I ordered the 110 films (for my kodak instamatic camera- 1970’s) on the 15th and it arrived 2 days after that so it did not take long for the items to arrive.

Started using the film today and i experience no issues with it. Love it!

Bristol Cameras had the right accessory I needed at a fair price and delivered as promised within a few days. Easy to order on line. Also I rang with a query and was quickly helped. As against an alternative on the internet which would have been posted from the other side of the worlds taking a few weeks.

Camera battery - £35 plus £6 postage. Non-delivery when expected. Contacted Bristol - couldn't have cared less. No proactive communication with me as a customer - the battery arrived 11 days after ordering, and after I'd initiated a credit card company dispute.
I can't bear companies whose post-sales care and attention stinks. Bad. (And emails from them come from 'no-reply' addresses.)
Post-script:
You can see the reply. Judge for yourself. Simply passing the buck onto the courier company THEY USE.
Here's what you should have done Bristol Cameras. Immediately supply a replacement as soon as you knew there was a delivery problem, and then if the original was eventually delivered to the customer arrange for that to be sent back to you.
You should also proactively check progress with the customer, not leave your customer hanging without the product you promised they would receive, and for which you have already received payment.
As I indicated in the review, one star for a third-rate company. Actually one star is a star too many.

I had a very positive experience with Bristol Cameras in terms of returning an item. I bought a camera case which didn’t quite match what I thought about it before I actually seen it in person.

I ordered my camera on 30th May in the evening, it was showing in stock so I thought next day, there will be information about delivery dates because I was in hurry to receive it due to travelling on specific date. No update on Friday, I sent email that was never acknowledged so I called on Monday as they are closed over weekend.

I was told on Monday morning by a nice gentleman that camera is definitely in stock and I am the only customer who requested it
so the status of my order will update by the end of the date and then delivery will be next day.

Nothing changed by the end of the day. I called today again to check if they are sending because I need this camera by Thursday.

I was told that now they have to check again because they need to order it for me. As I am in hurry and their story changes everyday and I hardly saw it coming by Thursday in this pace, I decided to cancel my order which was done promptly.

Immiediately, I ordered from other site today and my camera will be delivered tomorrow.

I think they need to review their ordering system and communicate better and if you are in hurry, thats not exactly the place to order but if you have time then maybe it would be ok.

As I wrote in title, 3 stars for being nice on the phone.

I purchased a new lens from Bristol cameras as it was a very reasonable price.

After purchasing I saw some of the reviews and initially thought I had made a bad choice as there was a lot of negativity.

I must say the experience I’ve had was a positive one. I ordered late on the Wednesday evening, order was acknowledged the next day. I called on the Monday for an update and was advised the lens was needing to be ordered from Sigma direct. The next day (Tuesday) I received an email saying the lens was dispatched to myself for next day delivery.

The guy on the phone was pleasant and helpful. Would recommend Bristol cameras and would shop with them again.

Can’t wait to play with the new lens tomorrow.
