I would just like to say a huge thank you to Jemma for the help & support she gave me in my conversation today. From the very beginning, Jemma was friendly, polite & extremely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, & she genuinely went out of her way to find all the information I needed. Jemma also took the time to forward additional information that has been really useful to us for our forthcoming cruise. What really stood out to me was Jemma’s patience & empathy. You could tell that she genuinely cared about helping rather than just trying to get the conversation finished. In my opinion, Jemma is absolutely top class, & the company should be very proud to have someone like Jemma representing their business. Customer service like this makes such a difference and is sadly not something you come across every day. Thank you once again Jemma, for all your help. First Class Service
Due to change in our itinerary we had to cancel our River Cruise. From the moment we notified Cruise Nation about our decision they followed up our request promptly and efficiently and within a few days we received a full refund. Thanks to Jemma for her dedicated assistance in this matter.

I needed to change my flight at the last minute, and Kimberley did it quickly and efficiently; within 1 hr, everything was changed successfully. Whenever I've had a problem in the past, CruiseNation has never let me down, and that's true now after 28 cruises and counting.

New England and USA cruise
We booked a New England and USA cruise on Holland America’s Zuiderdam via Cruise Nation. I made it very clear we wanted a sea view cabin with absolutely no obstructions and was told by the Cruise Nation agent that this cabin had none. Our cabin 4122 was mainly obstructed by lifeboats and the balcony to our left. I immediately emailed them with photos attached and had to email repeatedly once home before I got a response. They passed the buck to HAL. Neither company would accept failing their customers. We won’t be using either company in the future. Extremely poor customer service/relations.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry that the view from your stateroom did not meet the expectations you had when booking, particularly as you had specifically requested an unobstructed sea view. We completely understand why this was disappointing.
As soon as we were made aware of your concerns, we raised the matter with Holland America Line and provided the details and photographs supplied to us. We also followed this through with their Guest Relations team for a formal review.
Following their management review, Holland America Line confirmed that stateroom 4122 was correctly categorised and does not meet their definition of an obstructed or partially obstructed view. They advised that, while lifeboats or other ship features may be visible from certain angles, the forward-facing view from the stateroom remains unobstructed and the cabin was therefore sold in accordance with the published stateroom category.
That said, we fully appreciate that the technical classification of a cabin does not change how a guest feels when the view they experience is different from what they expected. We are particularly sorry if the communication and time taken to reach a resolution left you feeling that your concerns were not being properly addressed. That was certainly not our intention.
We value your feedback and have taken your comments on board. We are sorry that your experience has left you feeling that you would not travel with Cruise Nation again, we value all of our customers and are sorry that, on this occasion, we were unable to leave you with the experience you had hoped for.

Brilliant 5 star service! Booked our cruise to Alaska with Scott M at Cruise Nation. He knew exactly want we wanted (better than ourselves) and sorted everything. So professional, so quick and made suggestions so we could get a great deal! Last minute decision by us to stay an extra night in Seattle pre cruise….no problem, and go home via Toronto…. no problem.
