Can't fault them. They handled my case professionally and promptly. There seems to be some reviews on here from people who don't realise these things require commitment but it's five out of five from me! Keep up the good work!!

This company is fine when you are paying money in, when you run into financial difficulties they go in for the kill. I am going to lose my house because they are going to make me bankrupt. Because my house is on a mortgage they can do this . After 3 years of paying into a plan that takes more for the company than they pay to the creditors I truly wish I hadn't even bothered. They prey on people who are under great stress and don't know where else to turn. They tell you all sorts of things to get your business, and then put on paper something completely different. Never , ever assume that they are doing this for your own good, they are not. They are only interested in profit, at your expense.

Since my first contact through citizens advice bureau, I have been treated with respect and care. I became in debt through a failed marraige, and low income. Clear debt didnt judge or patronise they just listened, worked out a plan to suit my need and then went to wprk with my creditors. I am a lot happier now thanks to clear debt.

Very patient staff and helped me a lot in a stressful time

At the beginning I was given all the support and helped every step of the way but since signing into the IVA I have left serveral messages no one calls me back. I have been in the IVA 5 months and still getting debt letters which I forwarded on to clear dedt told all is fine and nothing to worry about yet I am still receiving threats by letter and calls. Once again I have begged for someone to contact me and no one has I have now tried other avenues such as emails and plan to write in. I was promised I quote of your website:
•Freeze interest and charges on all your unsecured debts
•Stop unwanted contact from your creditors
Yet creditors have continued to charge interest on the account and have been contacting me by phone calls, emails and threating letters. I am left distressed and with nowhere to turn.

They r ok seem to do what they say but could b better with updates to how things r going with ur account that sort of thing just send u an email once a month something like that

Thanks to the team at clear debt who were so great and understanding with my debt problems it was nice to be treated like a normal person after all the hassle and abuse off creditors. I would totally recommend anyone who is in financial trouble like I was to approach the clear debt team who are so professional in every way thanks again to all involved in my case and helping me set up my IVA

My money problems had become so bad I was depressed an suffering every day with worry and fear , but now I've used clear debt my mind is clear .

I had been with a debt management company for 4 years before joining Clear debt and in the 2 months i have been with clear debt i have felt me secure and at ease than at any time with my previous debt management company i would say if your are in debt just give them a call you have nothing to lose and everything to gain GO FOR IT

I was introduced to Abacus (Cleardebt) by the Council Tax Advice agency (who has also been great!!). My advisor has been open, honest and nothing but helpful with my obtaining a debt relief order (Dro). A Dro isn't for everyone but it was my best option and my advisor explained how I could get one under my own steam, and why they charged a bit extra. They speak to all your creditors... basically, they take away the majority of the hard work! Well worth it, in my opinion.

My advisor also explained that there were other organisations registered to carry out this work and he advised me to have a think and come back to him if I wanted to. It was that level of honesty that made me stick with them!

Being in debt is a worrying, stressful and often desperate situation that this company didn't exploit in ANY way at all. They even allowed me to pay my fee in instalments.

Cleardebt work for the creditors, not you...so be careful. Just because you are in an IVA doesn't mean they are there for your best interests.

i would recommend clear debt to anyone as the people work hard and give you 100% to help you. its took a massive weight off my shoulders and stress free which has giving me a better happy family life. Thanks to clear debt i can get on with my life as normal and give my children a little bit more a massive thank you from me and my children.

from the moment I spoke to clear debt I felt confident that they were the right people to help me sort out my debt problems .and that is how it has worked out I am now in an I v a and on the path to clearing my debt completely in 5 years .it was so simple and they talked me through every step of the way .I would say they were excellent.

I was put at ease straight away that my financial situation could be sorted and was given good advice from my first initial phone call, the process was very easy and clear debt helped every step of the way and I would highly rrecommend this company to family and friends.

A few years ago Cleardebt was recommended to me by a debt advisor, at the time my hours were reduced at work and savings were spent up to cover my overheads. At this time Cleardebt was really helpful with great customer service. I've been on the IVA for over 2 years now, they've always been helpful during this time. Whats upset me with the IVA is that i had a unsecured loan for £10000 on this IVA, my name has now come off that mortgage but it seems to make no difference with my IVA, when i ask my advisor about this, he doesn't help and just says the other creditors will be paid more. I've even worked it out and gave them the figures which clearly says what i owe and am paying a lot more. Seems to me by removing this debt has been more hassle than its worth, it cost me solicitors fees etc to remove my name from the unsecured loan, when i ask be for this my advisor did say it would be reduced but now i just get patronising emails with different answers every time. i can't help but feel i'm being ripped off! They've also said that i should have received my yearly review but nothing has come through the post apart from a ppi form, which i've sent back and seems to be lost. says it all really

would like to be kept up to date on any changes , other wise OK so far.
