Visited my old high street in Erdington this weekend and I must say the changes are startling! Many closed stores that I had once visited. However, it was lovely to see that cash converter was still standing! Decided to swing by for a case of nostalgia and although it was busy at the time and both lovely lady and gentleman at the counter were serving they still acknowledged my presence and greeted me with warmth and smiles, makes a change from the rest of the high street. Some good stock too so will definitely be back

I bought a subwoofer online from the Southampton (Bitterne) branch and am delighted with my purchase. Liz was very helpful when we communicated by email, and the parcel turned up on time and well packed. Recommended!

Awful lying company. I would stay away from them at all costs. They sell knowingly faulty goods and then refuse to take them back.

Head office has no contact numbers and never respond to emails.

Think twice before buying anything from them.

I purchased Seiko Presage from the Bedford Cash Converters on the Third of March 2026.
I was served by Jennifer and during the sale she was incredibly friendly, smiley and professional.
Jennifer is a great asset to the company and a superb representative of the brand,
I would wholeheartedly recommend the store on the basis of the customer service Jennifer delivers.

I came in on 25th with my mother to the Cash converters in Kilburn and Minh Le the store manager was helpful enough to let us pawn some items in times of hardship. May god bless his kind service and help. He was kind and talkative and made us feel very welcome.

This company hardly answers the phone I've rang 5 times today and no answer I ring 3 times the other day and still no answer it's unprofessional especially when your trying to sort your items out and can't get into the store

First Class service form the staff @ Boston CashConverters , I purchased an Apple Mac M1 Air laptop , They sent me close up pictures of the laptop where they were slight marks, I was happy to proceed with the purchase after looking at the pictures , they promised it would be delivered the next day, But the delivery company DHL let them down and it was a day late. but the store manager (Maria) gave me a full refund for the next day delivery postage, I was very happy with the way she handled the late delivery issue, I will be using them again to buy my next used laptop .. I sold a 22k gold band weighing 5.7 grams to them and they told me at scrap value the price was £150. At the time I'd no reason to doubt a so called reputable business but later found out the true price was £112 per gram. Don't be like me, check the live gold Value price which updates daily and don't take your gold here. At least Dic Turpin wore a mask and didn't openly smile as he took the gold. Stay well clear. Store in question was Belfast Bridge street.

Order dispatched and received very quickly. Packaged well to protect against damage. Very happy with the item received. As described on website. Thanks

Absolute nightmare. Spent thousands here.
Bought a laptop a month ago, returned it. Then had refund processed after 3 weeks....They THEN sent out ANOTHER delivery guy on the same day I was having another parcel collected, AFTER they'd already received my item. This meant I released a parcel nothing to do with them. .. the store then held me at fault and told ME to arrange it's collection. So I did, at my own expense. The item wrongly sent to them has just arrived with the box bloated and the contents, a monitor, completely smashed. Meaning I can't send it on to who I originally purchased it from. Who were already expecting it late....

Hellish experience, no-one cared, currently speaking to DPD to get the money I'm owed as I'm stuck with a dead product.

Nothing but problems. Won't be buying from here again. Take note

I handed over a £110 worth of brand new violin, plus the sheet stand..

They offered me £30 for the Violin and they said they ll take the stand for free if I wanted to because they not paying for the stand.
(How lovely and nice of them isn't it?
I should have asked them if they would be so kind and take the Violin for free aswell..)

I will never go back there because these people are literally thieves.

Cashconverters will soon go into bankruptcy because when you are a thief, you WILL always be debunked....(is what nature does..)

I will not give you the location of the shop because you should take all shops in consideration.

So I will let nature decide because only God knows how to fix it...

Me giving one star is my experience with CashConverters and also to be able to write a review.

The one star is not to be taken as decisive because I m sure there are honest sales advisors out there working for CashConverters.

Make your own experience and see how it goes...it might be different to mine.

Whilst the concept is great the fact that they seem to abuse the process and offer seriously low ball offers for items seems almost criminal, recent experience was selling an I pad we had that was one month old, it just wasn’t be used as intended, the price they offered seemed like theft in my mind, went to an alternative company and received £80 more than CC. I shan’t look to use these places again. To finish it off the individual in the shop was rude, aggressive in manner and once they were told no seem to take on a whole new perspective on life.

Service at the Newark on Trent branch really good on 2 occasions I went in and asked about selling 2 phones. First visit is was January 2026 was abit apprehensive as not sold to them before. The member of staff who dealt with me on both occasions made me feel at ease and made the whole visit really good. Competitive/ great price for my unused items. Was offered more than expected and better price than there competitors. Won't use anywhere else will keep using cash converters. Will definitely be back selling more unused old devices in the future

Bought an audio amplifier off their website, got it delivered and it wouldn't power on. It didn't say anywhere on the website that the unit was non-functional.

I bought a olds special cornet off cash converters. I cornet was well packed . I received it with two days . It was exactly the same as what it was advertised as been. I'm very happy and I highly recommend them to you

Mexbourgh shop South Yorkshire 17/02/2026 saw a camera in the window cannon ticket price 30 pounds inspected it said yes the shop worker said sorry it’s 200 pounds terrible service why’s this happening the camera wasn’t worth 200 pounds I could’ve forced the point but didn’t want to upset anyone should be something done about how could this be done will not use again people need to watch out

Amazing customer service!!

Had to send back a PlayStation 5 console because it wasn’t working, I stupidly ordered it online, I sent it back at my own expense £27 first class, hopefully it is fixed when I get it back. If you purchase something online why can’t you go to a local Cash Converter to have it fixed????

Order an item via their online site, Got both a Confirmation and a Cancellation at the same time...seems they sold it to someone else while i was waiting for my bank confirmation txt and the system still checked out and took payment....Poor ordering system, if someone has basket ed/checked out and having an order processed the item should not be available for someone else to purchase....please fix this

Checkout/Transaction was completed by your system and i received conformation that " We’ve received your order and are processing it" ...as far as i was concerned i had purchased the item,you had taken payment for it so transaction complete.....So what your saying is it's basically pot luck if you have actually purchased the item you think you have because of a multi site listing policy ???...Hum i think i'll take my £'s elsewhere thx

Edit: So 3 weeks later try to buy another item add it to my basket and checkout,....just get a message "Sorry, an error has occurred, please try again soon." and then item is marked as sold...BROKEN SYSTEM, why doesn't your basket have a 5min checkout/payment HOLD on item...Terrible system please fix this.
