If I could give a MINUS Star I would. This used to be a good, reliable company. We used them for many years and found them quick to respond to issues and questions. However, this all changed over the past few months and I would suggest that you avoid them like the plague. I have instructed my sales team not to use them again. I have waited two weeks for them to respond to my 'ticket'. I have had to resend my freight with another carrier and I am not sure I will ever hear from them regarding my request to cancel and refund. Their old email address is no longer monitored so you cannot get hold of anyone. Disgusting customer service. Avoid at all costs

After months of trying to get an answer from E-go, today they told me that missing deliveries need to be notified within 48 days.
I first contacted them on day nine and was asked to be patient due to a back log caused by COVID. I stupidly waited patiently and then contacted again 4 weeks later. Numerous emails were exchanged where they continued to ask for my patience due to their depot being shut down.
Again, stupidly I waited. Now, having pursued them repeatedly and being told they have updated their system, today they told me my enquiry is outside their 48 day limit.
I want it to be very clear that I had ongoing contact with them from 9 days after they sent me the first of two dispatch notifications.
Never in 35 years of business have I encountered such an unprofessional business.

1 star would be generous. Sending goods to Melbourne with correct details on the con note and still didnt make it to the customer with 3 goes. A complete joke! Don't hold your breath for a response either.

It seems to be a lottery. I have sent with them twice. The first time worked ok ... took a few weeks to go from Adelaide to Gold Coast, but give them some leeway for covid I guess.
The second package was a disaster ... I sent two tea chests at the same time to the same place but they took 3 weeks to deliver the first one, then said they had lost the second one! Can you believe it. Their processes are crap, their customer service is crap, their systems and tracking is crap, and their parent company Hunter Express is crap also as they are the ones who lost the package. I mean, it's large, 1 cubic metre, so a bit hard to misplace! Check your pockets ... bungling incompetent no-hopers.
"We're sorry" was all I got out of them - of course I had to chase them even for that.

Better than other courier service
I can't believe how many negative reviews there are. At first, I was hesitant but I carried on because of these. To be honest, they are much better than other leading courier companies I'm dealing with at the moment. There are few hiccups but they managed to rectify them. Their system is a bit old fashioned but I got used to it. Now, that I'm already in other location, it's a shame that they don't service where I am otherwise I would have gotten them again. They are fast in delivering and their customer service are very prompt albeit via email only. All I can say is thank you for your overall great service. :)

E-go sent my first package to the wrong house number. My second package was sent to the wrong street.
I only sourced my first package because of an honest neighbour. The second package I found when I went door knocking around my neighborhood looking for my parcel. These dealings were a few years ago but I never got around to writing a review, so here it is.
Do NOT deal with any business who uses this courier service. Lazy drivers & very poor phone customer service.
Do not use for your business
Purchased something for retail that was provided to this courier. First attempt to deliver at my house was "carded" no card, no knock on the front door. I was at the front room of the house. When I enquired the first time, I was merely sent a picture of the front gate. A few days later when i enquired about the second failed delivery, i called the driver directly and he said he knocked on the gate (not the door).
Safe to say these unreasonable delays have caused my to lose face regarding my small business. I would not recommend if you are expecting an acceptable standard and are making time sensitive shipments.

Packages go MISSING
My packages are stilling missing - it will be weeks missing for a 3-5 business day delivery. E-go's response is "we have no idea where your packages are ... they are somewhere between Melb and Syd". Their customer service is a joke and i encourage anyone who wants actual delivery of their goods to use a different courier.
Good service and discount price
I’ve used e-go couriers quite a few times and have nothing but good things to say about them. They’re basically an online booking only, printout your own shipping label, discount part of Hunter Express. Although it’s a cut price brand, my experience has been the service is very good. Being part of a large freight hauling company means they make frequent trips to lots of locations, and can carry heavy or oversized items many courier companies won’t take. Having the options of additional discounts if you choose depot drop off or collection, rather than them coming to your home/business, allows more flexibility and cost savings.

Worst courier service I've ever dealt with. They don't have a contact number, they don't return your several emails for days. When they finally do they tell you lies like oh, the delivery driver broke down 3 days in a row.. yeah sure. And then they finally tell you a specific time it will arrive, and that's late again too.
They basically treat you like crap.

Where to start...
This happened during covid times, so I can forgive a slight delay. Paid express option for a package to be delivered from only 15km away in central Melbourne.
After three days contacted e-go. No phone number. Asked where my package was. They didn't know and told me to contact the seller to see if they had picked it up.
The seller let me know three days later (so six days after the initial pick up date) that the package had indeed been picked up.
Two days later I left the house and noticed that it had been placed in front of the gate by the pavement / road. The packaging had been ripped open and the product (which must not get wet) had got wet. Luckily it was salvagable. The driver had not knocked.
If you value your goods, never use e-go.

Trying to return these items and they were refused as the company states they dont deliver fridges? i cant make sense of it all but then spent 2 weeks following up a refund which was done in 3 parts and still $28 underpaid...

I had paid for insurance so surely i would be covered!

e-go courier is unreliable especially pickup the items. Their drivers always late coming to pickup around 5-6pm.
Most warehouses don't open till 6pm. If they come and miss their collections, They will make you pay $44 futile fee.
