I went to dixy Chicken for years now It been was nice then the food started going down bank they mustn't be able to afford any freezers because anytime I keep going in the chips are always left out god help what other food is left out

I live in The Mercian, everyday I use to have dinner at Dixy's..... Today 10th April.....after Easter party at Heidi's ( Bar next to Dixy Chicken ( Broad Street) we went for dinner as usual but few Pakistani security guys ( Around 4-5) didn't let us in just because we were Indians (They knew our origins because they happily spoke to us about it in a causal chat in Heidi's)
They stopped us while entering Dixy's chicken for dinner at late night.
(Security guys at this outlet are racist) we went to Food Republic for dinner afterwards.
I would request all Indians not to visit Dixy Chicken Broad Street Outlet just to avoid any kind of heated argument with those security guys)
This happened on Easter Night 10th APR 23 ( around 3AM )

Ordered online at the Dudley branch and didn’t receive my food till over an hour later. Called several times to see what was happening, and the same disappointment, “will be with you shortly”.
When it eventually arrived, it looked awful, but I was hungry and ate it. Next day I had sickness and diarrhoea, therefore it was food poisoning. Never go there, poor service and POOR FOOD!!
Zero stars for me. 👎🏾

Shop rat infested, never again

I Ordered burgers from them and they were not fresh at all and the Buns were very very dry on top of that the meat they used had some hard particles in it which was very disturbing and disgusting.

Accepted order then cancelled it after an hour and gave to wait 3-5 working days for my money back

I ordered dixy chicken Fallowfeild , Manchester and their pizza was worth waiting . Their food delivery was late which can be bcz I order around 6pm . But food quality was better than any other dixy place I ever ordered

They take very, very long to deliver.

LIVID…. AVOID. Messed up my order on Friday so I called them and they stated they would replace the error. So drove night down to Whitley Bay tonight to be faced with the fact they weren’t willing to replace the order and charged us. They explained they had reduced the potions and hadn’t made an error. Beware that the large potions are the previous regular. I won’t be returning. They are rude as hell and very greedy. They are ripping people off at a time where we need to save as much as we can. I won’t remain loyal to businesses that treat customers so poorly. They have no posters explaining they have reduced there potion sizes which is bad considering they are not making customers aware they may need more food to cover the epic reduction in food size. Horrible food, rude members of the staff. The email address they refer you to for complaints doesn't exist as I sent one a month ago with no response. A bunch of greedy unprofessional individuals who are after money 🤮

Awful.
Ordered via delivery app and the food and drinks are terrible. Ordered ‘cookie dough’ expecting the warm cookie dough but its ben and jerries ice cream, it doesnt say that on the app. Also ordered a chocolate fudge cake which turned out to be a box of custard with some cake in the middle… the person who this was for doesnt like custard, it doesnt say on the app that this is with custard. Dont get me started on the ‘milkshake’. Absolutely no clue what this is meant to be, it looks weird and tastes nothing like a strawberry milkshake.
Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here, and if i saw the low star rating i wouldnt have bothered. Money wasted.

Wasted my money bought chicken wings all of them gone off looks disgusting,nevar going aagin and won't recommend anyone.

I have ordered dixy chicken so many times, i have no count. Always been excellente, until today. I ordered my food..usually would come to £46 (family of 6) never had to pay delivery due to amount spent. Today came to £52 (same as always ordered) and had to pay for delivery. Which is understandable as everything has gone up HOWEVER.. the good today was late.. and the strips which is what all the kids love, have come as breaded pre fried rather than freshly battered, I called up to them saying "this is the only ones we have ever done".. no, they are not. From someone who has been ordering once a week for a long time now. Chips were soggy and so was the fried chicken peices. Although they are polite IN the crawley branch, I definitely will not be re ordering with them as prices have gone up and quality has gone down.

Fresh food and nice tasty chicken would recommend.

Veryyyy bad customer service. The owner are very rude and it takes them 30 mins to make just 1 menu (when is not busy). I’m beyond disappointed with their behaviour and customer service. The owner lady started to scream. I would never recommend this restaurant to my worse enemy. Overall, this place is very bad.

They advertise the restaurant to deliver at anytime of the day, I called up the South Shields restaurant to ask for a delivery and the person who answered just hung up on me for no reason. I called again and asked if they could deliver my order and the same person said that they don't deliver until after 5pm which is a lie.

Very rude, who hangs up the phone on a customer who is just asking a simple question? The staff really need to be trained more as they lack any customer service skills.
