China Odyssey Tours were excellent
China Odyssey Tours made excellent arrangements for our party of four when we toured Shanghai and Beijing. The guides were excellent and the transfers from our cruise ship to our hotel and other transfers to hotels, airports and trains were smooth and stress free.

My son and I booked a 12 day tour with Odyssey Tours visiting Beijing, Xi’an, Zhangjiajie, Changsha, Guilin, Yangshuo and Shanghai. Had an amazing time. Made more so by their wonderful tour guides all of whom we could easily communicate in perfect English, very patient and helpful, and explained in detail all the historic sites we visited, making us feel so at home with their friendliness.

Makes travelling easy
My husband and I think very highly of China Odyssey Tours. Their consultant Shelly has planned 3 China trips for us and all have exceeded our expectations (the latest to Harbin for the Ice Festival and Chengdu for the pandas was an absolute highlight of our trips to China). I tell anyone who will listen about them and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who wants to travel to China to use them. I understand they also organise tours to other countries and although we have never used them for anything other than China, I assume they do a fantastic job for those countries as well.

Odyssey Exceeded all Expecations
We were and are absolutely delighted with the custom itinerary and services provided by Maple, our travel consultant, and Odyssey Tours. Our tour included all the sites we wanted to visit on this, our first trip to China. Our tour guides, Richard Wang in Beijing, and Karen in Shanghai were incredibly informed, responsive and fun, adding so much to our experience. Karen went out of her way to make time to add an unplanned visit to a nearby museum that caught our interest. Richard's commentary on the history and architecture of the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace made both destinations come alive for us.
Before and during our trip Maple responded to all of our questions and requests promptly and professionally. When Odyssey found out that the cable company serving the Great Wall would be closed for maintenance on the day we were scheduled to go there, she immediately sent a revised itinerary to us for approval, one that enabled us to visit the Great Wall without missing any of the other sites included on our schedule, something that a less responsive, less engaged tour company would undoubtedly have overlooked.
We unhesitatingly recommend Odyssey Tours, and intend to use them for our next trip east. Odyssey's flexibility, responsiveness and personalized service ensured that we had an absolutely unforgettable experience. We cannot thank you enough!

Two weeks in China .. Will hire again
Will hire again. On time. Flexible. They listen and respond accordingly.
All 5 guides Jason Shirley, Tony1, Tony2 and Kurt were knowledgeable and cordial. We are not the "follow the flag" types so we relied on our guides to get us to the venue then let us roam to reel us back when time to go... on our schedule. Mid tour changes no problem as we did it via email and phone. For Tom in the office- No friction. No complaints..

My contact with Odyssey tours was Andy …
My contact with Odyssey tours was Andy Xie. I haven't taken my tour yet so I'll withhold final judgment until I've actually been there and back. With that said, the setting up of the itinerary was easy. I altered my arrival and departure cities a few times and Mr. Xie had no problem cheerfully sending on adjusted itineraries. In addition, I was interested in doing some non-mainstream sightseeing and Mr. Xie was able to schedule in all those things without issue. If the trip is as hassle-free as the arrangements were, it will be a great trip.

Second time around.
This was my second time working with Oddessey Tours and they did not disappoint. Catherine was great to work with. She knew what I had seen with my first tour, what I had enjoyed the most and built the second one based on that information. I enjoyed the second tour more than the first. JT was amazing again. JT, like Catherine used what he learned about my interests on the first tour and applied it to this one. I enjoyed my tour so much! I saw everything I wanted to. I spent the amount of time I wanted to in different areas. It was amazing!

Amazing
I went to Shanghai, Beijing and Xian with the Odyssey tours.
All of the guides were really nice, spoke good english and explained a lot about China.
All the Hotels were very good located.

My China tour itinerary
I have just booked an 18 day tailor made tour of China with Odyssey. Religious and Sightseeing Tours India
My wife and I have done two 21 days tours in India with Odyssey. Don Li has been our consultant and our tours have been faultless from beginning to end.
