Fantastic service everything explained clearly

I wanted to take the time to write this review because, although we initially had a very disappointing experience, I feel it is equally important to recognise someone who went above and beyond to put things right.

My husband’s genuine hearing aids had unfortunately been sent through the post by the external audiologist who visits customers at home, and they were lost. We were then provided with a demo pair instead, which was understandably very upsetting and frustrating for us.

I left a negative review because of what had happened, and this is where Adam at Countrywide Hearing stepped in.

Adam had not previously been aware of what had happened, but as soon as he became aware of the situation, he contacted me the very next day. He spoke directly with the audiologist, who acknowledged that a demo pair had indeed been provided to us.

What impressed me most was that Adam didn’t simply apologise and leave it there. He genuinely took ownership of the situation and wanted to make sure that my husband received what he should have had in the first place.

Adam arranged for my husband to receive a brand-new pair of hearing aids, and he also offered custom ear moulds, which normally cost around £200–£300, completely free of charge. He was incredibly understanding, apologetic and reassuring throughout.

Today was my husband’s fitting, and what really touched me was that Adam actually rang afterwards to check that everything had gone well and that we were happy. That small gesture meant a lot because it showed that he genuinely cared about the outcome rather than simply considering the matter closed.

I have to say, Adam has completely changed my impression of Countrywide Hearing. Mistakes and problems can happen, but what matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. Adam listened, took action, put things right and followed everything through personally.

I am extremely grateful to him for the kindness, professionalism and care he showed us. He really is a credit to Countrywide Hearing, and I sincerely hope the company recognises what a valuable member of their team he is.

Referred to Countrywide after claiming for my Mum’s lost hearing aid via her Aviva house insurance policy.
The process was so straightforward, really clearly explained by Niall T. He even contacted the hearing aid supplier directly to check some required details. The claim was quickly approved.
The referral then to a local audiologist was within days of claiming, and the replacement hearing aids ordered and fitted within a week, with a home visit to Mum!
Really impressed !
I have since called back to see about next year’s insurance, which is soon due for renewal and Craig was super helpful again.

Countrywide Hearing were extremely helpful and Niall Thomas there was very understanding when my mum lost her hearing aid. She was quickly put in touch with a local audiologist who was also very helpful and she now has a new hearing aid. What could have been a long and protracted process was made very easy though this first class service.

We were connected with Countrywide Hearing via our insurance company. The team were incredible, polite, knowledgeable and guided us through the process and consistently followed up at each step.
