Bought Holiday Insurance from Essential Travel again. Went to them last year, and found the process easy and quite painless. Every thing so easy to understand and well thought out, even I could do it! Just looking forward to my holiday with no worries about anything. If I need holiday insurance next year I know where to go.

I liked the way I was treated on the phone. The offer I received was fair compared to other suppliers I had spoken to. You should not be punished for having regular checks that show up related illnesses.

Once again essential travel insurance has provided the best levels of cover at the best rate for going to the usa, never needed to make a claim yet so don't know what the customer service is like, but the ease of use on the web is second to none.

Slight disappointment that the premium as gone up since last year although it is good that you have the option for scuba diving

I've used Essential Travel for a few years now. Although I haven't had to claim on it as yet, I've heard from other people that they give an excellent service when required. The site is very easy to use, and explains in detail what each level of cover contains. Also very easy to apply for.

I'm going on a weekend break that includes a day trip to France; Boulogne. According to the paperwork, I need to have travel insurance otherwise I can't go. Which company was the first I went to for a quote? Essential Travel. Being over 50, I did try Saga, but their website wouldn't let me put the right year for my birth. I looked at prices for annual insurance and Essential Travel was £40, yes £40 cheaper than Saga. I think they hiked the price up because I had to declare I had broken my wrist last year. It's fine now, so why was their insurance so much more expensive. They also rang me up to find out about my experience.

Easy access, easy to navigate, good prices quick responses. I have been using Essential Travel for over 10 years and I always go back to it after a web search of other sites.

Tried in vain to use the website in the evening. Would not allow me to put in both beginning and end dates of holiday, just one or the other. Also when I got around that one it would not allow me to do a final confirm in a medical screening. Also found this problem last year.
Tried following morning and everything fine!
