So I check my credit score and according to it elderbridge say I ain't paid my mortgage for 6 years😂😂 I have asked elderbridge for an explanation as its obviously ruined my credit score. Do they care?? Of course they don't. It's the credit agencies fault!! This company are a complete disgrace and most certainly as hould not be trading. The y toik over when London Scottish mortgages went bust. No request for new contract agreement or anything

They are a complete nightmare there bullying tactics and threats are quite farcical and they certainly ding like to be challenged challenged.. Well the y ar now getting a dose of there own medicine.

If I could give a minus I would. These people are liars, con people, absolute disgrace to call them selves a loan company. I proved them wrong one one occasion, they gave me £70 compensation. Persistent phone calls, texts. On 30th April I payed up my loan over £23.000, one week later sent me a link to pay more money. I have no debt with you people, you need to be stuck off. Strange how are carnt leave a review on google I’ve been blocked. Says it all dosnt it

If there was a minus zero I would rate them as this. They bought my loan and added own interest. They penalise you for paying more each month to clear the debt and add extra interest in. My loan with my original lender was 15 years. When Elderbridge took it over after 10 years they added another 16 year term even though there was very little to pay off. When I questioned it they got hostile and said that is what it is. I asked for redemption figure and they interrogated me with personal questions of why, where was I getting the money from. Bloke wouldn’t give me redemption figure unless I answered him. Finally got it and it was £500 less than the statement they just sent me. They send you hate mail every month saying you are in debt and threatening action even though I pay on time but they don’t check there account before calling. They say they have to send debt letters out each month. I found a way round it from one employee, and was advised to pay by standing order four days before due date To avoid due dates falling on weekends or bank holidays and so that hate mail would not be auto generated.

Just the worst. Buy up defaulted loans and push people relentlessly. I've heard far too many stories about customers having heart attacks because of their practices.

They could afford to freeze interest and offer reduced settlements, like any sane debt collection company. They'd still make a massive profit as they buy loan books at a discount!

But no, they'd never consider this

Would give minus score if I could.They say zero charges zero charges but theses are hidden and under statements have a sentence with charges with no explanation.Add refunds to balance and charge you; ignore complaints ignore ;Sars requests etc.Fca accepted complaint and contacted them and I am on my thirds FOS case against them at Ombudsman level. They are cash cowing customers.loan was sold to to Ge no arrears in 8 years thousands in costs a pay lender would be shut down.Elderbridge are beyond disgusting.They cannot even fathom how their charges are applied and despite previous FOS decisions are still doing as they please ?? How is this being allowed
