Hos Bindia laver vi certificeret økologisk og sund indisk mad (30-60%) - også vegansk - uden tilsætningsstoffer og konserveringsmidler. Vi bruger ikke forarbejdet mad eller frituresteger og vi tilsætter ikke hverken animalsk fedt eller farvestoffer. Vi har haft Det Økologiske Spisemærke siden 2015, hvor vi som de første i Skandinavien inden for det indiske køkken satte fokus på økologien. De gode, gammeldags metoder i det indiske køkken giver nemlig maden en naturlig og bæredygtig holdbarhed. Desuden har vi alle vores madvarer på køl, og den endelige ret laves først, når du bestiller den - og vi bruger aldrig mere, end det du får. Alt fra vores bæreposer, menukort og take-away-skåle er fremstillet af 100% genanvendt, ubleget papir. Både vores poser og menukort kan sorteres som papir - men vi anbefaler at man genanvender posen så meget som muligt først. For at skålene skal kunne tåle den varme, flydende mad, er en tynd plast-coating på indersiden nødvendig. Derfor skal skåle og tilhørende låg sorteres som almindeligt husholdningsaffald. Vi støtter organisationen Plastic Change, fordi vi også vil være med til at gøre en aktiv forskel for miljøet. Jeg havde en fantastisk oplevelse hos Bindia, hvor jeg bestilte indisk mad til take away. Kundeservice helt i top – personalet var utroligt venlige og hjælpsomme, og de sørgede for, at min bestilling blev behandlet hurtigt og effektivt. Maden var simpelthen lækker! Smagene var fyldige og autentiske, og portionerne var generøse. Jeg prøvede deres Butter Chicken og chicken spinat som begge smagte sindssygt godt. Jeg blev også positivt overrasket over deres naanbrød, som var blødt og lækkert. Jeg satte virkelig pris på den opmærksomhed på detaljerne, som Bindia viste, fra leveringstiden til den flotte emballage. Det er sjældent, at man får så god en oplevelse med take away herhjemme, især pakistansk/indisk mad. I går var jeg igen forbi Bindia for at hente mad. Jeg har regelmæssigt i mange år været en rigtig tilfreds kunde og har hentet mad på flere af deres spisesteder. Og det er jeg stadig.
Men i går var det anderledes. Den venlige mand som altid står og betjener mig på Trianglen, spurgte, om jeg ville lave en anmeldelse på Trustpilot. Jeg var lidt tilbageholdende fordi jeg normalt afstår fra at deltage i internet-bashing fora overhovedet. Men jeg kunne se at det betød noget for ham.
Så den her anmeldelse handler ikke kun om den meget gode oplevelse, jeg altid har af Bindia. Det handler hovedsageligt om alle dem der får afløb for deres dårlige humør og lader det gå ud over danske spisesteder m.m.
Jeg anmelder her dig der synes at det er din ret at bashe alt og alle på nettet. Fordi jeg tror simpelthen ikke på, at du har fået så dårlig behandling hos Bindia eller andre steder, at du skal sidde på din flade og give dem 1 eller 2 stjerner. Fik leveret Korma der ikke havde noget "nød" at all. Smagte af gulerodsmos med en sjat fløde i. Dertil alm ris selv om jeg havde bestilt pilaoo. Bestilte også 33 cl mynte, ingefær og lime drik. Turde ikke drikke den da der ingen etikette var på, ingen data overhovedet. Heller ingen dato. Må man overhovedet det?
Bestilte derfra fordi der på just eat stod det var indisk gourmet. Hvis man er pjattet med indisk, så kan dette sted ikke anbefales. Just saying.
Opdate: Den lange tekst som restauranten har valgt at svare med, lyder virkelig godt. Det jeg skrev om er resultatet af det køkkenet valgte at leverer. Det var ikke indisk. Overhovedet.

- No Nuts and lots of cream? -
Nuts have always been an integral part of our korma curry as we puree them into the curry. In the past, we use to add almonds to Korma curry as a topping as well. Since korma is a 'Children's Favorite', we started receiving multiple complains about the nuts being stuck in children's throats. We started to puree the nuts, maintaining their integral role in the dish.
The cream is a minor ingredient in our Korma, while the pureed nuts is responsible for creamy texture in the dish.
- You got Pilaoo Rice: -
Pilaoo rice is not a kind of rice but It’s a “method”, (tempering of cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and other warm spices to create a flavorful bouillon. We then steamfry the rice with that bouillon and add saffron in it). We don’t serve any boiled rice but only basmati rice made as “Pilaoo”.
- No Label: -
Freshly prepared food doesn’t require any date labels (according to health authorities). Lemonade is prepared every second day. Due to Bindia’s size, we have a sticker inspection from the health authorities too. We have the Best “Smiley” from the Health authorities at Bindia Amager and other Bindias too, not to mention. Bindia is well known for its high quality and Our Quality Pledge is:
- Always certified organic (30-60%)
- No processed foods
- Everything is made from scratch
- Nothing is deep-fried
- No animal fat added
- No additives
- No preservatives
- No food colouring
- Environment-friendly packaging
- Next to “zero” food wastage

A. The owner himself is from Punjab and has been in the food business for the last 33 years.
B. He has been featured and being consulted by major newspapers and different platforms, as an expert of Indian food. (DR1, TV2, Politiken, etc.)
C. All the Chefs & Kitchen staff have Indian heritage.
Korma is one of our most sold dishes. Indian cuisine is vast with hundreds of regional cuisines & versions. We prepare Korma the pure "Kashmiri" way as it is born originally.
Many eatries do have their recipes and we do respect them and as well as your choice. :)

I don't like their way of doing pricing. If feels like corporate tactics. The way it worked on their webpage was that delivery was free but for pickup you would get a 25% discount on the food.
In total, the difference for my single combo order was 85 kr. between pickup and delivery, which I did not notice until after paying - (note: it was also more than the 25% discount they write on their page).
When I got the food, it wasn't warm.
I wrote all of this in an email to them, but they didn't see it until after I gave them a bad review in their feedback formula, with their excuse being that my message "went to spam" - I literally used their contact formula on their website.
6 days later they got back to me and argued that my lukewarm food was in fact actually warm because they had data showing that food was prepared at 17:17 and picked up for delivery at 17:20, with their argument being that it's basically impossible for the food to arrive cold with this data.
They also wrote in the email that the combo deal I bought actually doesn't have any discount to it. I just bought a few dishes at their full price baked into a "combo deal" that's without any actual discount (with the protein I picked). It means that their price was misleading - back to my point about sketchy pricing.
I can see now they lowered the combo deal pricing with 10kr.
They gave me a 50kr gift card for my "valuable feedback".
Thanks Bindia.. 2 stars as the food was ok (ive had both better and worse) and arrived on time!

Our single combo deal price was calculated based on maiden price. Unfortunately, we realized that for the chicken customers there was no benefit other than free delivery. Thanks for pointing it out, we have corrected it.
- Price Clarity -
Like any other website UI, there are always improvements. Our website does tell the price difference at a later stage. Thanks for your feedback, we’ll improve our UI and it will be clear from the beginning.
- Contact Form Response -
When we receive a contact form, our system generates an email notification. Unfortunately, due to a glitch in the system, the email was not generated. This glitch has already been fixed. Thank you for reaching out to us before leaving a review. Unfortunately, we could not get the best benefit out of it due to the glitch.
- Cold Food -
When we pour the food into takeaway trays, the temperature is 90 degree.
1. The order was received at 17:00
2. The order was prepared at 17:17
3. The order was picked at 17:20
4. The order was delivered at 17:28
I think 28 mins from receiving the order till delivered is pretty effective.
However, once the food leaves our premises, external factors (weather, how it is transported, etc) are out of our control.
- Correction -

Bindia Frederiksberg er virkelig blevet min go-to for autentisk indisk mad. Maden smager altid fantastisk og er fyldt med smag og kvalitet. Personalet er utroligt imødekommende og gør altid det ekstra for at give en god oplevelse. Sidst jeg bestilte, havde de glemt en lille del af ordren, men inden jeg overhovedet nåede at opdage det, ringede de selv op og fik det hurtigt leveret. A RIP off!
The prices in this place have jumped by 35% over the past 12 months. Price gouging? I’d say so.
On top of that the man servingme for takeaway refused to delete the 4kr fee for a bag despite me bringing my own bag. I told him about the reasoning behind the law regarding minimising waste yet he was instructed to tell me it’s a compulsory charge. After I insisted he refunded me my money.

It is a bit disappointing for us to see that we got a low rating.
**"35% over the past 12 months"?**
Unfortunately, This is >NOT TRUE<. We raised our prices back in January 2023 by approximately 10%.
Indian kitchen is very labour intensive & there are no ready-mades available, unlike other big cuisines. That makes us prepare from top to tow & being organic, we truly put our sweat and blood in procuring the high standard raw material.
Therefore, I respectfully disagree that we are expensive. An organic dinner (Curry & Rice) costs only 150 kr. Just the other day, I was in Espresso House, ordered a sandwich with a piece of cake and coffee, and my bill was nearly the same.
Many of our customers do know what Bindia stands for:
- Always certified organic (30-60%)
- No processed foods
- Everything is made from scratch
- Nothing is deep-fried
- No animal fat added
- No additives
- No preservatives
- No food coloring
- Environment-friendly packaging
- Next to “zero” food wastage

**Compulsory Charge for Bags?**
You were *NOT CHARGED* for the bag, 4kr was given back to you by my colleague.
Unfortunately, the bag is auto-added to the order by our POS system since 99% of our customers choose our customized takeaway bags. (liquidy food is more safe in our customized bag).
I do apologize that he got confused about how to delete it from the POS system It made you feel he is not service-minded.

Velsmagende mad, men dårligste restaurantoplevelse ever
Vi havde bestilt bord til 12, så vores besøg var ikke en overraskelse for restauranten.
Imidlertid var konceptet mere et cafeteria/take-away end en egtl. restaurant: Vi skulle først afkrydse bestillingssedler, derefter gå til disken med dem og betale. Herefter fik man en sms, når maden var færdig.
Resultatet var, at vi fik vores mad på helt forskellige tidspunkter. Altså - med op til en halv times forskel. Mindst 4 af os havde slet ikke fået noget mad, før vi efter næsten en time henvendte os ved disken igen. I mellemtiden havde vi kunnet se, hvordan der blev afhentet talrige take-away måltider.
Ved henvendelse til disken fik jeg at vide, at min mad godt nok var klar, men at der var problemer med betalingen, og at jeg derfor ikke havde fået nogen sms. Problemerne' fik jeg ikke besked om, på trods af, at jeg sad højst 10 meter fra disken. Jeg viste den søde ekspedient min konto, hvor hun kunne se, at beløbet var trukket præcist 48 minutter tidligere, og fik min mad udleveret.
Her kommer take-away konceptet ind igen: alt var anrettet i engangsservice: Ikke engang et ølglas kunne man få. Det er virkelig ude i hampen at skulle drikke sin 60kr's øl af et papkrus + betale ekstra priser for maden når man spiser i restauranten.
Tænker også, at det er greenwashing at reklamere med bronze-økomærket, når alt er engangsservice.
De to stjerner er for maden, der smagte dejligt.

**Reservation?**
Yes, we informed your group member that we have enough space for the 12 guests, but we never take reservations.
**Takeaway?**
Yes, you’re right, Bindia is not a restaurant but a takeaway with the facility of Dine-in, and not a restaurant. The term "Restaurant" is neither mentioned on our website nor at any of Bindia's premises. :)
**Food ready on different times?**
Since it’s a takeaway & everyone places their orders individually, the food is also prepared individually. I do acknowledge it wasn’t great but learning from your feedback we’ll develop our system so group orders are served at the same time.
**Payment Glitch**
I sincerely apologize that your payment wasn’t marked by Verifone (Payment Gateway/Partner) in our POS. While all of your group members’ payments were marked correctly, unfortunately for some unknown network glitch at Verifone’s, only your payment wasn't marked. Consequently, your order was delayed & my colleague requested to pay again. As much as we’re sorry for the episode, we’re grateful for your kindness towards my colleague.
Nevertheless, our development team is already in communication with Verifone to have this issue resolved.
**Higher Dine-in prices?**
Despite the fact that Dine-in orders, create extra work for us (additional service, cleaning up & time etc.) than a regular takeaway order, we do not charge extra to dine-in customers & we do not serve in porcelain either.
I have checked from our side & can confirm that you were not charged 60kr but 45kr for the beer. A discount of 15kr is marked clearly on your order receipt.
**Greenwashing/Environmentally Friendly**
We’ve done proper calculations on environmental outcomes; Calculating the number of dine-in orders we get, disposing of our biodegradable-environmentally friendly packaging is more sensible than keeping the dishwashing machine on for many hours using electricity, water & chemicals.
By the way, being Organic has no direct relation with being Environmentally Friendly.
We are the greenest and the environment friendliest Indian when it comes to packaging, energy and food wastage.

I sincerely apologize if our Dal didn't live up to your expectations.
In fact, Dal is a universe in itself. There are many varieties of Dal, from which 50+ I can count on my fingers right now. Similarly, there are several methods/recipes for making/preparing these varieties too. There are many restaurants in India that only sell Dal exclusively. :)
The flavour of Dal can vary significantly based on how much it is tempered with spices. We aim to strike a balance with our version, as not everyone prefers it heavily spiced.
Coming to extra taste, since our menu is extensive, we do have strong and flavoursome options as well. May I recommend you try some of the options that have a lot more kick? For example, Madras, Jeera Masala curry & Coconut Tamarind Curry.

I apologize if the Garlic Nan didn't match your expectations.

It's unfortunate that Wolt delivered your order late & ruined your meal.
From my side upon checking our system's data I can see that we prepared the order as scheduled i.e. 19:43 however, unfortunately, Wolt's courier picked up the order at 19:58 (15 mins late) & we have no clue when was it delivered to your doorstep.
I wish Wolt had collected & delivered the order to you in time but unfortunately, that's out of Bindia's domain since we're just a food-making organ in your purchase.
Since your order was made and paid at Wolt.dk not at Bindia.dk & Wolt forbids us from dealing directly with their customers & doesn’t even share customer details in the original order; we have no influence on their couriers.

Thank you for liking the food, eventhough our prices didn't meet your expectations.
Indian kitchen is very labour intensive & there are no ready-mades available unlike other big cuisines. That makes us prepare from top to tow & being organic, we truly put our sweat and blood in procuring the high standard raw material.
Therefore, I respectfully disagree that we are expensive. A Chicken meal (400gm Curry + 300gm Rice) costs 150 kr. only, “Pickup & paid at bindia.dk” when a coffee cup costs 50 kr. & a beer 60 kr.

Dyrt og små portioner i forhold til andre take away, især da ris ikke følger med retten.
Selv på indiske restauranter i England, følger der ris med.
Selv med rabat er det meget dyrt, og toilettet trængte virkelig til rengøring

I apologize & thank you very much for pointing it out.
It is a must in our daily cleaning. According to the staff, it was a busy day & they couldn’t clean it in the middle of their shift.
I personally had assured that it was cleaned at the end of the shift.
-Expensive?-

Many of our customers do know what Bindia stands for:

-Small Portions-
Our meal is 700 gm, (400gm curry & 300gm rice). As a young man, I find it excessive, but appetite definitely varies.

-Rice not included?-
I do understand that unfortunately, few Indian eateries follow Thai & Chinese menu style (rice comes with curry)
Bindia kept the "Sides" separate, for all good reasons:
1- Giving customer’s the freedom to choose their favourite sides the same good old way it was done in Indian Cuisine.
2- We believe giving just rice with the curry is a poor way of having Indian Dinner.
3- Imagine, if 6 dishes are ordered, by default 6 rice will be given, of which, 2 most probably will end up in the dustbin. Pure food wastage.
4- We always believe that giving choice is a better option
