If you contact us, you'll be speaking to someone at our Craft Bakery in Harrogate. They are as close as you can be to the heart of our business without being sat next to the bread ovens, so you will be in expert hands.
We aim for perfection but from time to time things don't go to plan, so if the worst happens we will always do all we can to put it right.
Every person in our team has the authority to make decisions on their own, so they will do their best to fix things there and then. They will only pass you along or check in with a colleague when the question absolutely requires it.

Personalised Celebration Cake. I wanted something different and special for our Golden Wedding Celebration Cake..
I wanted something a little different for our Golden Wedding celebration and really liked the idea of a fondant fancies cake so that people could take one home if they didn't want to eat it after a big meal.
The lady at Betty's was extremely helpful talking me through what I had in mind then emailing me to confirm the details and collection arrangement. I was very pleased with the result it was beautiful especially with the gold ribbon to match.
The only thing I might have changed was to have had the balloons filled in with icing rather than just an outline piped.
I also had something similar for my birthday a few years ago.
Thank you Betty's you did a great job and helped make it special.

Lime French Fancies on the run!
I sent some special edition lime French Fancies to a friend to cheer them up after a health scare. Unfortunately, the delivery company did not deliver to the address and sent a misleading picture stating they had. We don’t know who got my cakes- maybe the driver? After discovering this and being very upset and disappointed, I called Betty’s helpline. I spoke to Bonnie who was absolutely wonderful. She was calm, understanding and apologised profusely even though it wasn’t Betty’s error. She immediately made a reorder for the next day which thankfully arrived correctly. I’m told, the cakes were delicious and really boosted their spirits. Thank you Bonnie for your kindness and attention in putting things right. You restored my faith. 💚

Thank you for your review - we're pleased that you enjoyed your cake, however it's disappointing if the order arrived earlier than expected. As you chose a Monday for delivery, the courier often delivers early on the Saturday (rather than leaving the parcel in the depot all weekend). We have placed an information panel on our website, during the checkout process, to advise customers of this before they choose a Monday for delivery.
DPD will always advise if they are going to deliver early, and they will hold the parcel over to the Monday, if you prefer.
We hope this explains and again we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Betty’s are absolutely amazing in every way. In all they offer, the user friendly website, the excellent customer service, just everything ! I’m so grateful to have Betty’s to go to when I want to send my Mum or other relatives/friends a special little treat! And oh those fondant fancies!…. The substance of them and a taste like no other. And Betty’s are literally the only place that still makes them, apart from the flimsy Mr Kipling ones you can buy in a supermarket etc, there is zero comparison though. Thank you Betty’s! ❤️🙏🏼
