down because they take the increase away! Every penny you spend you keep! Everything else is taken back so your credit score will get lowered! (Decrease in credit) The card is a joke and very deceiving!! PLEASE be aware!! Just because they'll give you credit, doesn't mean you should take it!! It's worth waiting to get a card that will actually help your credit! Instead of getting caught in their vicious cycle of trickery! Thanks for reading! I hope this helps some people!!

I applied to Fingerhut was approved bought as bunch of things for our home paid every month very early and paid off the balance very quickly as well. They give me a 900.00 credit line increase and then I don’t place an order for about a year and they decrease my limit and credit score goes down!!! It’s MY choice if I want place an order and now you penalize me and reduce my credit limit which I NEVER asked for an increase!!!! Thank you for destroying my perfect credit score of over 700! I will never order from your company again!!!

Fingerhut is too old and needs a serious update. There system and policies are out dated from another century. I applied last year... was approved.. I moved out of state...tried to order items for my new apt...nope can't order...cause I would have to use the address I applied with....I called...can't help me change my shipping address....my billing address is different....just close up shop ya too expensive anyway with interest. Everything on their site is about $100 less if u go to walmart....now I lost points on my credit cause they closed my account for inactivity but if u update your system to 2021 n not 1919 u would be better off... Fingerhut needs to Grow up...
