Eurogamer used to be a very good source of news 10 years ago, but these days they have 1/3rd of their article outputs; and they only cover a very small selection of games, and other half of the articles are straight up pushing political agenda. They will also straight deleting comments pointing out their inaccuracies or criticisms about their article; or stances they don’t agree with.

Wow. Eine Lösung für Eine Trophäe von Resident Evil 8 anbieten und dann ist diese einfach mal falsch, so dass ich danach 30 Minuten einen nicht vorhandenen Bug gegoogelt habe. Die letzte der 10 Toiletten im Dorf stimmt nicht. Ihr habt eine Toilette vergessen die man nur durch das Haus am Ende der Burg erreicht.
Euro Toilette Nummer 10 ist nicht interaktiv. Am meisten ärgert mich aber dass die Kommentare einfach mal geschlossen wurden. Entweder ist der Chefredakteur nicht mit der Kritik klargekommen und wollte das ganz nicht mehr korrigieren, oder man wollte nicht dass Leser einen Fehler finden den sie normalerweise nach der längeren Zeit nicht mehr selbst gefunden hätten. Mit aktiven Kommentaren hätte ich auch zwei Jahre nach Release noch lesen können dass ich mir die Mühe bei Nummer 10 umsonst gemacht hätte.

I thought I'd update this review to show their complete hypocrisy, cam across an article of theirs

"We're biased, apparently. Well, no we're not. Anybody who reads Eurogamer regularly knows that we simply like games and don't hold back with what we think about them."

Yet they seemingly silence anyone who has that same drive, amazing hypocrisy!

Eurogamer's writers and YouTube presenters are desperate to find racism, homophobia and transphobia in every game they review or play, either in the characters or the developers, or both. Everything has a Woke/PC angle, with the word "racist" being bandied about like it's going out of fashion. They're mostly middle class white people in their thirties, so what experience they have of these issues is open to question. Most likely they've jumped on the Woke bandwagon because they believe it to be progressive (and popular), but it's disingenuous. I doubt these privileged idlers who play games for a living really understand the themes they insist on inserting in every available situation.

Eurogamer has misleading terrible reviews on games, without a shadow of a doubt one of the worst review sites on the internet, absolutely shocking how bad some of there reviewers are, honestly have me absolutely convinced they underscore some games for publicity, absolutely hate this site.

Used to be a great website full of interesting articles and reviews with a consumer friendly website.

Now advertising is all over the website, the advertising is inappropriate for the content and target audience.

A really shame that something that used to be held in such high regard has lost its way so far, I can only assume it’s to make money which is a short term view that will only negatively impact the website in the long run.

They just regurgitate game press releases. Waste of time looking.

The worst Gamingsite for gaming news and reviews.

I have no problems with the content of the site itself. The reviews and especially Digital Foundry are all well and good. Sadly, the same can't be said of the comment section where people are routinely bullied and chased out by certain repeat offenders if they say something that the hivemind doesn't agree with. This is where the stars get knocked off.

If, like a normal well adjusted person, you're not interested in being called names and accused of being a fanboy by middle aged men grifting for likes on their comments (yes, seriously) then avoid like the plague. Don't expect the moderators to enforce their rules either, Don't be tempted to make an account; there is no button to close it once you've opened one and it requires your email address. You'll be much happier if you never engage.

Once upon a time EG used to be king, judging games by their merits in a neutral, dispassionate way. The prime consideration was if the game was any good or not on its own merits. Now there is some insidious agenda filter that games have to pass to even appear on the site and extreme virtue signalling. You can't trust anything they say or don't say because it is tainted by this nonsense. It's supposed to be a games site, not Pink News. Aside from that, reviews have diminished to a trickle and the editorializing has gone through the roof. Avoid.

Was a member for years, but over time the reviews became less about providing useful consumer information and more about political point scoring.

Oddly, despite writers becoming increasingly political, the mods prevent any debate of the issues raised and will frequently ban or shadow ban members that raise concerns or attempt a counter debate.

Case in point, the site refuses to even mention the latest Harry Potter game or provide a technical analysis, presumably because they don't like the author's views on gender identity.

They seem to have totally forgotten the point of their website, and are falling further and further into the futile culture war that now plagues the UK.

used to enjoy Eurogamer, gone right downhill over the last couple of years, you cannot voice an opinion that doesn't align with theirs. Their reviews have gone from quite good to bloody useless.

20 years ago Eurogamer.net was the best website around. Great reviews and excellent articles. Over the last few years the website has become highly politicised. Comments being removed from discussion when they don't conform to the correct mindset.

Long gone are the great articles/ interviews with developers only to be replaced with rubbish, political opinion pieces. They have even lately refused to review a number of games due to their woke ideology.

Eurogamer.net has become to videogames as to what MTV became to music. Best avoid.
