They came out and spent all of TWO minutes looking at my boiler and charged me £150 for that pleasure. That's £75 per minute.

Absolute rip off merchants who prey on people who need help.

Very poor experience. Almost 300 pounds for a 15 minute service and return visit 1week later to remove traps. Nothing was caught. Although sales made it sound guaranteed, stating they would take the bodies away. I posted before and was asked to ring customer services...which I did. Very unproductive (having got 20 years customer service experience myself I was disappointed to say the least) mickey mouse and Donald duck spring to mind...pleade do not think about using them......BTW still got the critters living under our shed and my cat has been more productive..... would give 0 stars if could

Shoddy outfit people BEWARE!!! They overcharge do not use this company

Brilliant service from ERG - cannot fault them. Needed pest control as bumble bees had set up home in next door's bird box which they had promptly chucked over the fence into our garden. Great.
Googled pest control for bees and this was the first company that came up. Called at about 6pm and they arranged straight away to come out the next day - no fuss.
Man that came was brilliant. Got rid of the box and any bees left in the garden to make it safe for us. Also could tell he genuinely cared about the bees which was nice.
Overall quick and efficient service - really pleased.

this is a badly run company. didn't turn up on the day they were booked in. hard to get hold. didn't ring to say they could not make appointment. don't give them any card details.

Do not use this dreadful company. I paid them £320 to treat for fleas in a two bedroom house. The engineer said it might need a second treatment on account of eggs hatching. One month later the Tennant reported fleas again. They dont have any pets. I arranged a second visit which the call handler said was free but just before the engineer was due to call head office rang me and asked for another £125 plus vat. The engineer was less than one hour in the property for the first visit. £320 an hour that didnt do what it should. The engineer was a sub contractor and I'll bet never got more than £75. Day light robbers. Avoid at all cost.

Terrible experience of using this company.
1. Charged £198 for a job that took under 5 minutes.
2. Very poor customer services - ringing me with wrong information, denying the time I booked the call, calling to say the locksmith was on his way when he actually arrived an hour later.
3. 24/7 phoneline a myth because at 5.30pm I tried calling three times on two different numbers before I was finally able to speak to somebody.
4. Job booked (with Conor) at 15:13 and I was told it would £165+VAT if within 90 minutes (absolute rip-off but I had little option). After that time the charge would be £145 + VAT. Locksmith arrived at 17:45. I was still charged the full amount?
5. Money charged to my credit card without any notification by email or invoice supplied, which is against trading standards.
Unprofessional from start to finish. My opinion: AVOID

Re-wrote, again as original post was deleted - clearly ERG Facilities do not like the HONEST feedback !! This is a LEGITIMATE review and I have a job number and the paperwork to prove it.

Requested urgent plumber to change overflow on cloakroom toilet. Engineer turned up with no supplies, sent ME to Screwfix to get the part, then had the audacity to charge me for 2 hours work to do a 10 minute job. No paperwork to sign. Thankfully I have CCTV so can evidence his lies. I am now on my third phone call over 4 days to try and resolve this, I have currently spent nearly an hour on the phone being placed on hold or getting fobbed off stating that they are waiting for signed paperwork - made out to be that I was lying, however I know full well that I didnt sign ANY paperwork and will be going straight to the police if any is produced ! Spoke to the rudest manager called Tania / Tonia who is in 'customer service' absolutely disgusted at her 'customer service', shouting down at me on the phone - she said they have 'procedures' incidentally she failed to mention these procedures when I spoke to her several days ago, nor did Claire when I spoke to her on the previous two occasions, surprisingly I havent had any of the promised phone calls returned. Note - that they are happy to invoice without being in receipt of any paperwork from the engineers so be warned !! Given the reviews I have now read of these and ERG Plumbing (both based at the same address - 10 Journeymans Way, Temple Farm Industrial Estate, Southend-On-Sea), AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Absolutely disgraceful !!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I was charged over £400 (including VAT) for an emergency central heating call out. I accepted this charge late on a Friday night during very cold weather. The engineer effected a temporary fix, and the heating stopped working half an hour after he left. The following day the company offered to send someone else out again - at what I thought was an exhorbitant hourly rate and of course wanted credit card authorisation upfront - but could not do it in the timescale we needed (nor could the original engineer attend) and so we found a local person instead. They reported that the system had not been properly examined and fixed it. ERG used the fact I had not paid them again for their own engineer to come out to refuse to refund any of the costs of what was clearly an inadequate and substandard service that had failed to fix the underlying. Ignore the claim of 5* reviews on the ERG Plumbing website, which of course can't be read or verified.

Wish I had read these first , totally overpriced and unprofessional ,hopefully they will get no more custom and be extinct.

Terrible customer service. Work was not carried out to my specifications on the phone and I was still charged for this even after proving they were wrong on the phone. They miss sold me what I was expecting in order to gain my bank details. No one would give me information to take this matter further so I'm stuck with paying a bill for something not done and no way to take it up the ladder. Do Not Use This Company!

They lied not only once but twice to me in order to get my bank details.

First and last time with them. I needed a plumber urgently because I couldn't open my restaurant due to the problem with the drain.
I was quoted £165 for a plumber to arrive between 30 to 90 minutes of my call (guaranteed, they said). The plumber arrived 3 and half hours later!!! 20 minutes job and they still charged me £198!!!!! Crazy

WIsh I had gone onto Trustpilot before using this Company. They show good reviews from Trustpilot on their Webstie so I did not - more fool me.

I used them because my regular engineer was on vacation and I had house full of small children and needed a quick response .. so I expected to pay "a little over the odds" BUT read on....

They offer same day service, I called morning of Friday and was told £150 for an oil boiler engineer to visit to fix my boiler, would arrive that evening.
Later in the evening the engineer had got "held up" and would come on Monday! on Monday evening he got "held up again" and oh btw you should have been quoted £165 ! so I said forget it .

5 mins later I got a call back and said OK to £150. so On Tuesday the engineer turned up, did not have the right part "because his van was broken" he got the boiler limping along (not very hot water) with the wrong part and said he'd come back tomorrow with the right part.

Later I got a call from ERG saying it will now cost £245 as he had to install some parts, by that time I just needed the boiler fixed so agreed. engineer returned on Thursday, fitted the correct boiler nozzle and said he had done a service for me - sounded good to me. I then got a bill from ERG for £476! they seem to think i agreed to an EXTRA £272 for the second visit ( cause by the engineer not having his van and the right part btw).. So I complained. they said they would "replay the recorded conversation". as you might now expect - Not heard from them since...

what is more the boiler was then LEAKING OIL and i had to call out my regular engineer who
a) fixed the leaking oil ( caused by the engineer not refitting the oil pump pressure tester part properly after he tested the pump.
b) finished the proper service with an oil filter change,
c) fixed the heat generation so we now get proper hot water.

Charged me £65 for the call out - which was VERY reasonable...
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for ANYTHING - totally untrustworthy and once they have your credit card, charge what they like.

Wow, should have read the reviews! I called these people to get a locksmith out to fix a door I had a problem with. Admittedly the fix wasn't simple, and the locksmith that did arrive seemed to fix the problem. He took around half an hour to fix it. They said on the phone they charge "one three five an hour" – what they didn't say is that's not including VAT and that I'd be charged for the full hour. The guy who came didn't give a quote on the final price, just made me sign a box on his phone and then left. Then i get an invoice for £162 the next day they automatically charge to my credit card because you can't get them to come out without giving them card details. I had read the reviews I would never have called – I've been overcharged and now I'm not confident the job was done by an appropriately qualified locksmith. Feel cheated, and will never use again. And will dispute the charge with my credit card company.

Cannot believe I didn't see this website before. My experience completely mirrors the reviews set out below. APPALLING SERVICE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. NOT A LOCAL COMPANY. Plumber attended and did nothing then submitted a bill 6 weeks later. TERRIBLE NON SERVICE. DO NOT USE.

Just a reiteration of what others have said, this company takes you for a complete ride . This company are very quick to take your credit card details, in fact that was the only thing they actually achieved, oh except to clearly debit my account , without informing me when this was being done , and for an amount I did not agree to paying. Boiler packed up, they got there a couple of hours later than agreed, only for the engineer to walk away from the job without fixing the issue. I have had to pay for someone else to come and sort the boiler. I have sent all the information to Trading Standards. The people that run this company should not sleep at night given the below par standard of service, and £165 per hour for something my Nan could have sorted , this is not the way you treat customers. All my Facebook and Twitter contacts are now aware of this company so they at least don’t fall into the same trap.

I would give them zero stars if possible. I agree with the other reviewers. Avoid this company like the plague. They take your bank details first then don't call you back or do what they have promised. Every time you ring them you get a different story. Nightmare!

Unscrupulous and unethical - and their services misrepresented. I was lied to on the phone.
I was charged £528 for an electrical wiring test and an appliance test on a two bedroom terraced house. I was quoted £295 plus vat for the wiring test (eicr) and £145 plus vat for the appliance test. When I queried the very high charges I was told on the phone that the wiring test would take 3-4 hours and the appliance test up to an hour. I was told initially that these would take place on two different days.
I took time off work . What ACTUALLY happened was the electrician took 45 minutes to do BOTH jobs. I rang them and emailed them immediately and told them not to deduct ANY money from my bank account.
The electrical contractor said he had to go immediately because he had a lot of other clients to see that morning😡
If that was the case how was he ever going to spend 4-5 hours doing my two jobs. ERG facilities ltd are unscrupulous, unethical and misrepresented their services and how long the work would take in order to make totally unreasonable charges.
Have nothing to do with them.
I have sought legal advice and if they do not reimburse me half the money which is £250 I am taking them to county court. Even so £253 is still too much for a 45 minute job. the £523 I have been charged is outrageous.

They had already made the deductions from my bank account within minutes of the electrician departing. !! Surprise surprise! Despicable.

I wish them bad KARMA because nothing good will ever come of the way they do business
