I'm sure Boardsi finds positions for some, but it appears for the rest of they just collect fees. I had doubts about whether I had the expertise for a board position. Boardsi assured me that I had marketable skills. I signed up. Once a month I received a 7-minute verbal update. Eight months (paying eight fees) later and not a single interview: not ONE. I accept I might not be marketable, but if Boardsi truly are experts they should have known my skills aren't a fit.

My advice: set aside 2 hours each week and respond to LinkedIn opportunities for board positions. I did this and by the beginning of the third month I had several interviews. By the end of the third month I received an offer. (Irony - I didn't take the offer.)

The company’s marketing feels disingenuous, the reviews appear fake, and the payment model resembles a pyramid scheme more than a legitimate recruitment agency.

Easy and thorough

Lisa Williams was quick to respond to emails I sent to her. The document she drafted was better than I expected. She wove an interesting and compelling story about my career. I appreciated her honesty when I asked questions and her attention to details.

A lot went into developing my biography. The result was a wonderful bio!

Jeff Holden contacted me via my work email about possible board positions at my fortune 50 company email. It went to spam but I still responded and scheduled a meeting. Jeff canceled the meeting without any explanation, and then Boardsi's calendly system spammed me daily and then 1 hour, 30 min, and 15 minutes before the canceled meeting without any ability to stop them. I emailed asking if the cancelation was a mistake or if a different time worked, no response. Unprofessional.

Jen has been a tremendous ongoing teammate at Boardsi, which has been an impactful service for our mission-focused organization. Jen always goes above and beyond making sure the individuals are a great fit for our organization. We've brought on two new board members and we are sincerely grateful!

Been a member for almost a year. Poor Service - Only comms were during the initial weeks. After which it was only generic emails. No Tangible Results - No assistance or benefit using service. No personal follow-up or suggestions to improve lead generation. Had to cancel via phone. No method online. Would have given "no stars" if I could. Not worth the money.
