I have been with Easyspace for a long time, Originally i was with sky Market which Easyspace bought it out years ago.
In general my experience is good but like every company they do have some hiccups, they once deleted my website by mistake and the backup was lost, eventually after a week they managed to find the backup and restored my website.
The reason i gave 3 stars not 4 or 5 because when i get my domain renewal or web hasting package renewal the price they email me is always more expensive than advertised price and I have to phone and negotiate to get it down to what is advertised.
Why not offer a great experience by offering the advertised price directly .
Highly recommend Easyspace
I'm not sure how long I've been with Easyspace, but I recall getting an email celebrating 100,000 customers. Though I am in the U.S., their performance never fails. Highly recommend them.
Easyspace easy support
Easyspace support team have always been extremely helpful in supporting my technical issues I have had when swapping websites and DNS settings etc. They have moreover assisted with making the changes for me.
Auto renewal
I specifically got in touch to remove auto renew - I never asked in the first place. With emails of earlier correspondence. I do know that I removed this option, but surprisingly this was changed back to auto renew. I do get regular monthly emails which I did not look at as I knew I had declined auto-renew which was why you pay extra for the payment - and that my renewal was not due until November, and yet payment taken in October. Response to emails was quick but unhelpful. Never trust that your account has not been changed - go in and check always and at least 1 month before renewal as renewal date is not the same as payment date - one month earlier - no rationale for this.
Almost two decades with Easyspace…
I have been with Easyspace for almost two decades (domain name and mail hosting). For the first few years the service level was a bit sub-par, but they have since upped their game considerably and over the last few years I have only once required assistance, and when I did their response time, service attitude and delivery was no less than impeccable. I have no problem recommending them.

Easyspace tried to force me to renew services with them that I didn't want by taking money from my account months before the renewal was due.
I contacted them straight away over it but they refused to refund the money claiming they didn't have the facilities to issue refunds.
I told them if they didn't refund it I would contact my bank and report them at which point they tried lying to me by telling me my bank couldnt do anything and I had no rights because that's there policy, (Everyone has rights).
I reported them to my bank and my bank got my money back for me, easyspace then tried to contest this even tho they said the only reason they couldnt refund the money in the first place was because they didnt have the facilities to issue refunds.
My bank asked me if I wanted to continue the case because easyspace had contested the chargeback and I said yes i wanted to continue the chargeback so my bank fought the case and I won and got to keep my money.
They then deleted all my files and website out of spite even tho I still had a month of service left that I had already paid for in full the year before.
Thankfully my website was only a small local fishing club and I had a backup copy so uploading it to a new host wasn't a big problem for me but had it been a business this could of caused big problems.
They also try to hold your domain hostage and refuse to give you your transfer code unless you pay them £18, this is illegal and they can not do this, they can ask for a fee but they can't refuse to give you your transfer code if you don't want to pay that fee, you own your domain not them.
If you find yourself in a similair situation with them then do the same as I did.
1. Contact easyspace and tell them you want your money back.
2. Contact your bank straight away and make them aware of the situation and start a chargeback.
3. Report them to trade and standards to help stop them doing the same to other people in future.
4. Report them to icann and icann will get you your domain transfer code for free.
5. Take plenty of screenshots of your conversations with them as evidence for your bank and icann and record any phone calls you have with them.
6. Make sure you have a backup copy of your website so when they delete your files it's not a big issue.
7. Refuse to close the case with your bank no matter what lies easyspace tell you.
The entire process takes about 3 weeks but you will get your money back that easyspace shouldn't of taken in the first place.
Don't believe easyspaces lies, you do have rights and you can do something about it.
If your thinking of joining easyspace I suggest you go elsewhere, just look at all the negative reviews from people all saying the same thing, theres a reason all the positive reviews are invited but not a single negative review is invited.
Easyspace are scammers and thieves and if you join them it's only a matter of time before catch them trying to do the same to you as they have to so many others.
They keep posting fake positive reviews to try hide all the negative reviews from people, just read all the negative reviews from people to find out what people really think, anyway I'll keep posting this to stop them burying all the negative reviews like they try to, if you check other other review sites you can see there real score is 1 star with over 90% negative reviews.

I have been with Easyspace for 10+ years and had very few issues. Whenever I have had to contact support they responded in a timely and knowledgable fashion and I never had to escalate any issues.

Easyspace helped to resolve a domain transfer out issue with another service provider who was deficient and unhelpful.
The customer service agents at Easyspace understood the problem quickly, gave instructions easy to understand, and had the domain back up and running with hours, saving me days of pain with the previous service provider. Great job and made my weekend easier!

After resetting the password on my email account I had difficulties sending emails from my phone. I rang the easyspace technical support where my call was answered quickly and an advisor led me through resetting my phone. All very quick, efficient and professional.

I suffered a hacking attempt which tried to get into my bank account via the fee renewal process. I realized that there was something wrong and aborted my response. I checked with your helpline to report the matter and to be reassured that your security dept. knew about the attempted hack

Indicative of an industry that is suffering from exceptionally low standards
I've been in IT for more than 30 years. I have used EasySpace for almost 20 of those. Their services seem to work reliably. However, anything goes wrong and I have wasted way too much of my time getting nowhere. I have moved all of my services to an alternate provider. I tried to move my DNS services from them in February of this year and it was a terrible experience.
Make sure you cancel everything
Moved our domains away due to costs – BUT Even though I transferred the domain away the month before - They still took payment from my credit card for a domain that was no longer under their control
They claim it was set to Auto Renew but once you have paid the ridiculous Transfer Away fee the domains in question disappear from your control panel anyway hence unable to change anything relating to it
As such I have had to take this up with my credit card company as an unauthorised payment
I will not be using them again nor would I recommend them

I had a problem with email forwarding and tried the help desk of my ISP and was more confused than ever, I tried easyspace help desk as they are my domain host and they gave me the information I needed to solve it straight away .
Good interaction with customers
Always easy to get relevant support for questions asked, though sometimes difficult to contact over weekends.
Staff know what they are talking about; a definite plus to deal with someone who understands one's own level of technical competence.
At times I wish that each website would have a single itemised annual charge, rather than several different charges over the course of the year.
Outstanding service provider
I have been a client of Easyspace for over 10 years. They have consistently been a great service provider, very responsive and stupendously helpful. Navigating around technology is not my natural habitat but I have always found each person I have spoken to very easy to understand. They were outstanding in developing my website and my client manager is first class.
