This "upgrade" resulting from the Prism/Allseated takeover is not really an upgrade at all. What used to take two simple clicks in Prism now requires five long clicks in Cvent. Instead of being able to easily download and save our event setups, it's now a three-step process compared to the simple one-step process we had before.

It's almost funny that they flooded us with countdown emails leading up to the takeover, giving us hope that this would be an improvement, only for it to turn out to be a disappointing waste of time.

A word of advice: if it isn't broken, don't fix it. The website didn't need 50 different buttons to accomplish the same task.

Cvent is a nightmare compared to Prismm!
We do hundreds of events per year and loved how easy it was to create custom layouts on Prismm. NO MORE.. Cvent requires more than double the time to create a simple layout because there are multiple steps required just to place tables and no options to easily adjust things. We are looking for a new event platform.

Part of the Prismm integration. I didn't like Prismm much, but it was better for new user interface and speed. I can't do basic functions that were an after thought in Prismm. For example, I can't grab text and rotate it. I have to figure out the exact angle I want it at and manually type that in. I also have to click on everything three times to get it to do what I want. I also can't select an item and do a simple repeat of the item. It also tries to place things for me. Like I get the item almost to where I want it and then the program jumps it to another spot. Going from a kind of bad interface that was easy to learn and quick to use to this unintuitive mess ruined my day and I highly recommend checking out a different event layout program.

Had an initial sales meeting as a venue scheduled, canceled last minute, rescheduled, and then blown off as i waited in the virtual room for over 20 minutes for the call to happen. Not indicative of a company that knows what its doing.

Cvent has been really easy to set up and was the perfect platform to host our inaugural customer conference on. We're looking forward to hosting it again this year and the ability to clone a previous event saves so much time.

We are a private recitation club based in Alberta with a banquet facility. We registered with Cvent last year hoping to boost our corporate bookings, but unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing.

The platform’s support structure is quite fragmented—multiple people handle different aspects, which made it difficult to get clear, consistent answers. After-sales service, in particular, has been poor and unresponsive.

We have not received any enquiries through Cvent to date. We have only seen one enquiry on the platform, and that was about three months ago. Since then, there has been no activity or follow-up.

We also have not heard back from anyone despite reaching out. Could someone please connect with us and walk us through the process and how to effectively use the platform?

Overall, we did not see the value we expected and would not recommend this platform to others in our industry.

This has shortened venue selection cycles and improved rate transparency, especially for multi‑city programs.

On the registration and website side, the builder is flexible enough to handle simple meetings and complex, multi‑track conferences. I’ve seen higher completion rates because the flow is intuitive on both desktop and mobile, and payment processing is seamless when needed.

- event app - available on as an app or HTML5 - it has everything an attendee needs.

- Our CVENT events were always treated with care and professional service. White glove treatment, and relevant training was always provided. When wanting to use a custom solution, we could have things tailored for our brand/corporate needs.

Feature rich platform that allows you to brand and customise your online event experience. Easy to use, great onboarding team and a slick experience for delegates. The ability to fully customise the event registration experience and then pulling that information through to the in-person app and the onsite registration experience means we can quickly understand what our customers are interested in, who registered and who ultimately attended so we can report quickly on success and areas for improvement.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. I was charged for the remainder of a contract even though I never used the software as it was not a good user experience and the customer service throughout the process was poor and unhelpful.

What makes this worse is that I had an email confirming that my subscription would not renew, yet they said that i was going to renew without a signed agreement from both parties.

Before sending my last payment for a service I did not use and did not find valuable, I requested written confirmation that they will not attempt to renew or charge me again.

I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company proceed with extreme caution and use an ethical company.
