Prompt response (I sent email to support and got a reply within 2 hours), knowledgeable technician (getting me to run a unix command-line program will always make you smarter in my eyes), and prompt resolution (within an hour of the CLI, a response sayin a replacement will be sent out quickly).

Lack of Transparency About Import Costs
I recently purchased an item from ETB Technologies Ltd, a UK-based online shop, and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. During checkout, there was no clear information about potential customs duties or import fees for orders shipped to Germany.
After the item arrived, I was unexpectedly required to pay additional customs and import charges, which significantly increased the total cost of my purchase. Had this been clearly stated beforehand, I might have reconsidered or at least been prepared for the extra expense.
While the product itself met expectations, the lack of transparency regarding international shipping costs made the shopping experience frustrating. I hope ETB Technologies Ltd improves its communication to make international purchases clearer and more straightforward for customers.

This is your second negative review regarding customs fees, following your first order with us where you raised the exact same issue. You are fully aware that orders shipped from the UK to Germany are subject to customs duties and import taxes, which apply to consumer purchases, and are set by your local authorities, not ETB Technologies.
To claim you were unaware of these charges is incorrect, as you have previously purchased from us under the same conditions and experienced the same process. Our website clearly states, in plain and accessible terms, that international customers who are consumers are responsible for any applicable import fees or taxes. This information is prominently displayed and easy to understand.
For VAT-registered businesses, we can ship via WorldEase, allowing delivery with no VAT or import fees, which is also clearly stated on our website.
There is no lack of transparency on our part - the customs requirements are entirely the responsibility of the consumer buyer, and you were already fully informed from your prior order.
