The most trash listing site I've been on. Everything gets flagged for no reason. No customer service or method to contact support. Flag abuse. Spam abuse. It's a dying platform. Use Facebook Marketplace instead. At least they have a chat box to ask for help. I tried posting an ad to save a puppy by finding him a good home, but now he's going to be put in a pound because my post keeps getting flagged. Good job. Here's a suggestion. Stop having people post ads or post for free in general and have it be fully paid. Approval is by your staff and you can communicate with a support team if there's an issue. It's not that hard and your company will earn more in the long run, discern spam from real people, and increase quality. Until that happens, I'm never using it again and i will recommend everyone i meet to avoid this crap site.

Beyond horrendous. Between the endless scam calls, email and texts and the random trolls who browse it looking to lowball and play jokes wasting time, this site is dying and dying quick and now I know why. I refuse to post anything else on this trash site. They should be paying me to post a vehicle for sale for the lack of traffic looking at it and weeding through the morons.

I contacted Mike and he told me he would be there sometime during the weekend, but could not be specific. After calling him, he finally showed up on Monday morning two hours late. I have a very small yard and we agreed on a price of $60.00. When he got to my house, he told me had made a mistake and he really meant $70.00. I found him to be unreliable and he seems to be forgetful about what he tells customers. This is no way to run a business!

Craigslist has really gone downhill over the years. Postings get taken down for no reason. No customer support. I don't recommend this company.

Flagging mechanism is grossly abused with no way to review, correct or appeal. Legitimate ads are taken down in minutes or a few hours at the most with no warning just because someone can click 'flag' at the top of the page.

This not only makes the site unusable to sell or promote anything, but also severely limits the pool of legitimate offers which might be of interest to buyers.

Confidential Job Postings are a JOKE! They are phoney and you will waste you time responding to them!! NO accountability!!

Ad gets removed because trolls flag it, and it does get taken down for that reason only. No way of contacting the site. Loads of haters. Shout out to sad and desperate: Brian Leach and Jennifer Peterson.

Deserves a zero!! No accountability shown for a modern class classifieds listing. The company doesn't moderate or care about reports of scams which are WIDELY abundant on Craigslist. If you do buy in person then you best meet with the seller at a police station.. it's that bad! Stay clear!!!!!!!!!!

I only wish they had a -0 star option. This has to be the worst site in the world with a non-existing customer support. They are charging you $5 for an ad to only cancel your account and ad to say you violated a rule when you haven't and collect your money. When you call the number provide, they leave you on hold for 5 minutes to only hang up on you. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SITE! They were only good when they were featuring their non-PG female ads. WHAT A JOKE OF A SITE!

I've been on computers since 1991 and this is the most ridiculous platform I've ever come across in my life. When eBay classifieds was around or now with Facebook Marketplace you simply check off all the ads that you want to renew and it's done.

This useless outfit is so backwards that if you don't renew your ad on the day that they decide, they then delete the photographs from your ad unless you're up between approximately midnight and 3:00 a.m. California time.

Then you've got to search on your phone for the photographs, it's so backwards. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody until they update their stupid software.

After renewing five ads, at to your sixth ad it says you're renewing too rapidly. Hence my point above why not just have the person check off the ads that you want to renew when that time is coming up and renew them like Facebook Marketplace.

They also delete ads that are not offensive in any way. This has become quite common lately.

I've listed my stuff on CraigsList for a few years.
In the last few weeks, they have removed my listings, for no good reason. I create posts to sell DVDs, but then they're immediately removed.

The worse thing is that there's no way to contact a person there.

CRAIGSLIST IS THE WORST! Ad's continue to get flagged for removal, due to no reason. This has happened for years. There are no administrators to contact and no recourse.

If your credit card is not from America or Canada, forget it! This organization does not have the capacity or willingness to accept it!

They actually sold me a terrible device which was not even efficient and they also scammed me. At first, I thought that Craigslist was an amazing company. But they are real liars and totally bad scammers. Whoever who established Craigslist should be ashamed.

Replies to jobs postings used to open a new email in my email server. That way I could write to the employer. Now it merely opens my Gmail scroll or my yahoo mail scroll. I complained a week ago.

I've used craigslist for over 20yrs. It has a very primitive site, but easy to use and post.

Issue here, is the amount of lazy, weird people. Half of the people will contact u, make all sorts of communication, until you finally give your address and then u get ghosted. Seems to be happening more and more. First time your like well that was odd, u contact them back and nada. After a few more times, your like well.. they aint showing and then move on.

I got a top 4 encounters from my experience with CL.

1. god forbid u try to sell old adult magazines.. the creeps come out in droves. Want to know what's good spank material, what will get their "juices" flowing.. eyeroll.. had one guy who wanted a stack of magazines, got my address and then never showed.. infact he called me by the previous owners name of my house when I already established my name.. was very odd.

2. Another time I was selling a stereo.. person contacted me.. wanted like 1/2 off, then contacted me on FB market place.. same deal.. then he went back to me on CL, told me somebody stole my pictures and posted the same ad to FB then accused me of playing games when I said I was selling the same item on 2 different platforms.

3. Posted a like new belt sander from Harbor freight.. posted it for like $10.. got some guy who sent me a nasty email.. telling me i'm full of dookie to even think I could get $10 for a harbor freight item. Infact he wanted to come over and beat me in the head for trying to con people into buying harbor freight garbage.. eyeroll

4. Posted some used car mats.. like new weather techs.. got some guy who started off ok.. but I didn't respond for like an hour and he sent me the most disgusting messages.. calling me a cheap N person(im white).. told me he was going to find out where I live and knife me..

Point of these encounters.. is you do have to know what your doing with people.. I swear people are bored and this is the price you pay for "Free" ad services. Granted.. I havent had nearly the amount of drama on FB as CL.. but FB u have a profile and it's a little more personable. Here on CL.. u dont know whos on the other end.. in fact.. even if a communication is going swell... sometimes you can tell how somebody is, i've stopped communication if I get creep vibes.. its just not worth it.

Just be smart..

I've actually been struggling with CL lately.. not sure what's going on.. but if it isn't lazy weirdo's it's bots and if it isn't bots.. its nothing..

Just know what your doing on there and you'll be fine.. people are strange..
