3 weeks after ordering glasses still not arrived.

Contacted them more than once and was told they had been sent by post on the day I ordered them and I should carry on waiting.

Asked for a refund, they refused and told me I would receive them 'shortly'.

Had to get my card issuer to refund me.

Would advise anyone to avoid this company.

Slecht...constant word er gezegd je bestelling komt...ben nu bijna 2 maanden verder.mijn geld terug geëist maar nog steeds niks ontvangen.

Twee weken geleden een bestelling gedaan en tot op heden geen bestelling en geen track and tracé ontvangen.

Mij is later opgevallen dat deze webshop overkomt als een Nederlandse maar waarschijnlijk in het buitenland is gevestigd. Dit zou een trage levering kunnen verklaren, zelfs levering als dropshipment uit Azië sluit ik niet uit.

Ik heb een mail gestuurd naar Eyelids met de vraag waar mijn bestelling en track and tracé code blijft.
Hier kreeg ik onderstaande en niks zeggende reactie op terug.

“Bedankt voor je e-mail en bestelling.
We hebben je bestelling meteen verzonden, maar er zijn overal vertragingen. Het komt binnenkort aan”.

Ik heb Eyelids vriendelijk bedankt voor dit nikszeggende antwoord en heb aangegeven de koop te willen ontbinden en dat ik mijn aankoopbedrag terug wil. Hierop nog geen antwoord gekregen. Gelukkig heb ik met Paypal betaald en heb daardoor aankoopbescherming waar ik desgewenst gebruik van kan maken.

Denk goed na voordat je zaken met deze webshop doet en lees vooraf de reviews.

Update 18-01-2021: Eyelids heeft het aankoopbedrag onverwacht snel teruggestort, uiteindelijk netjes afgehandeld!

Eyelids.co.uk? Took a month for my glasses to be delivered, and they were sent from Arklow in Ireland, not the UK. If you want your glasses in the time-frame that is promised, I would suggest you buy elsewhere. On three occasions I was told my glasses would be delivered this week, and they weren't.

Ordered 5 weeks ago thought it was a good offer 20% off and free postage I've ordered off them many times previously, the glasses haven't come so will claim refund off PayPal looking at review sites they are obviously a rogue company I've always paid full price mayb they simply don't send "offers" glass out and keep the payment,

Ordered pair of reading glasses on 16 December but so far not received today 30 Dec. Emailed on 24th and was told in post. I broke my reading glasses and the website promise delivery within 4 days but now it's been 14 days.

On November the 21st 2020 we ordered a couple of reading-glasses until now December the 5th 2020 our order has not been delivered !
We sent repeatedly two emails to the dutch customer-service and received twice a standard feedback email in return that the glasses would have directly been send to us.
OUR ADVICE: DO NOT ORDER AT EYELIDS !

The eyeglasses are fine and I actually like them. My issue with the company as a whole is I've tried to unsubscribe from their mailing list repeated times and keep getting email after email. I even had an email reply from them a month ago acknowledging I'd changed my communication preferences but they haven't stopped.

J'ai fait une commande chez eux et j'ai un litige PayPal en cours. Suite à ma commande je n'ai reçu aucun mail de confirmation, aucune réponse à mes messages envoyés, aucune réponse au litige PayPal, et bien évidemment aucun colis. J'espère que cet avis servira à d'autres consommateurs pour qu'ils ne perdent pas leur temps et leur argent sur ce site.

Ordered two pairs of glasses and the communication, service and delivery were faultless. The glasses are awesome and I have just ordered more glasses.

Unlike some of the recent reviews, I have ordered two reading glasses and some sun reading glasses. Arrived in a few days and I must say, I am delighted with the design, clarity of vision and overall service. Great communications directly from them every step of the way. I will be ordering more glasses from them.

Great customer service and fast response.

I have tried Eyelids twice. The first time glasses did not arrive for over 2 weeks. I emailed to enquire and apologies were made and the glasses finally arrived a further 2 weeks after that. I ordered a second pair of glasses and after one month they still hadn't arrived. I emailed and was assured they were on their way - and one month later still no glasses. This is a fraudulent business - avoid.

I bought 2 pairs of glasses from them on the 4th this months for some time it was pending but for now I did not receive them .I emailed them and they query if I give the correct address as the last time the glasses also did not arrive .They actually make me feel like a fraud .I did try them again as last time they apologized and said they had problems with royal mail if I remember correctly .So this year I thought I try again but now I lost the money as clearly I wont be refunded.I wont purchase from them again .I would not think if glasses are packaged properly to avoid damage the box would fit through a letterbox as I work Mon-Fri I kept waiting for a missed delivery note .

Living in France but wish to buy in GPS but website won’t let me. Keeps switching me to French euros at inflated prices. Very irritating !

I'm concerned about legitimacy and customer service of this company. An order supposedly despatched 8 days ago has still not arrived and the company does not seem to take my concerns seriously, saying it will probably turn up in the next day or two..... Not what you expect from an online retailer. I'd urge caution.

Bought cheap folding glasses over a year ago that have stood the test of time. When I bought them they were very helpful with my delivery needs.

I found Eyelids via an internet search and they had just the pair of spectacles I was looking for, and at an extremely competitive price. The glasses arrived promptly via post but unfortunately they had been damaged in transit and were slightly twisted. I'd purchased the glasses as a back up pair and wasn't too bothered as I bent them back into alignment but thought I'd drop Eyelids a quick note to let them know (I made it clear that I wasn't looking for a refund or replacement pair). A prompt reply followed explaining that this was a rare occurrence and as I was considering purchasing a further pair in the future, they despatched another pair completely free of charge. I was delighted with both the spectacles and level of service received - credit where credit is due.

I did have problems with my order but they have now explained that a bag of parcels went missing at Royal Mail and they had problems with their e-mail servers at the same time. I have now received my order and they have apologised.
