Don't purchase from this company. I have been a customer for over 20 years but recently I was over charged for items that had prices cheaper on the product labels than the website. The customer care was appalling, no accountability that they had made a mistake and refused to agree the prices had been inflated to claim bigger discounts. Anyone can offer 50% when you make up the prices. It is no wonder this company disappeared from the high street, is only a matter of time before they disappear online with service like this.

Ordered £200 of clothing including a coat which arrived with the security tag on. Paid next day delivery as the coat was for a birthday party. Awful.

I am so relieved that I am not the only person who this company has kept the money and kept the goods returned to them. Also the lies in the emails sent to me defy anything I come across in a long time and I am over 70. I thought this kind of practice belonged to uscrupulous sellers who we risk buying from.

As the other people have reviewed. This company is fake and steal people's money. I ordered 2 caps and they keep on giving me false information about my delivery. Can't believe people like them are still running a business...

I ordered a pair of shoes from this company, they sent me a used and worn pair, the shoes had creases all over and the soles were dirty. I sent images of everything to them, the member of staff that responded did not even pretend to care enough to properly apologise. I just received a careless ‘sorry’ and was told I will only get a replacement pair if I send the used one back first. The person I spoke to was called Luke, I think Luke needs some training on how to deal with complaints better considering he works in customer service. This is the first and last time I’ve purchased anything from this awful company, the only positive thing I have to say is that Rey was super helpful and sorted the issue right out.

Absolute liars and swindlers. They literarily stole my money. They had falsified information about delivery and dispatch and requested a return for dispatched order. I waited 3 months for my order and after I had a conversation with more then 50 emails with the support team in others 3 months for money return. I'm still waiting for money... Never buy from burton.co.uk.

What certifiable idiot sends out 2 pairs of sun glasses in a plastic bag with no packaging and expects them to arrive undamaged ?. Hermes stuffed this bag through my letter box and both pairs are damaged with lenses loose in the bag .BUK100292113

I had ordered through them for Hermes to not deliver my item. I contacted burtons through WhatsApp and they got back to me and re ordered what was missing which was a great help

17/08/21 - I have today had an email from Jade in customer services to say that my refund can’t be processed even though they instructed me to cancel the claim with PayPal so they could process. PayPal have taken pity and have refunded me themselves and will place a marker against PayPal. I suggest others do the same with PayPal or Credit card company and do NOT cancel the dispute. This company has messed me around a lot and have basically withheld my money which I call fraud or theft, I can’t make my mind up. This is regarding a Burtons order which they are part of. BUK100139571 .

needed some stuff - saw they had free next day delivery so ordered a bit more to take it over the £50 threshold. Did the order on my phone but when I got the confirmaton email in a minute or so it said 5 day delivery. Almost impossible to contact them and when I did (whatsapp, twitter and facebook) they wouldn't change it. I needed stuff next day so eventually I re-ordered on my computer and went to the section (I didn't see on my phone!!) where I could specify next day delivery. Why didn't it default to the offer they were making - what a shower.... Now I will just return the order I placed earlier (at their expense - crazy business practice). However it will be the last order they get from me - tricked into ordering for free delivery - ha.... No wonder everyone buys from Amazon!!!

Ordered 2 pairs of black trousers was both for 20 had extra off paid 18 plus delivery came to 21 had within a week and the tags said 40 each and was excellent quality, have brought these from shop before and am really pleased with the quality and look..my son looks smart for school..would recommend

I Ordered some mens clothes items last week,package arrived on time but there was a very strong odour of my clothes a shirt,trousers and jumper had this smell of disinfection or medical smell like deep heat cream washed the items twice on a hot wash with stain remover still the smell was there,I Took the items to my local laundarette they cleaned them dried them but yet again the very strong smell could not be removed.a waste of money i should say that i bought these items on a knock down sale on there site,but its a true saying you get what you pay for rings true,and particularly when it comes to burtons menswear online,AVOID!!

Excellent customer centric support service. Was impressed the support over WhatsApp and they agents (Zoe and Fiona) supported me without much delay. This is one of the quick way to get support in my experience. I was unsure about the return process and this is my first return experience. After my interaction, now I am confident on choosing online for shopping. Pricing was excellent.

After a week of ordering. today I received the items I had ordered. Contrary to most of the negative comments I see here, I am really satisfied with the quality of the goods. At least for the money I paid, I received quality goods, and that's important to me. I also found out today that they have products made from recycled plastics, I really support this great job of Burtonmenswear company.

I had an issue with a delayed order. Fiona was quick to respond via whatsapp and provide some solutions. Very helpful, thank you.

Seen a fair few negative reviews about Burton so felt it was right to share my positive experience. Great price and easy site to navigate. Items dispatched promptly and arrived quickly via Hermes. Had such a good experience I have ordered more items since.

Here we go yet again !Another complaint about Burton Menswear sharp practices on line I purchased an item of clothing following receipt of an e mail dated 20/6,with a limited time offering of an additional 10% off the already discounted price and FREE NEXT DAY DELIVERY specifically for the offer.Guess what,when it came to the payment screen there was no free delivery overide put in place.Not only in direct contravention of the obligations placed by "The Advertising Standards Authority"but a blatant misrepresentation under the auspices of the "Consumer Rights Act".I sent an e mail to Burton Menswear(their e mail button STILL DOES NOT WORK SOME 3 WEEKS AFTER REPORTING IT BEING FAULTY)FOR ATTENTION OF CUSTOMER Relations Escalations and also guess what ? my request was ignored and dealt with a person in their standard CS correspondence dept whom proceeded to state that as standard delivery was selected next day delivery could not take place.To add more ignorance,my request to be refunded with the standard delivery charge i was obliged to pay(to ensure my order was processed) was totally ignored despite my highlighting the website error etc.This was a clear example of unqualified staff with little or no idea of business acumen and as a corollary a waste of my energy in asking for a simple action to be executed consequent upon the website fault ref failure to overide charges for delivery notwithstanding 2 clear statements on the e mail received stating clearly "FREE DELIVERY" ! When i ask for my e mail to be responded to by "customer experience escalations,i do not expect a none descript to respond with a ridiculous illogical and silly response.Previously,a lady identified as Jade J has dealt efficiently with my immediate preceeding complaint about another seperate purchase. to which my complaint and evidential documentation refers.I merely ask that the legally entitled refund of £3.99 representing the delivery charge i was obliged to pay for proposed despatch of goods WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN FREE be processed forthwith.
AN UPDATE FROM THE CS STAFF AT BURTONS MENSWEAR ! BECAUSE I ONLY PAID £3.95 NOT £5.00 FOR DELIVERY (eventhough delivery was free but their systems were faulty and would not default to free delivery hence i had to make a delivery payment) They are saying they cannot refund me because i chose to pay for standard delivery not next day at a higher price EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FREE.I
CANNOT GET THROUGH TO THEIR POOR INTELLECT, THAT DELIVERY WAS FREE SO I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO MAKE ANY PAYMENT OPTION FOR DELIVERY.(I keep having to repeat myself,am i going mad ? )
HAD I NOT MADE A PAYMENT FOR DELIVERY-EVEN THOUGH IT WAS FREE,BURTON MENSWEAR WOULD NOT HAVE SENT ME THE PARCEL FOR MY ORDER.SOME OF THEIR CS STAFF really do need to be retrained.The service is beyond diabolical !
I will now make myself absent to the world, as i go in search of a solid brick wall against which, i can bang my head against, to establish if i will then wake up from the nightmare that is Burton Menswear !

If any Senior Manager/Directors at Boohoo (The new owners and parent company of Burton Menswear)read this,i suggest they investigate if it was a good idea to buy them from Arcadia given their now toxic brand and incapable/lacking in fundamental common sense "back office" operations.ENOUGH SAID !
