Ordered 3 x water butts on the 20th August and my only message from them, is, your order is being processed. Radio silence and nothing. No thank you, no message that it has been delayed. Yet another company who treats people so badly.

Have bought many water butts from Evergreen over the years and the most recent pair arrived promptly and are of good quality. All large water butts seem rather expensive but I can see that they are bulky items to ship and Evergreen prices are competitive.

This is my 2nd Harcostar 227 Litre Grey Water Butt. The other I've had for a few years. Really well built and delivered quickly. Packaging was poor as in a flimsy cardboard box with sellotape coming off. However water butt was fine.

100 litre water butt arrived on time and in good condition. Easy to install and connect to the other butts.

We lost the hatch of a black compost bin. The only company with reasonable price offers for that bit is Evengreen. Easy to order, delivery service was more than fast even it was a standard delivery.

We wanted two very large water butts to collect rainwater from a large expanse of flat roof. Found the Harcostar Magnum 350 l. Only problem, it was out of stock everywhere. Requested an email from Evengreener when back in stock, which duly arrived. Only problem was we were away for three weeks on holiday. Liaised with Dawn in Customer Services at Evengreener, who was an absolute star. She put our order on hold until we were back and could take delivery. There was a missing piece in the delivery, which she despatched by express courier, along with one of the additional hoses we had ordered. The other arrived a few days later on normal delivery. So now we have everything we need and are delighted with our experience with this company. We now have our full complement of water butts, but would have no hesitation using them again for future orders on other products.

Bought a water butt from them 3 years ago and it has developed a leak, sent them an email with order number and photo and literally minutes later received an email that a replacement was on its way.

I have tried several times to leave a review on the website. I guess they monitor them and only release the good ones. Luckily I saved what I had written:
I really liked the idea of these water butts, as they offer much water-saving capacity in a relatively small space. However, setting them up was much more complicated than expected. We are not unintelligent – we have 6 university degrees between us including maths.
The main issue was connecting the 2 units together. The instructions say to connect them at the bottom, which makes sense, and explain that you should drill out the back of the recessed threaded section and fit the supplied right-angle connector.
Unfortunately, because the connection point is recessed, there isn't enough room to turn the right-angle connector into place. We had to cut a section off the connector before we could fit it. Once we did that, we discovered that the threaded part of the connector was too long to fit properly into the recessed threaded section on the water butt.
The supplied taps are designed to fit into the same opening so that you can attach a clear tube to monitor the water level. We ended up using these taps to connect the water butts together with the clear tubing, only to find that the threaded sections on the taps were also too long for the recessed fitting. After carefully filing down the ends and using plenty of PTFE tape, we eventually managed to connect everything successfully. We plan to use the black pipe supplied, which is intended for connecting the butts together, as a sleeve over the clear tube to prevent it from turning green.
These are not cheap products, so it was disappointing that we had to make so many modifications just to get them working as intended.

Ordered a harcol water butt. Good price, good communication, good product

This was just a small order for a right-angled water butt connector set which I was unable to get locally. The order was dealt with promptly and courteously, and despaatch and delivery were excellent. No hesitation in recommending.

Our Harcostar water butt, bought last June, had developed a leak during the winter, but we were delighted to find that there's a 5 year guarantee on them; two days later the replacement has arrived. Many thanks to EvenGreener, Harcostar and Emily for their help. Brilliant! Highly recommended.

My order was left "in a purple bin"- the waste disposal bin. I was in at the time, it was not "delivered" to me, it was left in a waste bin and has now been taken to landfill. Nowhere on my account did I designate the bin as a safe space, it was not available for my order.

EvenGreener were fantastic as soon as they picked up the issue. They sent replacements as soon as they possibly could, even going above and beyond to send an item that had gone out of stock with them from their sister supplier. Took a lot longer than it should have to get my items, but really good customer service. Thank you!

First time purchase from Evengreener. Great communications with Emily, products arrived as expected and were easy to install. One slight issue where connectors to connect together were missing but Emily resolved it immediately. Thank you!

Looking to buy a waterbutt and had been on several web sites before coming across Evergreener. Was unsure of exactly what I needed so rang and spoke to Emily. Emily was more than helpful in answering my queries and explaining the options. The butt I decided on was on offer but even at full price was much cheaper than advertised on other sites. The process from buying to delivery was straightforward and I was so pleased with the waterbutt I called Emily and bought another one. Yet again Emily was very helpful and told me exactly what I needed to have to connect the two together.

Our daughter gave my husband a Christmas present but a part was missing. I emailed the company and had a very quick response and the missing part was received the next day by courier. Excellent customer service.

The initial order arrived incomplete. I contacted them and the missing parts arrived the following day.

It would have been better for the first delivery to be correct, but they made amends as quickly as possible.

Had a Warranty claim, 41/2 years into a 5year warranty. Was sorted out quickly and efficiently with the replacement tank arriving quickly.
