Helpful, friendly service after many years of reliable campervan use.

Amended review since I was threatened with losing my warranty. This review is an accurate description of my experience which cannot be argued against. There is no point having reviews if you only want good ones. People can see many good reviews as well as not so good, and can come to their own conclusions.
Substantial list of problems with Denby from day 1.
Ruined my excitement at getting a van after years of graft and saving. Totally fed up.
Poor quality workmanship meant van returning twice for 2 weeks each time. Most issues rectified BUT the vehicle should never have been handed over with this list of faults. No quality control on show. Here’s what I found;
-Pop top (new) fitted with holes in it. New one fitted.
-Reversing camera broken during conversion. Fixed.
-Leisure battery set up wrong. Fixed.
-Satnav not working. New sd card provided.
-Door and window seals badly fitted. Not fixed.
-instruction booklets not fit for purpose for newby.
-Water level indicator a mystery.
-Fridge levels erratic.
-Creaking from pop top frame. Fixed by myself. To be fair, I never mentioned this to Denby.
-Ripped flooring glued down with excess around the repair. Minor issue, I know.
-Awning not fitted correctly. Fixed by myself.
-Mechanical issues with base vehicle. Not Denby’s fault and they had work done by 3 garages (?) to correct issues.
Office staff are there to help but seem to be let down by fitters. Made me feel like I’m actually the problem after taking my £48k.

We have recently gone through the process of purchasing a van and having it converted with Denby, our request wasn’t straightforward as we wanted a different layout to the rock and roll design. Leanne was so helpful from helping us find our van and carrying out the design we wanted, she never said no to anything we asked. Can’t recommend Denby and the team enough, so friendly and helpful.

We had an excellent service from Denby. We were kept up to date with our campervan purchase every step of the way, with Leanne being ever so helpful with all our requests and questions. The quality and standard of the finished article is superb, and the handover was detailed and done in a non confusing way. Definitely use this company again in the future, and highly recommend them to others

I had some caravan curtains made with tie backs unfortunately they came with the press studs facing the wrong way I asked if they could rectify this problem for me and they did very pleased thank you Denby Campervans.

This our first purchase of a camper van, and we were so pleased with the effort and attention which we received for Jim and the staff, Lloyd showed us around when we went to collect it and we feel very confident using this, the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish we were not rushed but left to make up our own mind and choose what we wanted nothing was too much trouble for anybody Highly recommend this company you will be surprised by the effort and attention to detail

Having purchased our fantastic campervan from Denby some 5 weeks ago, and en-route to a weekend away, we decided to purchase a pop top mattress and returned to see Johnathan and the team.
I came away with the Vango poptop 5cm self inflating matress.
It fits perfectly into our VW campervan and is so easy to self inflate, (no pump required) as you just open one valve to let the natural air in, and then open the main valve to deflate and store perfectly in the pop top roof when down.
I was amazed at how comfortable it was compared to the many I've had over the years and cannot recommend enough.
Thanks yet again to you Johnathan and the whole Denby family team...........absolutely top draw service as always.

Personal and passionate about camper vans. A lot of care and love went into the creation of our vans - you can tell when you visit how proud they are of their work. As for maintenance and support - there is a reason that I choose to do a 2 and a half hour round trip to get my van tweaked - wouldn’t take it anywhere else. Exceptionally friendly, polite and knowledgeable staff. Very highly recommended.

Great service from Lloyd today at Denby Campervans. Fixed a wiring fault in my van while I got a cup of tea.

We have just picked up our Campervan from Denby and we could not be more pleased from start to finish finding Dendy choosing our van and the interior the service has been excellant thank you Robyn , Leanne, and everyone we are so happy and now spending a few weeks in Cornwall living the dream

Rang Denby spoke to Lloyd explained we had a problem with the rock and roll bed on a campervan we had bought privately. We took it to Denby and Lloyd fixed it with no charge. Thanks very much. Gary

Bought a T6.1 from Denby Campervans fully converted for us in 2021. Whilst doing a months touring in Scotland this May an issue with the leisure battery charging rang Denby whilst in invernesses, Ryan booked us in to fit in with our return journey. This morning Craig had the van for 2 hours where a thorough inspection took place of the dial panels, leisure battery fuse boxes and control panel. Replacing the control panel with a up to date system all free of charge. This enabled us to carry on touring with little to no distress. We are very grateful to all the Staff concerned. Office Staff were also first class. Thank you

The team at Denby have always delivered for us. They supplied our van almost three year's ago now and as 'campervan virgins' held our hands through the whole buying and specifying experience brilliantly, really listening to what we wanted and needed for our particular requirements. They're always available on the phone to give advice (even when we called them in a panic a couple of times in the early days from various camp sites around France on our first trip!) Plus, on the few occasions we've been back with minor problems or to get small things tweaked or changed, they have always been first rate. I'd have no hesitation in reccommending them, and indeed have already done so to lots of people!

Bought our 72 plate vw transporter with the Balmoral Deluxe conversion with the added extras as agreed fitted a week ago .we are really pleased with it and also the friendly and helpful service that we received. Already been to Cheltenham and around the peak district with more planned .Special thanks to Jim and Lloyd for all their help making our experience at Denby 5 stars .

We have been extremely pleased with the Denby campervan we bought 4 years ago. We have had a couple of minor operational queries over the years, all of which were rapidly and successfully answered by the friendly technical team. Recently, the fridge stopped working intermittently. The problem (a loose connection) was correctly diagnosed by email - I have just taken the van to Leek where they fixed it for no charge. Wonderful service.

Bought a vw camper from these guys before Christmas and was very happy with the price information and service they provided . Went back yesterday to have a rain guard for my awning fitted expecting to pay at least £150 . They fitted it for free!! Absolutely brilliant , helpful and friendly people . Thank you so much, can’t ask for better service than that . 👍😀

We have a VW camper from Denby 7 yrs ago, it got caught in a high wind and twisted the rear scissor bracket on the pop top roof, we contacted Denbyto see if they could repair it and they couldn't do enough for us we had brilliant service. Great People deal with, if your after a converted VW Camper we can highly recommend them.
