Horrific,slow,lack energy
Charleston acted for the buyer of my house.There were a high number of applicants on the application however 14 months later Charleston were still establishing basics like proofs of address,identity,correct endorsements?
I accept the lender requests information but surely the broker sat in the middle sanity checks what is being sent in by the applicant then either forwards it to the lender or re-requests it? Charleston seem to blindly send it in (as it is requested again) and hope for the best but inevitably it comes back wasting more precious time. Any info requests by phone by myself (despite having DP authority) were met by meaningless updates and pure waffle worse than Boris Johnson.The Lender (Not So Sure as they are known) is even dimmer allowing a case to stumble along like a 3 legged horse in the National for 14 months without bringing closure or 'managing' it on/off.Time and time and time again the same info was said to be requested and still not correct 14 months later and I mean basics like a passport for Identity proof.By the time this firm get anything agreed the markets moved! Hopefully Charleston won't send me a message saying sorry and can I contact them to discuss how to 'help them improve for the future'.If you can't get a guys passport correct in 14 months then its time to shut shop.Can anybody really defend a mortgage application on going for +12months for a basic £113k terrace house?? Involvong management has nil impact,they are indifferent to a 14m case.

Amazing service, no case too hard
Amazing service, succeeded where others have failed and got me a really good deal on a complex case. Rates were very good considering the hikes we’ve been seeing. Connie and Steven were amazing and the response times were almost instant.
