Trundle bed disaster
The trundle bed I ordered was delivered on time, pleasant delivery personnel, but the 2 mattresses did not fit correctly (too deep). The Bensons shop arranged for the mattresses to be replaced. New mattresses arrived 3 weeks later but once again they were the wrong size and I am still awaiting delivery of replacements after ordering and paying for the trundle bed on 3 June. To add insult to injury Bensons said they were doing me a favour by not making delivery charges for the 1st replacement mattresses. Next delivery is scheduled for 18 August. I not a happy customer.

I haven't received my mattress yet so I can't comment on that. The salesmen were friendly and there was no pressure to buy. We were left alone to try the mattress which was helpful as talking to someone while lying on a mattress is distracting. As someone who likes to try before I buy I would recommend Bensons.

Fantastic experience
The assistant was courteous and polite - she asked if we wanted any help, but didn’t force herself on us.
She showed us a fantastic mattress, but remained just as helpful when told that it was way beyond our budget. She then proceeded to show us a variety of different ones that were in the right price range.
I’m a wheelchair user, and she was careful to make sure tgere was enough room for me to access different beds. She watched how I positioned the pillows on the first two beds, then put them in the right place on subsequent beds.
She wasn’t pushy and remained helpful throughout the whole process of completing the sale.
I would certainly return to this store.

The staff were friendly and helpful scammers
The staff appeared friendly and helpful but after receiving the bed I decided to check online and they sold me an ex display bed with tv at over £500 the online price for a new bed and tv. When I called them back to return the bed they said as it was an ex showroom its non returnable.
Absolute scammers!

Matthew was very helpful, wasn’t pushy &showed us different beds to make sure we picked the right one. Our last bed from Bensons beds in Preston lasted us 25 years. Happy customer.

Excellent assistance and guidance
Matthew, who assisted us in the store, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to answer our questions with ease and guided us towards a suitable purchase without applying pressure to buy.
He explained the purchase option and set our the process, including delivery and removal of the existing mattress, very clearly.

I think that the most important thing was that we didn't feel pressured at any time. Graham introduced himself and let us know that he was around if we had any questions and then he left us to it.
When we had finally made our choice, he couldn't have been more helpful and made the whole experience enjoyable rather than a chore.
