Mixed bag
Great service and I didn't have to commit to buying pods monthly.
I bought the light roasted, dark roasted and decaf. The coffee smelled great on opening the bags and then I realized that the smell was probably flavours that were being released and therefore potentially weakening the coffee in the pods over time. There was no way of re-sealling the bags so starting a bag of dark roasted really meant it couldn't be left for too long. The coffee was good, as good as Nespresso but at the same or similar price per pod that was to be expected. Plastic capsules are not recyclable in our area, so although they're good, I may be going back to Nespresso.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review today, as a relatively new company we really appreciate any feedback that we can use to better improve your experience :)
We do suggest that our pods will stay at their freshest out of the bag for 2 days, in an airtight container for 2 weeks and in the bag for 16 months.
Unfortunatly there are some councils that will not collect the type of plastic our pods are made from for recycling, which is a big shame and part of the reason we have developed a new 100% compostable pod!
The new compostable pod will be able to be thrown in with your everyday rubbish in its entirety making the whole ethical process effortless on your part :) The new pods will be available later on in the year so please do keep an eye out - we cant wait!

Wonderful eco friendly coffee

Great coffee and prompt service
First and foremost, their coffee is really great. Forget the numbers, I live in Italy where coffee is coffee in any bar. What counts is the roasting.
Light, dark or intense, or decaf: coffee for any time of the day. Plus it's organic AND fair trade with non-aluminium pods (biodegradable). Who could ask for more?
I was recently in London and wanted to order their starter pack for my family. They were just about to go away on holiday, but I spoke to CRU and they were so helpful. The coffee arrived in 2 days. Well done and greatly appreciated. My family really liked what they had.

I have twice ordered the coffee from CruKafe now. I am very pleased with the coffee and with the quick delivery turn around. I do find it a bit of a fiddle to empty the pods for recycling, and I can't store the pods in a large glass container as I have done with those from another company, but the quality of the coffee makes up for those inconveniences.

We are glad you are enjoying the coffee and thank you for taking the time to issue us with your feedback :)
While our current pods are recyclable, we are in the process of developing our new and evolved 100% compostable pod!
This means that once you are done with the capsule you can throw away the whole thing in its entirety - as simple as that. We hope it wont be too much longer but when we launch we will be sure to let all our customers know!
Also, please note that our pods will stay bag fresh in an airtight container for up to two weeks :)

Great service
Great service and good coffee. One problem is that the Nespresso compatible pods don't always work and you just get a cup of slightly coloured water. I have only used 4 of the pods so far and 2 I had to put through the coffee machine 3 times each before they worked. However, once they did work the coffee was good.

What a treat!

Best coffee ever for nesspreso
I love how convenient my nesspreso is but I miss the real pure coffee , with CUR my problem was solved , great coffee and very convenient to make .

Very nice
I've discovered Cru kafe by searching for a healthy chemical free decaf alternative while being pregnant and it looks and tastes like i've hit the jackpot!After having tried a few other organic decaf brands,that tasted quite acidic and less flavourous,I really appreaciate Cru Kafe now,having my favourite morning cappuccino,whithout sacrificing with the quality!I also ordered a selection of the other kinds of the Cru Kafe selection for my husband and he loved all of them,in fact,he's a total convert from Nespresso now!
