From the clickbait articles and agenda driven nonsense often found on the site Eurogamer is more about political and social ideologies than actual gaming.

For anyone actually interested in video games there's little the page has to offer. However, if you're after a site that champions sexually repugnant nonsense such as 'Horses' (which was banned due to its questionable content), while simultaneously having a meltdown at the existence of attractive video game characters then this is the place for you.

Exactly what's expected from an EU sh*t show company

Completely inadequate and at times absurdly biased reviews. For example, the review of Ark Riders has an unfairly low rating without any compelling argument. And this publication is included in the list of whose opinions are taken into account when selecting the average press review? Nonsense.

What an absolute sh*tshow. I used to like Eurogamer years ago, but they really went down the drain. This isn't reviewing games on the basis of how good the game is anymore, how much fun you can have with the game, how good the graphics are etc.

This publication should not be trusted.

Played call of duty and guess what.. after 6 hours am back on arc raiders.

There logic is flawed and should have better peer review within their company

They value player experience over their own ideas about ethics. Should their assessments be trusted after this?

Eurogamer’s Arc Raiders “review” can barely be called a review at all. Instead, it spirals into irrelevant tech rambling that has nothing to do with what readers came for.

The result is a credibility-draining piece that fails at the most basic task of criticism. If the writer can’t focus on the game, they should call it what it is—a tech essay. Or, more honestly, admit they’re using the review format to wage their own little culture war against global technological progress instead of telling players whether Arc Raiders is any good.

Used to be good. Now they are just sellouts. Doesn't surprise me if they got paid to give arc riders a bad review...

Imagine rating concord 3/5, a game which was so bad the publisher cancelled it !

If it was possible to give a 0 or a negative score, I'd do so in a heartbeat. Their latest shitshow, the arc raiders review, is filled in the comments with deleted comments, defense comments from staff about how its actually good they allow a review score to be impacted by a personal bias over something they dislike that has nothing to do with the actual gameplay. Npc voices? If the complaints were that the game is bad to play and also the ai voice work, sure a 2 is fair. But not just for one thing alone if the rest of the review is praise.

Trash reviews from whiny babies that didn't get their way. Giving bad scores to games to push their own agendas.

Shame I can't give them 0 Stars. Absolutely useless company with braindead takes. 2/5 for Arc Raiders only because of the AI Voices? But it plays well etc? Have you woke idiots completely lost yours minds?!?

Horrible horrible website. You get the option to Accept all the cookie tracking with third-party advertisers, or to Reject and having to simultaneously pay them money. Disgusting morally corrupt website that tries to grandstand while being absolutely morally bankrupt themselves.

The site recently started forcing people to either accept a thousand or so of tracking cookies to even be able to enter. That or subscribe, or leave. Horrible practice. Who do they think they are? I’ve been hanging around on Eurogamer for many years. Not anymore though! I’d rather they use ads on the site than that horrible practice. Is it even allowed? Probably is now that the UK isn’t in the EU anymore.

È semplicemente il peggior sito di recensioni videoludiche.
Oltre alle recensioni pessime in quanto quasi mai oggettive e poco professionali, con voti dati a caso e ben distanti dai voti realmente meritevoli (si va oltre il soggettivo e la forbice di valutazione si perde drasticamente), il sito appare anche brutto esteticamente ma soprattutto confusionario.
