I am struggling to return an item because it refused to accept my order number and postcode or email address even though they are right

i ordered 4 dresses, but only 2 dresses were delivered. emailed them and eventfully replied saying they will investigate it, then they said they will refund me, not surprisingly the refund didn't come, so i followed it up and suddenly change their minds saying that they had investigated it, and that all 4 dresses were packed so they won't be refunding me and that i need to dispute it with Royal Mail. Tried to do that but i can't because it was tracked 48 and only the sender can claim for that. Communication is absolutely awful, there's no phone number. Really hard to get any response from email. now I'm left with 2 dresses for the price of 4!!!!

Fast and efficient all round service, from ordering online to delivery. The returns and refund process works well too. Clothing is well priced, and the styling is both fashionable (without being overly flamboyant) and classic, featuring a range of prints and plains. Nicely covers a wide age demographic. All good.

Ordered a dress in November. Very nice but didn't fit properly so requested a return label. This didn't work from my phone so the next day I returned to the post shop with a printed version. This didn't work either. I emailed Finery and received a message from Hawes & Curtis without any explanation as to what their role is but supplying a query number and apology for delay. Weeks later I called Hawes & Curtis quoting their query number. What a joke! They can't look up anything using their own query number so needed my order number which they didn't recognise either. When I explained that it was a Finery London order they referred me to the website I'd originally contacted because it is not possible to talk to anyone there!!
Out of desperation I tried contacting Rebound who appear to manage the returns but they too refer me back to the Finery customer services. So that's three companies working together VERY badly and unable to resolve a very simple issue.
It is unacceptable for a company to not have a telephone contact number for queries. I am used to ordering online and have NEVER had a problem so I will never use this unprofessional company again. I will not let the matter go either because no matter how busy they are, Christmas happens every year so they should have been prepared.
I suppose Trading Standards will be my next step.

I ordered for the first time on a recommendation. I was very pleased with the first order I received. The quality of the material was good and I found the style of the matching skirt and top very flattering. I then made a second purchase of a beautiful black lace skirt that has been much admired. The deliveries were within 7 days of ordering and trouble free.

I purchased 2 dresses and they arrived within 3 days.

Lovely quality dresses. I had to exchange my order for different sizes and it was a very quick and easy process to do so.

Ordered a dress that didn’t suit me. Returned it and received refund of dress but not delivery charge. They don’t appear to understand that they are legally obliged to refund the delivery charge and keep referring me to their policy not to refund the delivery charge.
