4 years since the last house was occupied and still our estate has not been finished. Still has unfinished work so it can be adopted by the council and the ripoff freehold area still not been handed over to the residents. Completely being ripped off by the appointed estate management company and elan just don’t care. Utter shambles this house builder

Went and had a look at your property and noticed everyone is selling up and angry ... all the gardens are sinking and muddy and the houses like BROKEN BOXES 📦 🙄... SO GLAD WE DIDN'T BUY ...

I am in the process of buying my first home and I came across the Elan new builds. Rosie has been excellent for helping making this new chapter of mine smooth and exciting. She has been really helpful and replied to our questions very quickly. Thank you for all your help so far.

If I could give zero, I would have given zero. Elan homes customer care is the worse ever. Do not trust Elan Home. They are lightning fast at taking your hard-earned money, but their after sale service is an absolute joke.
My experience with Elan Homes has been nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did they fail to leave enough space and gap for my dishwasher socket and appliance, but their dismissive attitude towards the safety and security concerns raised is absolutely appalling. Despite the clear evidence of friction between the socket and the machine, Elan Homes seems to believe that their drawing showing the designated socket location absolves them of any responsibility.
It is absurd to claim that the placement of the socket is fixed according to their drawing, while completely ignoring the fact that standard-sized integrated appliances require a certain amount of space to function properly. As someone who has purchased new builds in the past, I am utterly disappointed by the lack of foresight and accountability demonstrated by Elan Homes.
To exacerbate the situation, I have raised a complaint and am currently waiting for a resolution. However, in the meantime, my kitchen is in disarray, my dishwasher cannot be used as it's integrated into this specific point, and the safety concern remains heightened, especially with kids in the house.

Since moving into my home in March 2023, I have encountered numerous issues with Elan Homes, many of which remain unresolved to this day. Despite bringing these concerns to their attention, including the ongoing issue with my back garden, I have been met with delay after delay and have yet to see any satisfactory resolution.
Save yourself the headache and avoid Elan Homes at all costs. Their negligence and refusal to address legitimate concerns make them unworthy of anyone's trust or investment.

If I could give zero stars I would. Elan homes seems to be helpful until they receive your money.
Having moved into our home in July 2023 we still have outstanding snags which need sorting.
Quickly after moving in it became apparent that our garage was flooding during rainfall. Elan told us that it would be investigated but to stop further flooding we would be fitted a rubber strip as a temporary measure.
Forward 7 months and we have chased this up numerous times as the rubber strip is still allowing water in and now been told that the only thing they can do is re fit the ‘temporary’ rubber strip correctly as per guidelines as it wasn’t fitted correctly. We have never had anyone come out to inspect the garage to see what could be causing the issue so how they can fob us off is beyond me!
Absolutely shocking after spending so much money!
I would also like to add that god help anyone who is moving into one of elans houses as they seem to use incompetent tradesmen who just cause more problems when coming to ‘fix’ reported snags.
Also good luck trying to get a response from anyone at customer care as I am still awaiting a response from over a week ago !!!

The way Elan homes operates is quite remarkable. You report a problem to customer services (external doors not fitting and needing replacement), they send someone round, in our case multiple times, acknowledge the issue and confirm they will address the problem then nothing happens. You then follow up with more emails to customer services, receive a response offering apologies and various reasons for the delay, and the cycle continues. We have been waiting since last spring.

Following on from your response dated 26/3/24: It was very unfortunate that it had been necessary to initiate county court proceedings against Elan Homes prior to said action being taken.

The process of buying our Elan home was smooth from start to finish. Sales Executive Tracy is an absolute asset to the company and has been brilliant throughout the process, nothing was too much trouble and she kept us up to date throughout the process. Site manager Colin was great and all snags were dealt with quickly and without fuss - very happy customers and we absolutely love our home!

I bought a property on the Whittingham Fold site a few months ago and love the house. Tracy is a wonderful asset to the company, she has helped so much with every step of the journey and without her we would not have bought this house. She took away the stress of moving, making it achievable for us to do so. She is very efficient at her job, professional but also so friendly and easy to talk to.
The house itself is great, there were very few snags and the ones that were found were dealt with extremely quickly by Colin the site manager. He also went above and beyond to ensure the house was made perfect for us.
We are very grateful for both Tracy and Colin.

Bought a house in Redwood Boulevard in Blackpool. The finish of the house is poor.
Doors warped and catches that look like a 5 year old has had a go. Parts missing in the kitchen and missing tiling in the bathroom. Our canopy over our front door doesn't fit the wall correctly and our front door leaks water. Rear patio doors don't lock and are insecure. I have complained and brought to the attention all these issues with site and customer services. Nothing, no dates to rectify any of this. What could have been a lovely house has been let down by what I can only describe as cowboy trade people. A blind person could fit some of the fittings better than Elan have done.
I'm now coming to the conclusion that they will never rectify these issues and we will end up in the small claims court or county court to try resolve this.
That's after I finish hitting my head off my unfinished brick wall.

Moved into our property 15 months ago in Somerset and the experience with Elan customer services has been far from ideal. We have insulation missing in the walls and ceiling in one part of the house. They've provided various dates when the work was to be undertaken and failed to turn up on each occasion. No apologies and no date has been forthcoming.

Collette and Rosie at Southport have been very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, kept me in the loop to make it as quick and smooth as possible to get me in my new home. The site manager has also been fantastic and will go above and beyond to resolve snags or issues,
