Negligent Service Leading to Cancelled Policy
I am leaving just 1 star due to the utter incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by Bluedrop Services resulting in the cancellation of my insurance policy and loss of premiums owed.
As a brokerage, it is their responsibility to clearly inform clients on policy disclosure duties and explain all terms in plain language. However, Bluedrop completely failed in these basic duties leading to my policy's cancellation by Aviva after only 5 months.
To make matters worse, Bluedrop is now demanding I continue to pay the remaining 5 installments of the annual premium even though the policy was cancelled prematurely.
This is despite the policy being sold on a pro-rata basis entitling me to a partial refund of around £30,000 for the unused period. Their greed and lack of ethics is astounding.
Bluedrop's negligence as a broker directly led to this cancellation yet they refuse to accept any responsibility. Their poor customer service and lack of accountability is unacceptable.
I caution all consumers to thoroughly research brokers before using Bluedrop Services. There are many competent alternatives who actually fulfill their duties and operate with integrity. Avoid the major financial loss I have endured.
