Mich schlau gemacht. Die Idee ist gut, aber wohl Marketing.... Geld regiert die Welt.

Great idea! I still Google from time to time but have mostly moved to Ecosia. Works almost as well but makes a difference

Ich bin wirklich zufrieden mit Ecosia. Ich finde es mindestens von dem rein praktisch genauso gut wie Google. Außerdem ist es natürlich schön, dass man passiv und ohne Aufwand dennoch so viel fürs Klima tun kann! Ecosia ist meiner Meinung nach eine tolle Erfindung.

Ecosia est un service génial, quasi similaire à Google mais chaque recherche plante des arbres. Bien évidemment, il est un peu moins complet néanmoins pour des petites recherches sans besoin d'aller plus loin il est totalement suffisant et je vous conseille de l'utiliser, ça ne change pas grand chose à votre façon de rechercher et ça fait un petit quelque chose pour la planète qui n'est absolument pas négligeable. J'adore ce navigateur, même s'il n'est pas personnalisable, personnellement ça ne me dérange pas plus que ça, je préfère faire un petit quelque chose pour l'écologie plutôt qu'un petit quelque chose pour le plaisir visuel uniquement.

Per ogni 45 ricerche effettuate (circa) verrà piantato un albero: non userò mai più altri motori di ricerca, visto che con delle semplici ricerche posso contribuire a salvaguardare l'ambiente.

Ecosia I love your mission, but your usability could really use some work, please put more focus on User experience by hiring some extra UX designers and testers.

After using Ecosia for 3/4 months it annoyed me to the point of switching back to google even though I'm against their policies. Whilst using Ecosia I found myself regularly having to switch back to Google to effectively find what I was looking for.

I'll give an example of some usability problems: On Ecosia's app (IOS, Iphone XR), in the image search, when ticking on an image, the close button is so small that it's a 50% hit/miss, it almost feels like a minigame to try and press it, and when you miss it costs you time because it takes you to the site's link instead of back to searched images overview. A couple "small" things like these build up irritation and become very frustrating after a while.

Another one, on desktop, the image search shows many images that take you to a dead link when you want to see the fullsize version. Dead ends galore.

To s, Ecosia doesn't show you as effective or accurate searches as google would, I also miss the "shopping" feature.

Please Ecosia, I could not find a feedback option in your browser, that's why I'm giving this review in the hope you will UP your game. If you want to make a real difference in the world It needs to be just as good as the competitor's user experience. I wish you guys the best,

Je l'utilise depuis 2ans! Satisfaites mais on ne peut pas personnaliser le bandeau. On peut seulement changer la couleur. Plus de personnalisation serait très agréablement reçus.

Ecosia setzte auf Microsoft Bing auf und liefert somit die gleichen Suchergebnisse wie Bing. Ob diese besser oder schlechter als Google sind, liegt wohl im Auge des Betrachters. Für mich haben die Ergebnisse bisher immer gepasst.
Ecosia zahlt keine Dividende und keine Spitzenboni an Manager. Escosia betreibt keine aufwendige Steuervermeidung. Ecosia hat seinen Sitz in Berlin. Ecosia hat schon einige Unternehmerpreise gewonnen, z.B.: Utopia-Award 2009, Gründerwettbewerb – IKT Innovativ, Preis der Umweltallianz Sachsen-Anhalt 2010 usw.
Ecosia veröffentlicht monatlich einen Finanzbericht auf seiner Homepage und ist somit Transparent. Ecosia "spendet" seine Gewinne an Nachhaltigkeits- und Aufforstungsprojekte.
Fazit: Warum die Gewinne von wohlhabenden Aktionären und Konzernbossen nähren, wenn man bei gleichen Service auch gutes tun kann?

j'utilise Ecosia depuis 1 as déjà je n'ai jamais eu de soucis avec malgré que le site de recherche peut être améliorer mais cela ne me dérange pas.
De plus elle est engagés dans l'avenir de la planète ce que je trouve super.
J'adore regarder le nombre de fois qu'un arbre et planté grâce à mes recherches c'est un "jeu" très amusant à suivre

Ich habe Ecosia zu meiner Standardsuchmaschine gemacht. Dass es noch nicht ganz so ausgefeilt wie Google ist, das war zu erwarten, aber wenn es mich nicht mal zur Doku der Programmiersprache leiten kann, wenn es das erste Wort ist, das ich eintippe, dann ist der Nutzen für mich ungefähr bei Null. Wechsle inzwischen jedes Mal zu Google.

Just as easy to use as google, with fantastic search results. Started using it as my default browser last year and haven't once had to return to google. Very impressed with the functionality and usability and obviously the goal of ecosia is hugely admirable.

Ecosia is a fantastic search engine. Though it may not have the same image results as google, it is reliable and actually plants trees! I'm very happy that they have found a creative way such as this to save the environment. But as I said, the search results are not the same as Google's, and if I were to look up something specific I would use Google, but overall it is a great search engine, and I recommend it to all who believe there is hope for our planet.
