Fished GULP since it came out, with success. Lately the longevity has seen serious decline. My latest episode I opened a pk. I bought in October and it was so tender it wouldn’t even stay on my jigs: just disintegrated. This is a recurring issue that has gotten progressively worse. Refuse to buy a product intentionally cheapened for the sake of greed! Gulp was once a great product but no longer. Not spending $9-12 a bag on a bait I might as well throw away at the end of a fishing trip.

I have used Berkley Trilene almost exclusively for decades and never had a reason to question the product until now.

This spring I purchased a bulk spool of Trilene XL 6 lb green and respooled six rods. During our first fishing weekend, the line repeatedly broke and resulted in the loss of six Rapalas worth approximately $60. After the repeated failures, I tested the line myself and found it breaking with surprisingly little force. I switched two rods back to leftover 6 lb Trilene from the previous year with no issues, and later replaced all six rods with new 8 lb Trilene, again with no issues.

What makes this experience especially disappointing is Berkley's response. I documented what happened, spent considerable time corresponding with customer service, and even made a separate trip back to Fleet Farm to obtain a reprinted receipt at Berkley's request. Despite my decades of loyalty to their product, Berkley refused to provide any consideration for the six lures lost as a result of the line failures.

I'm not someone who normally writes negative reviews, but after the failed line, approximately $60 in lost tackle, a negatively impacted family fishing weekend, and the frustrating customer-service experience that followed, I expected considerably more from Berkley.

After decades of trusting Trilene, this experience has seriously changed my opinion of both the product and the company standing behind it.

First time ordered from this website. When I received my ordered I realized that is not what I was looking for. Nothing wrong with the item just not what I needed. I reached out to customer service asking to return. They said sure no problem. We will send out a return label with in 24 hrs. Ten days later still no return label. I call back a second time asking for a return label. They tell me oh we don't know why the return label was not sent out. The representative said let me escalate this to my supervisor to ship it out to you and you will have it with in about 15 minutes. That was an hour before they close. I waited 45 minutes and called back as nothing was sent to me. They kept me on hold for 20 minutes since they already closed so I would hang up.

Will not be buying anything else from them.

I love this great company because they don't charge withdrawal fee or commission. I rate this company 100% because of their good work and trusting process

I phoned the company several times, and got a busy signal every time. I then emailed them with my question, and got no reply.
If you can't communicate with your customer, you have poor customer relations !
