Carpenters were the legal cover DO NOT waste your money , after over a year of being mucked around , terrible communication and eventually being asked to fill a form over a year later! but it will most likely be unsuccessful, after speaking with Camilla, and listening to her legal jargon basically they weren't doing a thing , they chose not to try . Shambles of a company .

Awful!!!! I was contacted by carpenters when we had a RTA In 2023 which wasn’t our fault. Numerous handlers and then we were given Daniel Smith who has been awful! No correspondence, hasn’t dealt with injuries appropriately and now was told court had no judges?? I have wrote to him numerous times to say I am suffering in pain every day and he ignores me. I have requested a different handler and that gets ignored!!!!
I did a review and carpenters said they would look into this and get back to me but am still waiting!!!!!! Please reply asap!!!!

Carpenters were instructed by my insurers to claim my losses for a non fault accident and they just don't do anything, they don't reply to emails, calls don't go through. They cannot even get back the funds for my dash kam that was damaged and is still with me. They just keep asking for pictures every 5/6 months and then don't reply again. If you are given this company by the your insurers to act for you, I would seriously refuse as they are just a complete waste of time, in fact, I have spent more time and money chasing them... just crazy ... terrible service

I had a car accident that Carpenters did nothing about, I did not instruct them because they were not my lawyers or my insurers. They obtained my data online without my consent. They did nothing, and a person named Sean Rigby keeps sending emails asking for payment of £1,277.44. I have kept all their emails. This company are scammers

Shame that no stars isnt an option. I have been dealing with this company for almost 4 years. The claim reference is SOU0256/62509. I am now speaking with the financial ombudsman because this company is a sham. Trying to speak to anyone or get any replies from emails is also near impossible. Absolute worst 4 years having any dealings with this joke of a company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! My straight forward case has taken 5 years due to poor communications, staff turnover over and negligence. They have been reported to the ombudsman and FCA for not following up on complaints and not allocating client funds. The reviews speak for themselves, other clients have reported the same behaviour by staff and general lack of communication and unprofessionalism. I am dealing with James Hall and Christopher Kennedy and both have been extremely ineffective and unprofessional.

If we could give zero stars we would. 3 years 2 months ago a delivery van crashed into the back of my partner and said delivery company admitted liability. So far so good, except my partners claim is still ongoing! Very little contact unless initiated by him, constantly chasing and getting empty promises. He rang them re running out of time on his claim but was told not to worry. A day before the date of closure he was contacted with a you must complete this now or your claim will be closed. Appalling service from the beginning. He has seen so may Doctors, had physio and injections. Told they are waiting for a Doctors report ? Really this was months ago, those Doctors get paid very well so either Carpenters are not bothered or the report has been ignored or lost. 3 years 2 months and liability admitted what is going on. Anyone in need of their service please note our review and think again. The handler is never there, on holiday or a promise we will get back to you. Well that never happens either!!

If I could give less than 1 star I would! Am currently on my 3rd or 4th solicitor from them who gives very little communication. They're dealing with a claim from over 2 years ago! They never reply to me when I send messages. A joke of a company, no wonder they have so many poor reviews!

These solicitors are useless for the personal injury claims i will not recommend these people to anyone specially Karolina Mallett because she never answers your phone calls never replies your emails or phone calls and she is handling my two cases and it’s more then 2 years and nothing outcome yet and i always chasing and no response from them these carpenter solicitors really need to change there staff or close down there shop if they can’t work properly and can’t get the money for people. I had another accident after this accident and My other solicitor has been sorted everything within 1 year definitely not recommended carpenter solicitors to anyone you will waist your time and lose your case without even do anything.😡

I had an RTA in 2021. I'm still waiting for Carpenters to settle my claim. No one calls me back. They keep telling me they are waiting for a court date! Wish Id checked on here before going ahead. Was recommended by insurance company. Total joke.

This company needs to close down, absolute scammers.its a shame these insurance companies refer to them. I have been waiting since 2022 for my case to be dealt with, they have change the person handling my case so many time and the last one i have Ashley Hutton does not ever reply to message, constantly says out of office. i am so disappointed i am about to complaint to the ombudsman the 2nd time, this company does not care about its customers
This company is totally incompetent
This company is totally incompetent. They are unable to collaborate with their own colleagues and the medical company they use is medically illiterate. I am not sure that they even know the law and its application. In February 2024 a car crossed the traffic calming island at high speed and drove into our car thereby writing it off. I was in ICU for 9 days. My husband was only saved by the safety system in our car and we both suffered severe trauma. My husband had physiotherapy for whiplash but nothing for trauma. I have had nothing at all despite many requests. The driver of the other car has been convicted and the police report states we were innocent of any fault. I have informed the ombudsman and am waiting for a reply. I now have to complete a complaint for myself. Carpenters and the underwriters have been horrendous. Over a year on we are still waiting. They have basically done nothing on what is an open and shut case. I cannot understand how they are still operating. They do not communicate in house and do not read notes or the portal. I am requesting that we are awarded stress payment as a result of their inability to progress the two cases. We also need a significant payout from the other insurers as I am still recovering from my injuries and trauma. This is a company who should be shut down. Unfortunately insurers use them. I am not sure why as they do not care about their clients. Everyone needs to complain.
