The company has a large network of companies that I get exposure too. I like that I am automatically referred to companies that may be a good fit. My client relations specialist, Jen, also facilitates the introductions and makes herself available should I like her to be a part of the interview process. Good to know the Boardsi group is there to facilitate my goal of serving on boards.

My experience with Boardsi to date has been exceptional. Beginning with James Balsz, who was very professional, friendly and very helpful in helping to get the process onboard. He explained the process very well, including how the fee structure will work. I received the Leadafi document from Lisa Williams. The Leadafi document was exceptionally well done. There were some minor changes that were required and Lisa was considerate in her response and made sure they were made promptly and accurately. I am hoping that the rest of my connection/association with Boardsi is equally as fruitful and accommodating.

Leadafi’s executive profile process was streamlined, collaborative, and genuinely effective. They quickly distilled my experience into a clear, board-ready narrative that highlights impact and leadership. Special thanks to Lisa Williams, her guidance, thoughtful questions, and sharp edits made all the difference.

Great thank you to Lisa Williams and Leadafi program for superb professional work on my Executive Biography! Great job on bringing together all details from my professional roles.

So, disappointing. I was hopeful, to say the least. First, got the sales call- I was crystal clear with James, I wanted the best- it's clear with the reviews that certain folks get results and others are lackluster. So, they 'set up' my bio/profile- which was basically my Linkedin- but redone worse that ChatGPT could have done in 2 minutes. Undigestable format. Then, I've contacted both my sales person and my account manager- to no avail.. not even a response.

Prompt, efficient and very responsive. The final work product was well written and nicely done.

Lisa Williams did a fantastic job putting together my biography. There were a few things that I wanted to add, Lisa was very helpful with that process. I made a few typos, and we had several exchanges to get the bio correct. Lisa responded quicky and always encouraged me to review everything to make sure the bio was correct. I was pleased with the entire process.

Lisa Williams took my resume and the answers I gave in an interview about my expertise (have been too busy to focus on my Boardsi profile myself), and managed to create a robust bio that is both accurate and compelling. Thank you, Lisa, for reading between the lines of my diverse expertise, figuring out the best way to position me and my leadership skills, and for being so easy to work with!

They asked tons of good questions and made the process easy. They also made a great write up of me.

I would like to chime in with my recent experience (8 Sept 25) - boardsi reached out to me by email last week. We arranged a phone interview. I am currently overseas so I provided my local number. No call. Just an email: "Sorry we missed your appointment today. The representative assigned to your call had an emergency and had to leave the office. Thank you for expressing interest in paid board and advisory roles. To get started, please take a moment to watch the video linked below, which provides an overview of the Boardsi suite. After watching, kindly complete the enrollment form and schedule your in-depth onboarding interview. We look forward to connecting with you on next steps. Video below." The link took me to the enrollment form and the payment form - $395 (upfront!!!). My view - if anyone falls for this they should not be on any (!) board.

I was definitely oversold. I was told they would be in constant contact and reaching out to companies on my behalf. I was the one that had to check in several times to see what was going on. Each time they told me they were working on things and reaching out to companies, but I never saw anything to indicate they had been reaching out. When I indicated I wanted to cancel it was easy which I appreciated. They tried to get me to continue paying, telling me it would take more time to get interviews. In the end it was too much money too soon to be willing to let it keep going. I would absolutely pay for each placement rather than pay a monthly fee hoping to get a placement.

Interesting to see a lot of the reviews on here are about the on onboarding process and not on the results.

This has been the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. I’ve heard three different explanations about placement times, yet after being with Boardsi for over a year I’ve seen no results whatsoever. This experience feels like the biggest scam I’ve ever encountered—pathetic and unprofessional.

I was contacted to be a boardsi member which would’ve been ok if I hadn’t gotten recurrent calls by the same guy for the same purpose on the same day, within like 30 minutes of each other.

This is my second review because boardsi flagged my last review to have it taken down and it was removed needlessly. I feel other readers should be aware of this. Boardsi boasts claims about placing you on a board and paying you up to $30K for a role for a low monthly fee. That’s cute, but board members in legit organizations don’t pay monthly fees for their presence on a board; they’re paid to be there but don’t pay.

There are many who claim they offered their card info and were scammed so I stopped before anything happened. May wanna stay safe and go no further than I did to avoid that situation.
