"You have been erased".
Two people - Carnitas Bowl and a Barbacoa Burrito plus a Mexican Coca Cola equal $40.59.
Extra charge of $2.85 for Guacamole for each dish, plus the extra we ordered. Tablespoon of Queso Blanco for each dish at $1.70. And the salad - where was the lettuce?
The Guacamole and the Queso Blanco should be part of the dish no extra charge. Fixed incomes and your prices do not mix.
We can and will eat at the mom and pop local restaurant for less including tip from this day forward.
As Arnold Schwarzenegger quoted in the movie "The Eraser" - Chipotle - you have been erased.

Small meat portions
Small meat portions. Had to pay extra for a normal meat portion. Did not offer a recipe. Did not ask if I have rewards and so scan my app. No one smiles. Act like robots in a hurry. No eye contact or friendliness whatsoever!
Has anyone successfully contacted…
Has anyone successfully contacted Chipotle management? I have been unable to file a complaint regarding the Chipotle on Highway 138 in Conyers, Georgia. Their "Contact Us" and feedback form directs you to a list of questions, which makes me wonder if they genuinely care about hearing from the public.
Today was the last straw for me! While Chipotle prices continue to rise, the quality and customer service have dramatically declined. What makes matters worse is the behavior of their employees. They do not smile, are often rude, and sometimes fail to speak clearly.
On April 12, 2025, at around 3:30 p.m., an employee wearing a mask wouldn’t even raise her voice to ensure we could hear her. To top it off, she messed up my order. This is unacceptable! Who is the manager, and what is happening with their staff training?
The price of a meal is skyrocketing, yet they can't even get the orders right. When it comes to the meat, the portions are minimal, and asking for guacamole, which costs extra, results in barely a dollop on the spoon.
I am a baby boomer, and we took pride in our work, especially as teens/young adults. It seems that many of the people working in fast food are primarily under 20 or in their early 20s. Many do not share that same work ethic. When they serve customers, they act as if they are doing us a favor, and then they have the nerve to ask for tips for merely doing their jobs.
I’ve had enough—I’ll keep my $30!

I ordered a salad and went to pick it up. It was a burrito instead. I took the bag back in the store and they said there were 2 Chris’s and the other person must have grabbed the wrong bag. However the bag I picked up said salad. The young lady said not to worry and fixed the salad. I notice she did not put the side of guacamole in the bag so I asked her about it she said there was no guacamole on the order. I told her it was and the gentleman said no there wasn’t without even looking at my order. Then she said we will give it to you anyway. As I left the store I pulled up my order and took a picture of it. It clearly states guacamole. I guess they weren’t paying attention to my order. Not to mention the store was empty.
I’ve been a regular at the Chipotle in…
I’ve been a regular at the Chipotle in Rivermark Plaza, Santa Clara, visiting a couple of times a month. While the food generally tastes good, the portion sizes are disappointingly small—more like kid-sized servings than a satisfying meal. On my last visit, I had to repeatedly ask the employee (a lady, possibly Indian) for a larger portion, but she seemed indifferent to customers’ requests and didn’t care about providing good service. To top it off, when I got home, I found a piece of fat as an "extra meat" in my bowl instead of the beef I ordered. It’s clear the staff here aren’t well-trained, and the service quality has seriously declined. Because of this experience, I’ve cut back from a couple of visits a month to maybe once every few months. Chipotle needs to step up their game at this location.

I had a terrible experience with a Chipotle gift card purchased online. After a single use, my $100 card was rendered useless. The store manager acknowledged this as a common problem and directed me to corporate, who offered no resolution whatsoever. I strongly advise against buying their online gift cards and doing business with them, as they seem unreliable. I'm thankful I didn't invest in their stock.
Chipotle offers the perfect alternative…
UPDATE: Although I have contacted Chipotle repeatedly about the issues described, no corrective action or apology has been issued. Now that I have chosen to make my experience public, Chipotle is actively engaging me. This substantiates my claim that value and quality aren't the goals, only the perception of value and quality is sought by this organization.
Chipotle offers the perfect alternative for individuals that don't want to eat poisonous food. It's not organic, however a salad bowl offers high fiber and high protein that has a lot of flavor and a great deal of options.
Things I have to avoid in order to feel well include grains, processed oils, msg and hidden sugar content. There aren't many places that offer this particular combination of advantages without charging way too much.
Until recently, as a single working male, I spent a small fortune at Chipotle, in particular, the Burlington WA and the Smokey Point location near my place of work. I don't have time to prepare meat and keep fresh salad on hand because it's just me. While, the prices are quite high for a dish that is by volume, mostly beans and rice, it was worth it for me simply because of the long hours I spend working.
There has been some buzz recently about patrons recording video when they order at chipotle, simply because they wouldn't get a good portions unless they did. While this is something isn't really worth it for me to do, I have had to face the realization that profiteers like chipotle aren't interested in providing value, but they are heavily invested only in the perception of value.
I find this notion to be a bit sickening and even after contacting customer service with my own experiences with receiving cold meat and recently, just a couple of tablespoons of meat, the incentive is clear. Chipotle wants the appearance of providing quality/value without the responsibility to actually produce it.
The hubris is this. Your hungry, you go into a Chipotle that charges upwards of $15-20 for one meal if you want meat and guac. They pay their employees a meager and frankly stingy hourly rate. Yet the at the employees digression, they are allowed to serve you a portion of meat that can only be described as an "imperceptible serving". If you question it, it doesn't matter if the employee has worked at the location for 5 minutes or 5 years, the answer is always the same. "That is the correct portion of meat and you must pay extra for more.".
They have some kind of "slight of perception" that they often do with serving sizes as well. I'm certain that they are trained to do this with the sauces. They load up a full ladle then proceed to pour just a small fraction of it onto your meal forcing you to ask for more. If they are so concerned that you may only want a teaspoon of sauce instead of a ladle full, why don't they simply grab a small amount upfront? I once received a portion of rice that was so small, it would be easiest measured by counting the grains of rice. When I visit chipotle right at opening time, I have to choose an alternative meat, the steak is literally and consistently as cold as it would be if they just went and retrieved it out of the fridge. I would argue that this huge health code violation.
I can't speak for other locations, however as for the Burlington location and the Smokey point location I am no longer a patron. When I reported very small serving sizes on dozens of visits to the corporate customer service, they offered me a buy one get one free and proposed no corrective action. The employees are rude and unrelenting if you dare question the portion of meat that is offered. On one occasion I received a portion of shredded beef that was so miniscule, I was astonished that the employees didn't' correct it, it was without exaggeration two compacted level tablespoons worth. I walked out.
Chipotle has shown that they don't care about customers, they care about profit.
Chipotle Went Downhill
Smaller portions, higher prices, and they’re always outta something. Food’s rushed and sloppy. Used to be great, now it’s just meh.
Falling Off Bad
Chipotle used to hit different, but now? Portions smaller, prices higher, and service is just straight up bad. Staff always seem annoyed, rush you, and half the time the order’s wrong. Food be cold or sloppy, like they don’t even try. Ain’t worth it no more.

HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE! This wouldn't be the first time this happened so I'm finally speaking out. These people do not throw out the chips at the end of the day. They must recycle them and keep them on the shelf for 2-3 weeks. I ordered tacos to go with a side of guac tonight and got home to the worst STALE CHIPS I have ever had. Of course I couldn't enjoy the side of guac I purchased to dip the chips in since the chips were so disgusting. I called the Walnut Creek, CA store on Locust St. to talk with the manager however I only got the corporate customer service call center in some foreign country and talked with "Jericho" who was absolutely awful toward me. He couldn't find it in his heart to compensate me for the chips and guac; just the chips. I am disgusted. This company reported $2.8 billion in just the fourth quarter of 2024. This was an increase of 13.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023. This company is obviously doing very well for themselves but somehow are too cheap to throw in a side of guac for a very unsatisfied customer who was given a poor quality product and ALSO treated badly by "Jericho" in customer service. They have no shame.
Never Again
Order is ready 15 minutes after pick up time, and they always mess up the order. Today my chicken burrito has no chicken... Is anyone from management reading these habitually terrible reviews, or has everyone at this company completely checked out? Maybe they figure people are less likely to get food poisoning if they just stop putting their rancid meat in items? This was my last trip to Chipotle. Bridge burned..
What a RIP-OFF
What a RIP-OFF. I would give it negative 5 if I could! Spent over $60 for three burritos that each had maybe two tea-spoon fulls of meat, and exorbitant price on the whole thing and any other condiments you can dare to add. Next time, I'll go to a reputable restaurant, which will definitely result in much less or lesser price, and far better quality!

Hit or miss
Chipotle can be a hit or miss depending on the location. Some places have fresh ingredients, good portions, and friendly service, while others can be inconsistent in quality and cleanliness. It really depends on where you go. Overall, it’s a decent option for a quick meal, but experiences may vary.
Kansas City Northland Chipoltles
We have 2 Chipotles in Kansas City North, both of which have gone completely downhill in food prep.
Today I ordered a side of guacamole and it’s color was dark forest green so I couldn’t eat it. The rice was soggy and the chicken no longer tastes like it was grilled — it just tastes like boiled chicken — no flavor. The people working there are obviously not following food prep instructions. 5 years ago this was my favorite to go restaurant, but now I will have to stop eating there.
Mistake on online order.
