P.S. this experience is from September 2023 and I have now issued court proceedings. However, I am sure they didn’t all of a sudden become honest and start selling good quality vehicles.

Paid £12,300 for a 2015 Audi A6. On top of overpaying, it came with several problems including turbo issues!

Following acceleration problems 8 days after purchase, I had to drop by to have it checked by my usual mechanic and a list with 20+ issues was found during this diagnostic test. I then went by the dealership and they deleted the codes in front of me and told me if the issue persists, I should go back.

Of course, the issue persisted and no more than 2 days later, I called Jamie and very clearly expressed that I was unhappy with the vehicle and wished to return it. He proceeded to tell me “that’s not how it works” and that I needed to give them a chance to correct the issue. I guess me going into the dealership 2 days prior to that call was not considered a chance. Regardless, I decided to drive from Bedford in a car that did not accelerate (essentially endangering my own life to give dear Jamie another chance) and dropped the car off. Jamie told me he would call me once the car is back from the “specialist” which is key for their back yard mechanic who deleted the codes the first time. I brought my mother with me so I could have a way of getting back as no courtesy car was EVER offered nor mentioned!

I went without a vehicle for 2 days and then I received a call from Jamie saying the car has now been fixed. I asked him what had been the issue and he stated “a sensor”. Following a full check and report from Audi, it was indeed NOT a sensor… it was the DPF which was completeeeely blocked and was causing turbo underboost.. surprise surprise!!!!

Long story short, the issue persisted around an hour after I collected the car!

I again expressed dissatisfaction and again clearly stated I wish to return the car (I was very well within the 3 months warranty!), this time through e-mail correspondence, but again, Jamie stated “this is not how it works” and that I’d need to leave the car for a longer period of observation.

At no point did I bother them by calling, emailing or dropping in while they had the car in to get it fixed. So Jamie had plenty of time to keep the car for observation before handing it back to me.

Since the issue first occurred (8 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE), I had been in contact with my solicitor. After giving this dealership TWO chances to fix the issue and they failed, they still refused to refund me my money. That’s when my solicitor contacted them and gave them multiple chances to refund me the full amount. This was again unsuccessful and we are now finally issuing court proceedings.

BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE A LOT IN COMMON- FAULTY VEHICLES AND HIGHLIGHTING OF DISHONEST STAFF

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Dean he said that only the multimedia button did not work and he had to replace it. He said that the car had passed the MOT inspection, the mechanic who performed the inspection should be brought to court for fraud and making the car ready for sale, exposing the driver to an accident. be careful with this seller, he assured me that the car was done, I waited for the car for 2 weeks, I asked for a recording of the underside of the body, the car was heavily corroded, it had corrosion holes and a broken swing arm should not be allowed for sale. Mazda 3, white, do not buy it and avoid this seller.Do you don’t delete my review I’m have proof picture how looks this car

Use to think these was good bought a ford fiesta of them car had a few lights on dash took it back to them mechanic clearly just clears the codes now my engines is completely finished spend £10000 on a car n it’s damaged not trust worthy as soon as the warranty is done they don’t care

Would like to thank Birchwood for all their help with the car we’ve just purchased from them. They’ve been brilliant. My daughter had just had a bad accident and they’ve been superb. They’ve been so helpful with the car, sorted my daughters finance for us can’t thank them enough. Cannot rate these guys high enough and would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking to purchase a car. 5 star customer service

After sales service on a 2018 Hyundai i800 was not just dishonest, but I had to get a full refund though Visa & in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act which the owner had refused to give.
This is not a nice dealer although they will pretend to be.
They are not a dealer to be trusted.

I bought a Skoda fabia reg EK14YMX and the engine had an oil leak from day one. Because I declined a repair I had to pay for an independent vehicle report and it was three months before they agreed to a refund, then I had to pay for a tow truck to get the car back to them.
All in all a terrible experience.
