Fantastisk bar med luksuriøs service!
Fantastisk bar med skøn velkomst og en lækker stemning! Aldrig oplevet noget lignende.
Vi fik den bedste vibe, betjening og samtidig en unik privat stemning med jazz og lounge-dynamik og til vores intime aften.
Samtidig mens den ene efter den anden enestående cocktail blev præsenteret i topklasse - og virkelig enestående. Bare lidt mere ekstraordinært. ;)
Kommer helt sikkert igen.

Besøgte baren 3 dage i træk. Stemningen og indretningen er fantantisk gennemført. Lyden er på et niveau hvor man kan føre en samtale og stadig nyde tidens musik.
Hver en cocktail er unik med et utroligt skuestykke med røg-effekt, specielle glas m.m. Vi havde lyst til at opleve dem alle.
Sublim service! Man mødes med smil og opmærksomhed og vi håber at møde de samme ansigter næste år :)

Fedeste cocktailbar jeg har oplevet
Vi ankom til København fredag d. 5. December og jeg havde set en video af en cocktailbar som hed Curfew. Den så vildt fed ud og måtte prøves.
Det viste sig at baren lå lige overfor vores hotel og efter at have været ude at spise, så tog vi chancen og gik over til den uden en reservation. Vi blev mødt af den sødeste tjener/døråbneren. Han havde ikke lige et bord, men ville se hvad han kunne gøre, efter kort tid kom han, sagde han kunne lave et dele bord og vi kom ind i den fedeste bar så stemningsfuld, speciel og fantastisk. Som historiker elsker jeg 1920’erne/1930’erne og stedet fangede det helt ned til mindste detalje.
Vi sad sammen med et mega sødt par og fik de bedste drinks, jeg har prøvet både fordi tjenerne/bartenderne præsenterer dem så flot og fordi de er gode. Fik først Karen Blixens drinks som er så vild.
Vi endte også med at købe to af deres kop-cocktailglas, her var tjeneren så opmærksom, at han selv havde tjekket dem, men også ville have vi gjorde for om de levede op til vores forventninger. Sublim service.
Efter så god en oplevelse endte vi med at komme tilbage både lørdag (her havde vi igen igen reservation, men der blev fundet plads til os hurtigt igen) og søndag, hvor vi havde en reservation. Begge dage oplevede vi sublim, fantastisk og imødekommende service fra alle i baren. De kom flere gange mens vi sad med vores drinks og hørte om alt var godt og selv da vi bestilte chips og tjeneren tabte dem undskyldte han, fik ryddet op og kom med nogle nye.
Vi købte også en vintage punch-bowle derfra og om aftenen søndag, da jeg så kunne se hvordan den skulle stå når vi kom hjem med de cocktailglas vi havde købt herfra tidligere, tænkte jeg at et af deres kvindeglas ville være flotte dertil, men min forlovede kunne ikke se det for sig. Så jeg gik op i baren og spurgte om jeg måtte låne to glas af dem som har kop i toppen, det måtte jeg helt klart, fik dem med til bordet og opstillet så min forlovede kunne se min vison. Herefter afleverede jeg dem, så søde og hjælpsomme på alle måder.
Jeg kan kun sige at jeg har haft den allerbedste og fedeste oplevelse i Curfew og boede vi i kbh så blev det sikkert et af vores stamsteder ift. cocktailbarer.
Min oplevelse var at personalet var mega imødekommende, villige, søde og opmærksomme på alle måder. Selv om søndagen fik vi en krammer til farvel og at tjeneren ønskede vi kom tilbage til dem igen næste gang vi er i København og det gør vi helt klart.

Gode drinks men total mangel på konduite og kundeservice
I går aftes var jeg på Curfewcph @cocktailbar med 3 venner, spændende setting, men så sluttede fornøjelsen også der! 3 af af os bestilte en cocktail til 175,- den sidste valgte at sidde over, hvorefter tjeneren sagde, at reglen var at man SKULLE købe en drink i timen pr. person!! Der er en timer i lampen på bordet, så når drinks er serveret, ændrer lyset sig efter en time og så skal næste drink bestilles!
Da der SKULLE bestilles 4 genstande, bestilte vi en 1/2 liter @ vand til 75,-
Jeg udtrykte min utilfredshed, ved at sige til den udenlandske tjener, at det var en underlig regel de havde. Kort tid efter kom ejeren hen til mig og aggressivt sagde han, at han havde fået refereret,at jeg syntes deres regel om 1 drink pr time var mærkelig. Han ville bare lige pointere, at da det var hans regel, var den ikke underlig, så følg den eller gå!
Vi drak ud og kommer helt sikkert aldrig igen!!

Kan kun anbefale at man vælger en af de mange andre cocktailbarer i Cph, med gode drinks og anderledes god service.

You made a reservation for four guests for a two-hour stay, and when you booked, you accepted our reservation guidelines. These clearly state that each guest must consume two drinks during the reservation. This applies to everyone — cocktails, non-alcoholic cocktails, soda, sparkling water. You agreed to this before arriving.
When one person in your group initially refused to order anything, my waiter explained the minimum consumption politely and clarified that it could be non-alcoholic options or even sparkling water. You then ordered a water because he informed you of the policy — and immediately after, you called it “strange,” as if we were the ones doing something wrong.
Coming to my place, being hosted, and responding that way is simply disrespectful.
You calling him “the foreign waiter” is also disrespectful, and it reflects your attitude that evening — not ours.
It is also false what you write in your review.
I never said “follow it or leave it.”
What I said — exactly — was: there is a minimum consumption in my house.
That is a policy, not a personal invention.
So claiming I told you “follow or leave” is simply lying to create a narrative in your favor.
You said the policy was “strange.”
There is nothing strange about it. You had just come from a restaurant where everyone consumes and pays — the same applies here. Nothing is for free, and no one occupies seats without consuming.
You also didn’t honor your two-hour reservation or the agreed minimum consumption, and honestly, you blocked the opportunity for other guests on our waiting list — guests who respect the house and do not come in to make judgmental comments about basic policies such as one drink per hour.
And regarding your comment about “better places in Copenhagen”: if you believe so, go to them.
Curfew is a place where the rules are clear — and they are to be followed.
Skønt sted, gode cocktails - dog skrækkelig service!
Min kæreste og jeg nød en dejlig aften på Curfew, som blev ødelagt af managerens dårlige opførsel. Vi bliver bedt om at forlade vores bord 15 min. inden reservationen udløb. Jeg spørger efter to go-to kopper, da vi mangler meget af vores cocktails. Her bliver jeg grint af og får fortalt, at jeg har haft nok tid til at drikke min cocktail. Jeg fortæller, at det er første gang, jeg nogensinde har hørt dette, og responsen er jeg er meget uforskammet ("rude" er ordet, der bliver brugt), hvorefter manageren vender sig og går.
Jeg er fuldstændig i chok over, at man kan behandle sine gæster sådan. Heldigvis træder Martin, en anden ansat, til - og min ene stjerne er til ham. Martin er sød og topprofessionel. Han undskylder mange gange på sin kollegas vegne, og siger at trods travlhed skal man selvfølgelig ikke snakke grimt til sine gæster. Måske Marin skulle forfremmes til manager i stedet - han har i hvert fald forstået, hvad god service handler om. Af hjertet TAK, Martin!
Vi forlader Curfew uden en form for undskyldning fra manageren. Det er godt nok frækt. Han må hjertens gerne synes, jeg er flabet eller provokerende ved at spørge efter to-go-kopper, men en god manager sætter naturligvis sin professionalisme først og snakker pænt til gæsterne.
Jeg kan læse både her på Trustpilot og Google, at andre gæster sidder med samme oplevelse som jeg - flot sted og lækre cocktails, men en service, der kan være arrogant og nedladende Det er virkelig synd. Jeg håber, at rette vedkommende (ejer, manager osv.) vil tage dette efterretning.

Hi Klara, in your review you wrote that a manager or the owner should take your review into consideration. Let me be clear: I am the owner and bartender of Curfew, and I will address your comments directly. There is one true thing you mentioned: that you have read other reviews here with “similar cases.” That is correct — and the reason for the similarity is simple. Those reviews, like yours, come from guests who follow the same pattern of not respecting the rules of my house, of not understanding that they are guests in our house, not theirs, and of choosing to disagree with and disregard the rules that apply to everyone. And then they go to these platforms, creating their own false narratives of the experience by blaming the staff and the place.
The facts are clear: you booked a two-hour reservation with guidelines stated on our website and in your confirmation. Our manager approached you exactly 10 minutes before the next reservation was due — not 15, as you wrote (the cameras confirm this) — and politely informed you that in 10 minutes the next guests would arrive. That was a clear message that you would need to release the table in 10 minutes or so and, obviously, finish your drinks. Of course, he also had to clear the payment. The reality is that you had taken over an hour to finish your first drink, and you were still holding your second drink more than half full close to the end of your reservation. That is not on us — that is entirely on you for stretching your time without drinking. Instead of accepting this, you went on the attack with the typical tactic of accusing us of “kicking you out” and trying to play the victim. He explained this to you clearly, but you did not want to hear it, and instead you went further by telling him, “I am the guest, I pay your salary, you need to be nice.” Those words are entitled and disrespectful, and they have no place in hospitality. Guests pay for their drinks, their service, and the experience — not for the right to demean staff.
Even after that, our manager remained professional. You asked for cups-to-go — but this is not a place that serves cocktails in takeaway cups. The whole point of Curfew is that drinks are to be finished in-house, as part of the experience. Instead, he offered you a shared table to finish your drinks properly. But instead of accepting that, you chose again to argue, repeating the same false line about being “kicked out,” until he rightly walked away. As for Martin, he is our doorman and security — his job is to keep the peace and be polite as a first approach. That does not mean he took your side or apologized repeatedly, as you claimed. In fact, all he said was a neutral “sorry you feel this way” before continuing his work. And regarding your suggestion that Martin should be manager: you are not in any position to make suggestions about how I run my own place. The truth is that you created your own bad experience by not respecting a simple reservation with clear guidelines. You are not right just because you are a guest. You are a guest in my house, and in my house there are rules and respect. Because you ignored them, you are not welcome here any longer. Our manager had nothing to apologize for — he remained professional throughout, while you were the one being disrespectful and making a scene in front of other guests. Such behaviour and attitude has no place in hospitality !

Jeg har efterhånden drukket en del mocktails og kender gode cocktailbarer som serverer fantastiske mocktails i København. Curfew er desværre ikke en af dem. De var kedelige, og det smagte som om jeg drak danskvand med smag og så til 150,- stykket.

Det i skriver fortæller mig alt hvad jeg behøver at vide – nemlig at i ikke er åbne for konstruktiv kritik. Det er fair nok, men det fremstår desværre ikke særligt professionelt.

We welcome feedback, but when it lacks understanding, it needs to be addressed.
You call them mocktails — we prefer to call them non-alcoholic cocktails, because they’re crafted with the same level of care, technique, and premium ingredients as any other cocktail. The non-alcoholic spirits we use cost as much than alcoholic ones, and we use high-quality ingredients, clear ice, and serve them in a premium setting with professional service.
Describing them as “flavored sparkling water” simply shows a lack of knowledge. Non-alcoholic cocktails are naturally more subtle and don’t benefit from alcohol’s ability to bind and carry flavors. If that’s what you’re missing, perhaps you should order real cocktails next time — because alcohol does exactly that: it rounds and elevates the drink.
Taste is subjective. But if something were truly wrong, guests wouldn’t drink it — and they certainly wouldn’t keep ordering it. Not the case with us.
Focusing only on price while ignoring the quality, setting, experience, and attention to detail — from service to ambiance — is not just unfair, it’s uninformed. If other bars suit your taste better, you’re free to return to them. But posting a one-star review based on something you don’t understand says more about your perspective than our standards.

Curfew er uden tvivl et must-visit for enhver, der elsker gode cocktails og en afslappet atmosfære. Fra det øjeblik, vi trådte ind, blev vi mødt af et venligt og imødekommende personale, som gjorde alt for at få os til at føle os velkomne.
Baren har et imponerende udvalg af cocktails, og bartenderne har fuldstændig styr på hvad de laver. Jeg prøvede flere af deres cocktails og hver af dem var klart noget udover det sædvanlige.
Sidst men ikke mindst, så er indretningen og atmosfæren helt unik. Man starter med at træde ind igennem en gammel skjult dør i en bogreol på bedste Harry Potter manér, ind i et større rum hvor der virkelig er kræset om detaljerne, som ville være en Hollywood film værdigt.
Alt i alt kan jeg ikke anbefale Curfew nok. Hvis du leder efter et sted med god stemning, fantastisk service og drinks, der virkelig gør indtryk, så skal du helt klart besøge denne perle!

High class bar
Amazing space and vibe, not too loud music so you can sit and talk and relax. Professional and very skilled bartenders and incredible hosts. It’s our “go-to” bar and I never experienced anything bad or unprofessional. If people come in too drunk or get too drunk during the evening so they start interrupting other peoples nights and it gets unpleasant and annoying, the hosts step in and kindly ask these people to call it a night and go home. You really feel welcome and you can feel how it is important to the crew that you have a good evening. If you’re ever in Copenhagen, you should definitely drop a visit here.

Do NOT go here, it's an absolute waste of your time!
We ordered two drinks, and then were told we were "too drunk" to be served anymore. What a joke! We had only had two beers before arriving and were sitting quietly enjoying our drinks.
The staff were rude, unprofessional, and treated us like we didn’t belong. If you value your time and dignity, avoid this place at all costs! Absolutely appalling service.
Never going back, and I urge everyone to stay away!

3/5 The bartender gave me aloholic beer instead of non alchoholic after I already had a cocktail, which made me end up with too much alcohol in my blood n get drunk. My tolerance for alchohol is low and they should be careful what they serve customers.

When you come to such a cool place, you expect the drinks also at least to look creative, with some interesting design n garnish, not just a glass with drink n piece of jelly in it. One of the best bars in Copenhagen
One of the best bars in Copenhagen - amazing quality of drinks and really professional, authentic service.
As for the venue itself, it's certainly a standout in the City - it's very rare to experience an interior as unique as Curfew, paired with exceptional service and the highest quality drinks. Such a unique bar, it's no surprise it has an incredible reputation.
I'd always recommend Curfew - especially for dates, to take family out, or simply for an amazing after work drink. Well done, Curfew.

Unbeatable cocktail experience
Unbeatable cocktail experience. Everything from the prohibition era theme and vibe, the high level of service to the amazing cocktail is 5 stars. The cocktails are balanced beautifully and much better than the competition. The flavour profiles are unique and distinguished. I have ventured to the competition to try them out but always find myself longing for a night at curfew instead. These guys nail every aspect of cocktailing 🤌 really appreciate all the effort that goes in to such a complete experience. It’s theatrical, playful, professional and seductive 💃🏻🍹
