Front shocks never installed properly. Came off on one side and about to in the other. They did this twice. Then we offered $50 next time. Then accused my wife of returning the wrong ones to them after we had the dealer fix all their
Mistakes. It’s been years since I have had anything close to this terrible of service anywhere. My son could have been injured or killed.

Slippery - The Big O Ties in Conifer, Colorado is under new management and be careful is all I can say. That is not a positive change.

Why don't these businesses realize that when they slip in things customers don't want or need, that it costs them thousands of dollars in future business? I have five cars and will never take any of them back to Big O (any Big O) as a result of this visit. It cost me $200 but it will cost them $thousands. Any future visit will be limited to included services such as included and required "free" tire rotations, repairs and alignment checks.

Date of Visit To Store: March 30, 2023

Purchase: Four brand new Big O tires for a Chevy Silverado.

Amount spent: $1,543.00 4X4 All Season/Terrain Truck Tires and full synthetic large Oil Change, *alignment, *nitrogen, *TPMS rebuild *none of these were requested

A I said above but warrants repeating, I own five cars all of which need tires and I will not be returning to this store ever again and nor will I recommend them to anyone. Expensive lesson learned for me and for Big O Tires because I'll never buy from them again.

"Slippery" is the term I would use when working with this store. It harkens back to the days of snake oil and hucksters. Some was my fault for not looking more closely when the salesman was quickly going down the list of items with his highlighter but in a small town at a store I've bought from six times in the past, I made the mistake of trusting the salesman and not looking as closely as I should have. As I said, a slippery salesman and I was taken. As I said, I've learned a lesson that will serve me well in the future.

Several services and products were added to the bill that I did not request, did not realize were being added and that were not explained to me. The total extra cost amounted to about $200.00.

1.) Alignment: An alignment was added to bill only if needed. I asked to be notified if it was needed but they performed the alignment without notifying me. After driving home, I found that the alignment was not only unneeded but now my steering wheel was cocked to the right. I now have to go back to have that resolve.

2.) The alignment they conducted was off by about 2 degrees on the front end. I had to take it back two days later and when they checked it they advised that yes, the front end was off by 1.9 degrees and had to redo the alignment.

3.) Nitrogen - They added Nitrogen to my bill without telling me and without explaining that they were doing so. I did not want Nitrogen but it was added without clarification at a cost of $40.00

4.) I had an oil change done and they did not reset the vehicle computer to reflect the oil change.

5.) They did not reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) so my TPMS showed the wrong tires at each location. Fortunately I have a tool and had to reset them all myself in my own garage.

6.) TPMS rebuild kit was added without my knowledge or explanation.

7.) The services took over three hours in what I was told would be an hour.

8.) The store did not communicate with me relative to the alignment, nitrogen, rebuild kit or other services that were conducted without my understanding. My fault for not questioning it up front but the shop across the street was much more transparent when I bought tires for my Jeep from them the next day. Again, lesson learned.

9.) The second day following the installation of new tires, I picked up a piece of metal. I took the tire back to have it repaired and while they did do the repair for no charge, of course they would not replace the Nitrogen they charged me for two days earlier but only put regular air back in the tire when it was on their dime.

It could have been worse though because I did have all of my fluids checked on this 4X4 Chevy Silverado and they told me that the fluids looked good. Had they told me that they needed changing, I would have approved that with brakes and other consumables so at least now I get to give my money to a different local small business for those upcoming service needs.

They did give me a $50 veteran discount which helped ease some of the pain.

My advice is to check the list of charges very carefully and only and make sure you want what they're selling. Be careful, they're slippery.

I went to Big O tires on 09/18/2021 to buy 4 new tires for my 1999 jeep Cherokee 4x4 6cil 4.0. 235/75R15 part # BGO14464. Front desk guy that was helping me came up to inform me that "I needed new shocks on the Rear and front of vehicle" that was determined by the test drive taken after tires were on. I agreed to the front shocks but NOT the rear shocks because I had already replaced them just only a few months prior. The jeep was finally done after a little over 2hrs. The total came to $1066.69.
They charged me for of course tires + LAB SHSHL (1) rear shock absorber {When I told them I had rear shocks already replaced} this was for one $126.58/ + MON32252 ,MNRO MTC PLUS SHCK(2) $124.95 =$249.90. the millage read 226,422 today the millage is 229922 The reason I am writing this review is because I had to replace the both Front shocks on this jeep because they were not doing what shocks are supposed to do. Yes Only 3 (three) thousand miles were put on this vehicle and 2 yrs passed but shocks are should last for more than that. I had to purchase another set of shocks and have them put on. I am very very disappointed with Big O tires. I realize time has passed, however, MY INVOICE READS[ minimum mileage warranty 3Y60 ] when I drive over the speed humps in my place It sounds and feels like I am hitting a concrete wall no kidding. I will not go to BIG O TIRES ever again and I will also let others know how I was taken by this company that allows people to operate like this. Could it be because..........You draw your own conclusion.

Big o in show low no longer has a diesel mechanic, so go at your own risk. After sitting for 45 minutes I was called up thinking my truck was ready and I found out they never did anything. Again show low Big o no longer has a diesel mechanic go at your own risk and the risk of your very expensive diesel.

I'm pretty disappointed to say the least. I understand these are busy companies but that's more the reason the get each order correct and to oblige a warranty when problems are faced

I originally asked to get 2 tired replaced...whn I check back I see they replaced all 4 tires for a small SUV "2002 lexus rx 350". In all my past experiences buying tires for th8s car they have never been over 80$ for a new tire... but some how I wound up paying close to 700$ for this full set that wasn't asked for.

After the tires were replaced my front passenger wheel is continually losing air. I worked with Logan last time...he says he can't see anything wrong so he won't replace it over warranty...clearly something is wrong if I need to keep a quarter stash in my car now for weekly air pumps. This was at the happy valley location...nothing but bad experiences.
Well waiting in the room I had to deal with other employees coming to the front complaining about "the customers lying" and creating problems...I'm no buisness expert but it seems more professional to keep the work drama in the back.
Logan always seems to have some underlying attitude and an ego that shows he values nobody but except for his take on things.
Clearly my tire needs to be replaced. But I now need to follow up at a time when I can work with someone who does know what he's doing...
I'm not saying Logan is unexperienced, I'm sure he's don't his for years...I'm saying he needs to take a step back and realize his position and that he chose to work there. Nothing personal.
When there's a need for a problem to be solved, especially under warranty it should be addressed immediately. And not disgarded off a "glance" .This now comes down to my safety on the road.
Driving with low air can be very dangerous and can result in a blow out or a fatal crash.

Extremely poor service can't keep appointment unable to do a simple oil change with tire rotation, very bad attitude

Store 4210 , on 75th and encanto all of the staff were super friendly and informative about my car . I would recommend this location for anyone who need the help from professionals. They suck. Bait and switch. Quoted price and changes after started working on it and pulled nail out of tire. Claimed they didn’t have tire they initially quoted and I signed off. Livermore big o tire.

Made an appointment for Saturday morning on Thursday, my car sat there until 3:00 and they called and said the rims I had brought them didn’t fit. I took everything home to find out that they did fit. Brought everything back down there and was told to come back in a week and they would look at it. Went else where. If I would have lichen to them I would have sent back rims at a substantial shipping cost and had to find other rims good thing I checked for myself

Went there for an oil change. 1/24/23 Under new management. They enter incorrect miles reporting to carfax on previous visit they entered 54,000. Only had 24,000 miles manager asked me if I drove my car backwards? Big O tells me we need new brake pads and rotors and car only has just over 25,000 estimate cost $1200.00 They just lost a long time customer. Big O lacks integrity. An hour wait for oil change. my previous oil change was $64.15 and today they charged $105.82 and they put a fake signature on the receipt. Never again. very bad management. My experience at Big O Tires, Timberline, Fort Collins CO has always been excellent. There is so much competition in this town that if they aren't excellent and outstanding and professional you just go to the competition! This shop has been GREAT. Mainly my visits are air check (after all new tires, which are great by the way) and the tech's are prompt and Very courteous. Often it is James Wilson who is at the counter and he, like the others, is very well mannered and an excellent tech too.

Just go to Sam's Club for your tires. If you MUST buy from them, then buy the absolute cheapest and lowest tread life guarantee tires, because the higher priced ones are exactly the same compound. Bought the 60K mile tires, and they did not even last to 30K, if you try file a claim on the warranty, they will do every possible technical denial they can to get out of it. Never Again.

I was to get a sale for tires buy 2 get 2 free. They charge me 352 for the tires another 535 for installation, warranties and taxes, for a total of $878 I decided to go with some who charge less for installation

Murfreesboro TN store. Repeat customer. Been here since 8am for simple basic oil change. They told me at 9 that I had "major oil leak" from o ring and oil pan gasket. Went from $55 oil change to $300+. It's now 11 and still no word. ..I'm in waiting room dying of hunger and thirst.

Had a tire that needed replacing under the Big O Replacement warranty for road hazards i purchased with the tires. After replacement they told me there was a $21 dollar fee for changing the tire and about $24 for the warranty for the new tire. First they did not notify me or explain the charges before replacement. Second their competitor Discount Tire only charges for the new warranty for tires they put on. i could have picked up the tire and paid less to have it changed at another tire place for less if that was the case,

I went to get an oil change and Nick was great he did everything right I was able to watch him and he explained everything as he was doing the job. Excellent service, I will definitely go back and ask specifically for Nick Hodges at Altoona store..He even checked me out up front.

Rude horrific reception person (gumpy old man) that really need a tuneup on his brain, as pizzing customer away is not a smart practice. For a simple tire change over, paying $37ea for the job is ok with me but he chooses to pizzz me off with an low level story trying to lecture peopel tires not being bought via their shop and zhits like that,t just BS... just get it done you Stupid! better than paying standard hourly wage to your colleague doing nothing (where as other places can get it done @ $25 without saying a word). Services like this nowaday deserve failure at the end (deem for closure, no wonder they have to move location). I will not go to this shop for any servicing nor would i recommand to anyone, infact I will warn people not to go there if not needed to.

Had to purchase 4 new tires on vacation in Missouri. They kept my tire key. I wrote them, and the corporate office. Was told the tire key would be mailed to me. As of 9/16/22 no tire key and this happened the end of July. WHERE IS MY TIRE KEY?

I live in Las Vegas, NV and went to get a flat changed since it was under warranty with them. They let me know a few other issues were apparent, namely my brake fluid needed to be flushed and two additional tires were “ticking time bombs” (I got the whole set 2 months prior, they did not cover labor costs or renew the warranty for free). I agreed and got the brake fluid flushed, the oil changed, and 3 of my 4 tires swapped. They gave it back to me with the ABS, Brake, and Stability Control lights on. When I brought it back to them, they told me the brakes were fine and they just needed to reprogram the lights on the dash, but they didn’t have the tool. I went to the location they specified would have the tool, and they didn’t have the tool. They called around to nearby locations and none of them had the tool. They sent me to O’Reilly’s to get the tool to pull the codes and didn’t know how to fix it when I brought the codes back. They never fixed it, told us they were going to hope a 24 hour cycle fixed it, and they told us to come back tomorrow. They also specified that my ABS was not working now. I’ve gone back every day for 3 days now. When I asked them if they would fix it if it turns out there was an issue with the ABS now, they said they couldn’t tell me for sure. I will never come back after this issue is fixed, if they ever actually fix it.
