Stopped by Dollar General in Donalsonville, GA and was amazed at how clean and organized all of their products were and their restroom was clean, too. Wow! I would recommend using that store as a model store. Great job and way to go Management for leading an awesome team!

Terrible company that does not care about their customers. Consistently don’t apply coupons that you have in your app and have inappropriate priced signage on their shelves. If you want to spend way more than you’re expecting to because they don’t have things priced accordingly then shop here otherwise don’t waste your time.

Waiting period for someone to come check me out because no one was able to be found in the store. Also why do we have self checkouts installed if we’re not able to even use them?

Dollar General at 8156 Spring Hill Dr in Florida. Love the convenience. CANNOT STAND HOW MIRANDA places all of my bags on the small counter as I’m getting stuff out of my cart, rather than using the circular bag corral. There is a reason they made the bag corral, so we can unload our cart! Annoys me to the top everytime.

The white lady named ms tink would not stop following me she also kept coming up right behind me asking random questions and woudl not leave me alone even though I was just buying my groceries

I go to or have gone to two of them in Claremore ok, the one on west will Rogers Blvd and the one on Lynn riggs Blvd Claremore the manager Chris is a complete liar they give you coupons but when you try to use them says don't work for milk they sell stamps lies we don't sell stamps always trying to instigate a fight so he can cry to the cops Morgan s female is also a liar so is Kimberly who works at the one on east. will Rogers Blvd called corporate she had a accent said she doesn't under stand the employees know this that's why they don't care and bite the hand that feeds them they also like to gossip like att small town mentality that's all I'll say for now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could give it no stars I would. I have called their corporate office nothing. So I'm wondering why am I doing this. I live and frequently use the dg on Donald Lee Hollwell. The manager is super rude she yells at elderly customers. Myself and my 70 years old ain't went there. She (the manager) calls us up and says no receipt no cash back card only. Ok we proceed the whole time she's walking off as if we are taking to long but it was something with her card. The manager comes back from having an independent conversation makes the card work. Now here is where it gets crazy we think the card went they again no receipt I grab the bag she proceeds to yell what we doing it didn't go thru you need 4 more dollars. My aunt pulls out cash and was saying just keep the change. The manager proceeds to beat yes beat on the counter in front of a store full of people. So I threw the stuff back because at this point I don't want this you yelling and beating like we are your kids. But of course I called the corporate office nothing. Which is sad because that store is the only one for a lot of elderly people. I'm a firm believer that just because you're in the hood you don't have to be treated like a dog. Especially by the manager of an establishment. My aunt went back yesterday one of the employees had an attitude. It's sad if you don't want to work or have problems stay home. I just decided to write this review to just see if that store gets any better or hell if dollar general itself even cares. I'm not going to spend my money to be talked crazy to I will not do it. So dollar general if you see this you may need to do something..This is my second complaint and it hasn't even been a month since the last one and nothing maybe they are like the manager they don't care either

It's Saturday and it's 5 & 10 dollar off day with the coupon depending how much you spend, so Saturdays are crazy busy. With that being said I expect the line at the register, what I don't expect is the fact the help takes turns leaving the register to go outside and smoke. So when this happens they go from 2 registers down to one, meaning if you need a gallon of milk or a 12 pack of beer you might get stuck behind some 80 year old lady doing a weeks worth of shopping to get her 5 and 10 dollars off. Which is no where near as bad as when she tries to pay with a credit or debit card and has no idea at all what she is doing, and pray she didn't forget something or thought the price of something they rang up was wrong. This is wrong the whole run out smoke come back in, then again another runs out smokes and runs back in, what ever happened to customer service???? Am sorry but there are 10 people on line your first concern shouldn't be if you got enough time to go out and smoke!!!!

The Dollar General store at the HEFLIN Alabama address 8269 us 431 store manager and employee always put back New Hot wheels diecast cars for their family members and friends and family friends and it's not fair for the regular customer on top of that at the same store the manager is always rude and always talks bad and makes fun of customers especially the older female employee

I went to store # 17183 and had a great experience. The stock man saw I was lifting a heavy item and offered to assist me. After I paid both the cashier and the stock man helped me. Thanks for having great employees.

The store manager was very rude, not only to her employees but to customers as well. She acted like the customers were an inconvenience when asked for assistance with items on the upper shelves that weren’t easily reached. Her response was, you are just going to have to wait, I am busy and I am expected to do everything in store because I have lazy staff members. I felt awful for the two employees who were working with her not only that day but every time that I have been in that store. It is no surprise that I never see the same person twice, not as long as she is their boss. I will drive 20 minutes to the one farther away if I can just so I don’t have to deal with her. Her name is Marty and she works at store #7977.

Chaotic aisles, overpricing throughout . I have visited Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and General. In the last two weeks. Massively inflated prices and a waste of my time.

i would give zero stars if could,i have been shopping at dollar general for the past few years and have purchased beer there at least 1 time a week.yesteray went to pick up a few things and when i got to the cashier he carded me for a 4 pack of beer. I AM 66 YEARS OLD AND HAVE BEEN PURCHASING BEER FOR A FEW YEARS HERE AND THEY HAVE NEVER CARDED ME THERE BEFORE. I UNDERSTAN UNDER AGE KIDS TRYING TO BUY ALCHOHOL ,BUT REFUSING TO SELL ME BEER W/O ID IS ABSOLUTLY REDICULOUS,AND HE WAS RUDE ABOUT . THAT WILL BE MY LAST DOLLAR SPENT AT DOLLAR GENERAL. YOU LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER

I went to get Folgers coffee, that was on sale. The merchandise on the shelf had 3 inches of dust on it. How gross!

I'm referring to store # 12133. I believe the store manager is named Stephanie. I have been in this store several times and not satisfied, one visit to the store looking an item and the person I asked went to her and she told the person she don't know. As a manager she should know her store. Another visit all the shopping carts with seats and backs were in the back room with I guess stock in them we were forced to use carts with the backs wide open. This visit there was a product on sale in the freezer but reaching in for the product they were smashed and damaged. I feel I pay a dear price for food these days and should not have to pay for damaged goods. So my advise avoid store #12133 on 441 in Ellisville.

Don’t shop at dollar general in mt Dora fl dollar general send you this digital coupon then try don’t honor them. The coupon said spend 30 get ten back and I did then I didn’t get the coupon.

Management and staff are very rude. Lazy and don't assist in anything. Always a dirty store and with expired food on shelves. Called corporate and they rewarded this employe for being rude and obnoxious. This has to be known by most customers as they are no different from one customer to the next . They hire undesirables and they are the worst I have experienced. This is not going in unnoticed as I and others know this establishment is , undesirable. . Galena Blvd. Aurora IL . Tameca is a Dog and rude.

Dollar General app keeps cutting out.Tell me to log in multiple times cutting out coming back, cutting out coming back.And when I call nobody answers the phone and if this is how your company is going to be going, then you should not be in business anymore.I'm going to be making a report to the Better Business Bureau.If this keeps continuing, it's been happening for 3 years.Fix it or face the federal penalties

I am in agreement with many reviews. I have gone to multiple Dollar General Market in Lexington and Prosperity, SC locations. The staff need training in customer service. One cashier told me their express lanes could not be used because they had too much staff, but I almost always have to find the staff. Many times, I have had to resort to yelling out “is anyone here” to find someone after I walked each aisle to try to locate someone. Twice, someone would yell back at me from the office, never coming out of that office. Then, someone all of a sudden appears from the back. Dollar General Market has a good concept, and the potential for business is available at all locations I visit, but if it takes considerable time to find someone to find/buy an item, why have the business? A neighbor of mine told me they never found anyone and finally threw down their $5 bill on the cashier’s counter and walked out with the item and did not plan to return. I heard that there is a problem with theft. If that is true, I can see why. No one is watching the stores. You need managers that manage their people and the store and don’t sit in the office all day. You also need 2-3 people out in the store to assist customers and watch the store. Keep your express lanes open.
