I bought a washer dryer and paid for a Saturday delivery, I made sure I waited in so I didn't miss it and incur a fee. I then got a call to say my order had been cancelled as they had trouble finding my post code in the sat nav (new build development) which is fair enough but they hadn't even set off yet or tried to find me!! I had received a delivery from Ikea 3 days previous who found me fine, and called when they were near to make sure they have found the right place (example of good customer service). I then re-ordered the washer dryer to be delivered to my parents address, again waited in and when the driver had got to me, they hadn't even put the washer dryer on the delivery truck!! Three weeks now without a washer dryer absolutely SHOCKING service. Avoid at all costs.

I bought a BEKO DHY7340W Tumble dryer in February. It did not work at all! They sent a replacement and that didn't work either. Not their fault! Its BEKO's lack of quality control that is lacking.
My issue with the CO-OP is that they refused to check the third one before sending it. Surely two faulty appliances of the same make and model should trigger alarm bells in their own quality department???
I wonder how many more faulty ones would they send out to other customers before someone would take any action?
Apart from this the third one was delivered to the wrong house and on phoning the driver, he suggested that I go and collect it from the other house as it wasn't very heavy! I am not sure that I would agree that 48kg is not very heavy. Strange thing is that it took two of them to deliver it!!!!
CO-OP helpline staff were always very friendly, but as with BEKO staff not at all knowledgeable about the products they sell. I was not offered any compensation for the losses incurred with time of work and phone calls etc. It also took a long time to get a refund which took another phone call to resolve. Not a great first experience with BEKO and the CO-OP!!!!

I bought my tv on the 3rd April digihome 49" 4k tv the television is faulty I spoke to co op customer service on Saturday 14 th April to state I would like to return the tv only had it less than 14 days and my money back they said it was a extra charge of £35.00 to pick up the tv absolute
scam although the item is faulty poor picture quality jumps on and off the internet I am absolutely disgusted and I am now going to have to go through trading standards I would not recommend that anybody buys a tv even though the tv seems a good deal at the time due !!!!!

Do not purchase from Co-op electrical. Take your money and offer no customer support st all! They are not interested!! Bought a £750 coffee machine and within a few weeks it stopped working, tried endlessly to get through and could only get an answer on the sales line. Once speaking to a staff member they promised, or several occasions a manager would ring back, no one did. Disgusting service! Avoid , avoid, avoid. Bought from them as I thought the Coop brand would be friendly and offer good servuce. WRONG!!!

I only ordered a Fridge Freezer from co-op as they were they only website that was offering a Saturday delivery at short notice (less than 48 hrs). I read the reviews on here first and was absolutely dreading it as I live on a first floor flat with narrow stairways. I had already set myself up for disappointment. The delivery was booked for 7.41am to 8.41am and 2 young lads turned up on the dot and they took the fridge freezer straight up the stairs to my flat - no pausing or comments about the stairs they just did it - they were absolutely hilarious too and put a massive smile on my face. They took my old fridge freezer no fuss, no moaning whatsoever. They had great sense of humour and it was all done in less than 5 mins. Had I not read the reviews here first I would not have bothered leaving a positive review. But felt I had to, as I don't want anyone else to be put off ordering. Don't get me wrong this is a no frills service - no fancy lorry or van. And yes in light of previous comments you may get a bad experience, but mine was a good one. No one else was offering a Saturday delivery in my area (AO, Currys, John Lewis, Boots, Argos, Appliances Direct etc etc) so co-op won hands down purely by delivery date and not price. When your fridge breaks down and you can't get a day off work during the week a Saturday delivery at short notice is everything.

Terrible service for fridge freezer. Ordered a fridge freezer and booked a delivery slot a week later. Received an email the night before delivery specifying the hour for delivery, which never turned up. I rang the company a couple of hours later and they said they tried to deliver and that no one answered the door and my number was off engaged. This was not true, there was someone sat by the door with phone in hand, not on any calls, waiting for the delivery. There was no notification from them so I spent the whole night waiting only to be lied to about the delivery. They could not commit to a specific redelivery time so I was forced to cancel my order, as could not afford to organise having someone at the property during the day a second time. Have had to order from elsewhere, and left without a fridge or freezer for two weeks as a result. I expected much better from Coop.

I ordered a washing machine from co-op electrical, got it a decent price with connection and removal of the old appliance. Drivers were pleasant and arrived within the agreed time slot. Only contacted the customer service team once to add a contact number but it wasn't necessary. I couldn't have asked for anything more, read reviews here first some seem a little harsh. Would use again.

I ordered my washer dryer and was told delivery was 3 days but they were great due to bad snow couldnt deliver until following week they called me straight away even offering to refund delivery charge which i declined as wasnt there fault ill be ordering from them in future as there deluvery charge is not as high as ao.com

Shame on you Co-Op for sending your drivers out in weather like this - Shame on you for putting a washing machine before your drivers safety - ( n let’s not forget the drivers mate, other road users n pedestrians) Despicable but never the less typical of the Co-Op !

Beware of warranty period, I bought the optional 3 year warranty, expecting 3 years on top of the manufacturers guarantee, when I received my warranty certificate it appears that the manufacturers 1 year guarantee is included in the 3 years warranty.

I was really happy with my purchase. It was a reasonable price and customer service was good.
The expected date of delivery was missed, however, the customer services called to apologise and offered me a small refund as a good will gesture.
I am very happy with my experience.

Steer well clear. I bought a £500 Zanussi dryer from them. Legally they are responsible for its guarantee as being free from manufacturing faults once the warranty has expired, but an out is that you must prove the fault is a manufacturing fault.

I 'phoned them with the problem when the dryer broke down at 18 months age, having had only light winter use by a couple. They demanded an engineer's report. I procured this for £35 from a local engineer advertising himself as Zanussi competent, but was told it had to come from Service Force, an Electrolux/Zanussi company. They diagnosed, for 35 pounds, a fault with the printed circuit board, the PCB. As I was not keen to be exposed to their unhelpful attitude again, I opted to pay for this part, even though it was a user inaccessible, non-moving part. They changed this for £100+£35 diagnostic fee, but this made no difference. They then diagnosed a problem with the compressor unit, another user inaccessible part with no-moving elements, and estimated a £300 pound repair bill.

At this point, given the costs, I again telephoned, as per consumer law, the Co-op store. They first claimed that they had offered to provide me with the appropriate referral number for Service Force (SF), which was untrue, they then said because their recommended SF could not decide on a diagnosis they could do nothing! Then, my having demolished these arguments, they claimed the problem had arisen through "wear and tear", doubtless through contemplating their navels.

Given this gross avoidance of responsibility, I went direct to Zanussi/Electrolux who agreed to supply a new dryer without a peep of complaint. This was even though they had no responsibility to make reparations. So, whatever you do, save yourselves a bucketful of trouble and buy elsewhere.

Certainly buy Zanussi, but not through the Co-op.

Received my washing machine paid for insterlation the delivery people installed it put it on quick wash kept pausing filling up pausing a said it’s nnot draining he pressed the abort button and said now it is so every time I use my washer I have to hold the button down to let it drain I refused to sign the delivery receipt he stated I had to and he noted on receipt only drained when pause button held this is not fit for prepose 2 week off having to hold the pause button down on every wash so it empty’s not happy at all I will be seeking a refund or replacement

Returned a faulty Samsung TV 26/11/17 (faulty BLUETOOTH module/wouldn’t pair to smart remote common issue) after waiting 25 mins for them to pick up the phone on 3/1/18 they confirmed they had received the return and give me some BS about it was missed off the “report” so the refund was not issued. It got me in a bit of a mess with my credit card and they couldn’t care less!

I honestly can hand on heart say that I have not had a worse experience as a customer and I trusted CO-OP ELECTRICAL because they are a “cooperative”, don’t make the same mistake as me. When they collected the return I was on an errand and my 11yr old son was home alone. I told him to tell the delivery guys to wait for me to get home,if they came, as I was just round the corner. Well they did turn up and insisted to my 11yr old son to give them the TV and got my 11yr old son to sign their iPad!

P.S. Beware of Samsung 6 series LED TVs. Samsung appear to be dumping faulty stock in the UK. They are poor quality ‘VA panels” and have bricked Bluetooth modules that can’t connect to Samsung smart remotes.

Bought a TV. After one month the screen broke. contacted customer service who basically gave me the run around for MONTHS until conveniently for them, my warranty ran out. then they finally responded with "at the time of the first emails we would have been able to help but now unfortunately that option is not available to us"!!!!!!!!! - they gave me the run around for 10 months.....

will be reporting to trading standards.

The delivery arrived 2 hours late and I can understand why. The driver was adamant he was outside my house and despite checking twice I told him he must be in the wrong street. I got him to check the street name on the road side and low and behold, he was in the wrong street. Somehow it took them another 10 minutes to travel 200m. And to top it off, the dishwasher was damaged as it had clearly been dropped at some point as the side panel was bent!

I had an awful experience with CO-OP Electrical, bought a fridge freezer and came three hours late (only went with them for the 60 min time slot) and was damaged on arrival. Called up and they explained I could keep the scratched machine, which was not due to drivers who carefully unpacked item, with compensation of £30 or have a new one delivered in two days time. Baring in mind we were waiting on this to be able to move into our first owned home with two children in time for Christmas, this was awful for us. Decided to have it delivered again- BIG MISTAKE. Didn't even arrive, cancelled order. DON'T USE CO-OP ELECTRICAL.

AVOID customer service is so poor bought a smart tv they hiked the price up while my product was in my basket prior to this then once paid i relised they over charged me.

Contacted customer service they are no help in the slightest to make amendment and resolve the issue.

Never going to use coop for anything total joke of a company.

In getting a new kitchen done, I identified a nice Belling Range Cooker that was ideal. To ensure that it would come in time I rang up, and whilst I was on the phone they rang Belling and confirmed that the cooker was in stock and would be dispatched within 5 - 10 days. 8 days later, with the kitchen nearly ready for a cooker I rang up to chase the cooker as hadn't heard nothing. I then got told the earliest delivery would be 18 Jan 18! I can't believe I didn't get any notification of the change delivery date and left me with 48hrs to find a different cooker - thankfully curry's stepped up to the mark.

Recently brought Miele WKB 120 washing machine from the Co-op and paid for additional three year warranty. Then discovered that the machine already came with a five year warranty. My mistake completely but the Co-op refunded the difference immediately I pointed out my error.

I was given a one hour time slot for delivery and delivery was on time.

Delivery staff were great, they pointed out some very minor damage to the packaging and a corresponding very minor scratch, 3mm, at the rear of the cabinet, that would never be seen. I was perfectly willing to accept the machine as it was but the delivery guy filled in some forms contacted Co-op and without my asking I was given a £40 discount.

I spoke to Co-op staff a couple of times on the phone, they always picked up within a very reasonable time frame and the staff were polite and knowledgable.

All in all MY experience was exactly what you would want when dealing with a top notch on line retailer.
