My experience at Coding Dojo has been great thus far! I've learned a ton of programming knowledge in a super short amount of time, all thanks to the way that the in-class time is structured and the written material and practice exercises are written.

I got my black belt on the first try, I definitely had to work for it though. I pushed myself and studied continuously for over a week, completing one of each of the required assignments per day and doing the optional belt prep assignment as well. I cancelled my plans for my three-day weekend and spent the whole weekend studying instead- it looks like my hard work did pay off! I feel like my instructor did prepare me and gave me the materials to get a black belt on the exam. The TA's and my instructor have all been amazing and super helpful with answering my questions and going over my code with me. There are a lot of resources to help but ultimately your success is dependent on you putting the necessary pressure on yourself to learn and practice the material. I am satisfied with how much I have learned so far and look forward to honing my skills even more in the personal project.

Great material and program (accelerated online) overall. Great experience, great projects, vast opportunity for fingers-to-the-keyboard programming with practical work. CodingDojo is going through a few transitions that DID make things a bit rough at times - namely their learning platform and their communication platform. Could have used a bit longer in planning and vetting potential issues prior to the migration, but overall still very positive and I can definitely recommend.

I submitted a form in April and had no follow up until 60 days later, in June. They did not answer any of my questions or tell me the amount which I will receive as a refund, instead they sent me a "receipt" pdf that I could not open or preview. Because it was suspicious I did not download it but ran a scan on it instead... which the result reported it as possibly malicious. I am waiting to hear a response from them.

Coding Dojo part time online is a great learning platform for those working unusual hours. I was able to keep going and learning even when shifting from one work schedule to another.

As a Dallas student, the experience in the beginning with the regional instructors was great (Web fundamentals and Python), however, the Dallas teacher experience was quite different in a bad way. Only 1 teacher and 1 assistant (instead of access to 4 teachers and 8 or so TA's), and the Dallas teacher was considerably less informative/helpful/competent than previous teachers were, and there's no way around being assigned to them.

Highly recommend Coding Dojo...If you're not in Texas.

I am well pleased with my experience at Coding Dojo. The curriculum is relevant to the current job market. Also, the learning platform is really good. I never had a bad experience with any instructors or TAs, they were always prompt to help me when I asked and did a good job explaining things. The school does not pull any punches when it comes to telling us how rigorous the course will be, I had plenty of days where I felt overwhelmed and exhausted and even thought this wasn't for me. However, if you just don't quit and follow their guidance on knowing when to research on your own and when to ask for help, I think anyone can be successful here. Just make sure you show up ready to work.

An excellent Bootcamp that I am so happy to have joined. Lot's of information and guidance on the journey to becoming a full stack developer. The Career Services is absolutely invaluable, and it builds my confidence that I will land the job of my dreams. I HIGHLY recommend Coding Dojo!

As the title states the programs do exactly what they say they set out to do I am in the online full-time program and impressed with it so far. I still have 1 stack to go. But so far I have completed final projects for both Python and Java and black belted in both. The learning platform and the instructors are very good in showing you the basics of that language. It fits people of various learning speeds too. If you are slower to learn they will do the best they can to help you keep up with the pace, but if you're more advanced and get ahead then there are many resources given to you to learn things above and beyond the basics. You are very encouraged to collaborate with fellows in your cohort and it helps greatly during crunch time before the belt exams. The only disclaimers I have is that it can be a grueling work pace to keep up with everything and though you can collaborate you are expected to complete each assignment or test on your own. So the resources are there for you, but you have to be committed to getting it done. The only downside I have found so far is that TAs and Instructors are not always helpful when it comes to things that aren't on the platform or within the curriculum. When doing projects or researching something that interests you and it's beyond the scope of whatever stack you are in don't expect much help in learning it and understanding it from the staff. Get good at finding solutions to errors online. Career Services has been helpful in leading me on the job search too and preparing me for after the bootcamp ends. Overall It was worth it to me.

CodingDojo has been an awesome experience. Everyone progresses at their own pace and I'm super grateful that the team at CD was very supportive throughout my time in the program. I started the program August 31st and got through the HTML/CSS portion with ease. Shortly after that, halfway through the MERN stack, I had a family emergency that forced me to miss lectures and fall behind. The staff at CD was very helpful and able to get me into another cohort the following month. As a full-time employee at my job, I again found myself in a predicament and was not able to fully commit my time and energy to my own education. I got to the exam and did not feel prepared to take it, so I reached out to my instructor, Kevin Udink, and he helped me get setup with his cohort the following month. This would be my third time attempting to learn the MERN stack. I was discouraged and frustrated, but I was able to meet with Kevin a few times for some extra help & adjust my work schedule to dedicate time to lectures and studying. Kevin is a great instructor and really takes his time going over the material. No way I could have made it through this program without his help. I passed my exam yesterday, and I guess the saying "third time's a charm" is true in my case. Thank you to everyone at CD for their help. Excited to see what happens in my next chapter!

This is quite an interesting journey. CodingDojo pushes and stretches your learning capability helping your brain to develop programming skills.

The Coding Dojo instructor team is great. They are knowledgeable experts with real-world experience.

There is ample access to TAs and Instructors after-hours and on weekends.

There is a great, professionally managed, alumni community that offers training opportunities, job leads, and advice on coding challenges. It's a hidden benefit of completing this challenging, but worth-the-time program.

Material presented in cleared and straight to the point manner. Love that we jump right in to coding and development. Great instructors and TA's who really care about the material and the students' success.

It was great 14 weeks. It was very challenging and intense for sure. However, I really glad that I chose Coding Dojo to learn Python, Java, and MERN stacks.

I do not have a CS background, but I always wanted to learn how to code, and was worth it. If you want to change your life and learn new skills, check out Coding Dojo.

The overall experience while at the bootcamp was a positive one. The instructors were knowledgable and always willing and able to help. As far as the content and support during the program it was wonderful. I found the career support at the location I attended to be lacking. HOWEVER, I have recently reconnected with the Career Services and it looks like they have made some major improvements to their level of support so I am looking forward to seeing how I can finally break into the industry with their help.

Great learning experience -- and great experience overall! I very much miss the community built up during the bootcamp. Instructors provide a lot of support, the digital platform offers clear instruction, and there is always room to level up if material is review. I came in with zero coding experience and walked away building applications.

It was a great experience overall instructors had incredible knowledge and really assisted in showing and teaching the platform in a professional manner.

I highly recommend this boot camp. It taught me more than I expected. They have amazing employees that are always there to help. By the end of this experience I felt I had made more than friends, I made colleagues. They offer a number of technologies and you can get through the learning stages and off to the work place quickly. It was well worth my time.

An intense program in which they really teach you to program in three different languages in 14 weeks, with first-rate teachers. What I learned the most was to get out of my comfort zone and to think outside the box. I learned to learn and to be always curious to know more. Despite being an online program, the level of demand is incredible and the teachers are always available to answer questions and help you.
