Don’t use beauty in Prague, recent surgery for breast uplift and implants, had issues and the clinic now isn’t responding after asking for all surgery paperwork.
Their care is less than adequate after surgery, left with non English speaking staff when going through recovery, no help when unable to do things yourself, your belongings get locked away from you, left without phone charger to contact partner, also states online you’re allowed visitors after your surgery - this isn’t the case they don’t allow anyone in to see you even when you’re asking for help.
Left back in uk with serious medical issues and they aren’t interested. Urged them to respond to all emails and calls but not getting anywhere, happy to take peoples money but not resolve any issues.
Do not use them!

Do not touch, I went for tummy tuck and tightning in Aug 2023, one year later I have difficulty breathing due to a paralysed left diaphragm (which was the case from the offset) all the tightening has come undone, i had a small bulge just under my breath which stitches rushed, my stomach is now in my chest lifting my right diapgram too. This is worsening by the day and risking my life

He has also not tighted my public area and I am left completely deformed unable to breathe and reqiring one weeks + stay in hospital to fix thei mess, and major surgery, slicing all the way down my stomach to fix.this will not fix my diaphragm. I am left with breathing issues for life, deformed, a year of not able to work, my funds all used to look deformed, and a solicitor instructed

I had decided to do a Lens Replacement Surgery a while back, but looking at prices in the UK, they were extremely expensive...making it impossible.

I started looking afield and came across Beauty In Prague. At first I sceptical as I wasn't sure about going to a different country to do the surgery.

I read plenty of reviews until I was satisfied that this was the right decision.

I can tell you, they make it very easy for you. You fell welcomed, protected and always well looked after. They speak English - Barbora and Petra - their patient coordinator was in contact with me all the time, coordinating the trip.

Their process is very organized and the treatment is quick and painless.

I would definitely recommend. Absolutely no regrets.

I've just returned home from Prague, i travelled on my own with out any problems.
booking the surgery was very simple a few emails and it was done, from getting off the plane to returning to the airport to leave and all the pick ups to and from clinic ran like clock work.
on the day of the surgery i was a bit nervous but there was no need its pain free just a bit of discomfort, i was in and out of the theatre within 30 minutes my vision was a bit misty and sensitive to light, i returned to my hotel and rested, later my vision had improved enough to go out for a meal.
the next morning i woke up and it was the first time i could see clearly in over 20 years it was amazing and is going to be life changing for me.
All the staff were excellent and i would like to thank Barbora for making the booking process very easy and Petra for looking after me while i was in Prague.
Traveling here on my own was not a problem and i got to see the beautiful city of Prague and managed to try a few of there wonderful beers.

I still can’t believe it is only 7 days since I had my surgery and lens replacement. This has been life changing for me and the best thing I ever did. I had worn reading glasses since age 16 and was at the point 40 years later needing to use two pairs of glasses and started to develop cataracts. I have no hesitation in recommending this service as one of the best value for money and efficiently run business I have experienced. From arrival in Prague everything went like clockwork with taxi collection and drop off and regular communication from Petra who coordinates everything. On the first day I have an extensive range of eye tests and came away with pages of a report. Due to my having a lazy eye (?!?) I was unable to have the lenses I wanted which was a disappointment - but I now couldn’t be happier with the result and proves to me that the consultant did have my needs at the forefront of their decision. The actual procedure went ok - not something I would want to undergo again - but it was painless and everything was explained to me as it went along. I walked straight out after the procedure - I could see easily but it was cloudy - by the afternoon I could see clearly distance and it took about two days to see close up / phone and print. The clinic is modern clean and everyone was professional and supportive. Yes you could spend the money on lots of things but if you are seriously considering a permanent solution to be glasses free then I could not recommend this service more highly. They ask for payment in cash - I know is seems odd but it is fine - finally a sincere thanks to Barbora, Petra and all the OCP team - I will always be grateful to you all.

I waited to write my review as it can take a year to see the results of my procedure and I wanted to make sure I got to see the final result before I wrote a review.

Overall, I had a great experience and got exactly what I paid for. The clinic was clean, the staff were professional and helpful, and the results were in line with my expectations. Almost everyone I met spoke a really high level of English, and all of my questions were answered with ease. I didn't feel worried about miscommunications at all.

The nurses who took care of me were really friendly and always came in to introduce themselves on shift changes. They were amazing and really kind. I'm scared of needles, and they were really accommodating of getting that process over and done with as quickly as possible.

Transfers from the hotel to the clinic after the procedure were really well organised, and reception staff were able to help me communicate with the hotel when there was a miscommunication about check in times. They really went above and beyond to help me.

I had a rhinoplasty and I am happy with the results. At around six months I was worried about some asymmetry so I contacted the clinic with my concerns. They got back to me quickly with some advice and reassurance - I continued with the massages I had been advised to use and the asymmetry resolved itself. There was just more scar tissue to break down on one side compared to the other.

I really liked that Dr. Kulhanek was realistic with the results that could be achieved. I didn't have a huge problem to fix and my rhinoplasty was fairly minor. He still took the time to ask what I was hoping for from the procedure and explain what realistic outcomes I could expect. Overall, I am really happy with the result because it is a natural looking result - but I would advise that if you are looking for something extreme or dramatic then maybe look elsewhere.

For the price I paid I feel like the staff went above and beyond. I met other British people in the waiting room and we've stayed in touch. There were patients of all ages and backgrounds, and it felt like everyone was comfortable. I would 100% recommend Beauty in Prague to anyone considering surgery.

The only thing I'll say that could be improved is that there was quite a lot of hanging around on the surgery day itself which could be nerve wracking for people prone to anxiety. After the consultation, blood tests, and the check up with the GP there was a very long wait for the actual procedure, and I remember thinking that patients could have been staggered throughout the day to prevent that. That isn't the end of the world though, and they probably have their reasons for doing it that way.

I contacted lots of clinics in Prague when searching for the right clinic to perform my lens exchange. This company was the most responsive to emails and queries, I never waited long. Barbora was always quick to respond and always with great detail. Petra was really helpful when organising airport transfers and transfers between my hotel and the clinic. The clinic itself is immaculate, the staff friendly and efficient. The process from start to finish was seamless and the results are amazing! No pain or discomfort and 20/20 vision within 24 hours.

Excellent treatment from start to finish. I highly recommend this clinic for your eye operation. I had replacement lens surgery and had trifocal lenses fitted. Everything went really well and I can throw all my glasses away at last.

I contacted Beauty In Prague in February after having been recommended them for eye lens replacement. Barbara who was my contact there was fantastic. She was very informative, kept me update on details and replied to my many questions I had and kept me reassured at all times. When I travelled to Prague on the 21/04/25 with my husband the service I received was professional and ran like clock work.
Petra at the eye centre was my coordinator and with her speaking English it made it easier with the language barrier so I felt at ease. She organised all the taxi’s to and from the clinic as well as the airport and she is also someone who keeps you informed and answers your questions…..to which I have given her many 😅 She is a lovely person and having her at the clinic really does put you at ease.
I had the pre-op tests done on the Monday which gave us a free day on the Tuesday which was a bonus. Prague is such a beautiful city.
On Wednesday, the day of the surgery, everything ran smoothly. I had the Trifocal lenses and the surgery was performed by the wonderful surgeon Dr Pasta. He was so reassuring and the nurses that I really felt quite calm. His skills are first class. The team of workers there are all professional, kind and they really do make you feel safe in the knowledge that they are experts in this field.
I had post op checks on the Thursday and the doctor was very reassuring, again answering my many questions.
I would highly recommend Beauty In Prague for eye lens replacement. I never thought I would have the courage to undergo such surgery but because of the amazing 🤩 team I am now glasses independent which is fantastic.

Had successful trifocal lens replacement this week at Beauty in Prague, cost was less than half quoted in UK. Communication via email with Barbora from my first inquiry was excellent, care from all staff was first class, thanks to Petra and Angelika for arranging transport for all appointments. After the age of 40 my eyesight began to gradually deteriorate due to Presbyopia. After researching numerous company providers, I decided to have Lens Replacement Surgery with Beauty in Prague.
The initial clinic correspondence, positive feedback/reviews and affordable cost confirmed my decision.
From the first email I sent to Beauty in Prague to my final flight home, it was all a seamless and efficient experience.
My excellent coordinator Petra arranged all my free airport/ clinic visit transfers like clockwork and was available by phone to answer any questions/concerns I had.
I arrived in Prague Sunday evening from Ireland.
Upon arrival at the clinic on the Monday morning I was greeted by Petra. The clinic is a state of the art modern facility specialising in Ophthalmology. The process began with a thorough eye examination, followed by a detailed evaluation/consultation with ophthalmologist, Dr Novotna, who advised I was suitable for Lens Replacement Surgery.
Tuesday was a rest/relax day were I took in the sites of the beautiful city of Prague.
On Wednesday, surgery day, I had both eyes painlessly completed in around 20 minutes by Doc. MUDr. Jiří Pašta, an extremely competent, experienced and proficient eye surgeon.
Thursday I had my brief post op assessment and received the amazing news of being completely prescription free! I was given numerous eye drops with detailed instructions to ensure proper healing over the coming weeks. My time with Beauty in Prague was complete.
I travelled home on the Friday completely glasses free.
In short, the whole experience was fantastic and given the choice of having this procedure completed in the UK or with Beauty in Prague regardless of price, I would hands down choose the latter!!

Brilliant service from Beauty in Prague. Had my lens replacement in October 2023 and I have to say I’m over the moon with the results. My eyes were pretty good before going but I struggled with reading. My mid to long distance vision was quite good so I had to go for the tri-focal lense. I was obviously concerned (as its eye surgery) and was going on my own but the treatment I got was first class and not just the actual treatment but the airport and hotel pick ups and drop offs. Honestly, BIP don’t offer the surgery on a whim. If it can’t be done it won’t be done, and if it is it’s a fraction of the UK cost.

Had Lens replacement yesterday my vision is perfect! 41 years with glasses and now glasses free. Beyond expectations, excellent communication, transport sorted from arriving at airport to leaving Prague. Saved thousands from doing this is the UK. Excellent team.

My eyesight had been deteriorating for over a year with increasing cataract formation. When my optician informed me that the NHS waiting time in my area was about 2 years, I set about to explore the options. Eyesight is precious and my first priority was to find the right centre of excellence to help resolve my problem. After a lot of research, I learned that the Czech Republic had an International reputation for advances in Ophthalmology. Through ‘Beauty in Prague’ I was directed to the lens replacement surgery service offered by the ‘Ocni Centrum Prague’ (OCP). This is a premier eye clinic, located in a new purpose-built centre, equipped with modern, state of the art equipment and well-staffed.
Email communication with Barbora of ‘Beauty in Prague’ was both helpful and very informative so, with some apprehension, I decided that this was the route which I would take. (I also found other reviews helpful and reassuring). I was given an approximate schedule for the entire process. On arrival at the airport a taxi had been sent to take me to my hotel. The patient co-ordinators (Tereza, Petra and Jan) were excellent and made sure that everything went as smoothly as possible. A taxi was sent to collect me for the first consultation. This was a thorough eye examination in which all the relevant measurements were taken to determine the optimum corrective procedure. The data were discussed with the ophthalmologist and, in my case, we decided that trifocal lens replacements in each eye was the best course of treatment. The custom made German lenses were ordered and in 2 days I was collected to undergo surgery. The eye surgeon, Dr Jiri Pasta, is an eminent specialist in this field with decades of experience and expertise. He was skilful and professional and reassured me at every step of the procedure. He was a perfect Gentleman! The process, about 15-20 minutes for each eye, was pain-free, though naturally some discomfort was unavoidable. I had vision immediately post-surgery, but found wearing sunglasses most helpful until later in the evening. Antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drops were provided.
The next morning a further, careful eye examination was carried out to ensure all was well. The service and care which I received throughout were outstanding. I have nothing but praise for the whole team. For me, the clinical process was the priority; the fact that the price was about half of the average in the UK was like the icing on the cake. If you are apprehensive, uncertain, or hesitant, about treatment in the OCP Prague, take it from me – don’t be! I have absolutely no regrets. I heartily recommend the entire team. I even had time to enjoy visiting the City’s historic sights. Outcome exceeded expectation and I am delighted to say that I have been able to write this review without the aid of spectacles. A big thank you to all at Prague!

In November 2023 after extensive research filled in online forms and was contacted by BIP who passed my details to the surgeon Dr Kulhanek
I was reassured the surgeon was good surgeon & that the facilities were top class. They also included videos of testimonies.
I arrived in Prague the day before my surgery & was not very confident with continuing with the procedure as the weekend before I had gone to dinner with my family and was burnt on the lip, something that was looking as if it was becoming a cold-sore.
As such I emailed the BIP several times that I would like to cancel or reschedule due to my reservations. I also made several attempts at contacting the clinic directly, without success as my texts and calls were not getting through. Eventually I opted to attend the clinic & speak to the surgeon myself.
My consult with the Surgeon, Dr Kulhanek lasted all of 6 minutes & upon voicing concerns he concluded it is quite possibly simply a burn and stress. I was exhausted but the surgeon was very convincing and reassuring so I agreed to go through with the procedure.
After the consult the receptionist approached me & told me that the surgeon had indicated for a neck lift too, but that I had not been billed for it. I motioned to the email sent which stated the platysmas muscle was included in the price quoted in Nov, but they made it look like it was a misunderstanding, as if the people who booked the procedures ( BIP ) perhaps had not understood. Under the duress and stress involved I had no other choice that to forfeit another 1100 GBP.
As the day progressed, I was ushered into the surgical rooms & realised no-one spoke English.

What happened next belongs in the pages of a horror movie.

When I woke up I was completely naked and shaking, it took a good while for someone to provide some dignity in the form of a small frayed duvet and later on an electric blanket.
No-one spoke English & I was just flopped on a bed until someone came to take a look at me & raise the head.
During the evening I began to bleed profusely. The nurses changed my bedding several times, but it was evident there was a medical incident at hand & the sheets & pillows where being soaked with blood. I asked to see a doctor but was told that they had all gone home. Eventually the bleeding was so extreme they called the surgeon at home. This was approximately 1am or thereabouts on the 9th of January 2024.

Instead of offering me medical assistance the surgeon instructed the nurse to stem the bleeding by compressing as hard as possible using multiple compresses.
The nurse proceeded to bind my head & neck so tightly that I choked to the point I vomited, I still have the scars from the ligature that was created & that eventually acted as a garrotte that nearly choked me. The ligature was so tight it popped blood vessels in my eyes & turned my cheek black. The bleeding was still severe & instead of calling for more help, they simply bound my head even further. I spent the whole night in fear of loosing my life, holding the bandages on my head tightly in an attempt to stump the bleeding. The bleeding was so extreme, blood running like a tap down both my shoulders.
In the morning the surgeon came & cut the dressings with scissors, also cutting half my hair off and laughing whilst he did so. At no point was there mention of a ‘Drain’ as is expected in procedures like this, & when mentioned to the surgeon he stated that he does not follow this protocol.
The day progressed the heavy bleeding stopped. Later, as expected the blood started to pool into my head and neck, the pressure was absolutely insufferable, but after a day of observations they discharged me to my hotel room.
On 12th of January I personally attended the clinic without appointment worried about the amount of blood pooling in my neck. I also requested another compression garment as mine was saturated with blood. I was informed that there was no surgeon on Fridays & to simply wash the old one.
Subsequently the back of my neck began to extremely swell up & I attempted to contact the clinic on the numbers provided, again unsuccessfully, so I tried to contact the clinic via mail explaining my predicament.
Eventually the swelling was so server it was blocking my airways & I was dispatched to the AE dept of Hospital Na Františku Prague. Here they took images of the extent of damage that had been done.In hospital they drained the haematomas,& eventually they placed drains. They also made an attempt to admit me for observations as by this time my blood levels indicated I was anaemic from the extensive blood loss.
When I did managed to make my way back to the clinic Dr Kulhanek prematurely remove the emergency drains, resulting in further complications even 3 weeks later.
There has been no support & no assistance from these people& I fear one day someone will loose their life.

Best decision I’ve ever made, did loads of research about having lens replacement and because of it’s excellent reviews and initial communication I opted for surgery in Prague, so glad I did and saved a fortune!
Now settled home after my trip to Prague, I have come round as it all felt a bit surreal!
What can I say so far I am absolutely amazed by the results!
I can’t thank you all enough, honestly the communication was fantastic with all the initial planning, then the transfers and being greeted by the lovely Tereza, who was always on hand and kept me updated with every single aspect of my treatment, great clinic which is immaculate, the staff are always sanitising equipment and washing/gelling their hands which again reassured me about standards, this place is a brand new state of the art optical centre, each and every staff member I met was so kind and reassuring, I am so glad I made the decision to go to Prague, definitely recommend to family and friends wish I’d of done it years ago! don’t know what I was worried about! I couldn’t even feel a thing during surgery the worse bit was the eye clamp! again massive thank you to George the surgeon and his team for putting me at ease, then for explaining everything in detail about the recovery process, I hope to visit Prague again as it’s a beautiful city, but honestly again thank you to each and everyone of you for giving me my sight back with no more glasses 💞🫶💕💞🫶💕💞🫶💕

In November 23 I had lower eye bag removal surgery.
I done all my research via then web and found Beauty in Prague . I read all reviews on trust pilot and believed that this was the best beauty clinic to do this surgery the pricing was more affordable compared to the UK.
I completed a medical questionnaire and took a photograph of both eyes. These pictures were reviewed by surgeon who would decide if you are able to have the surgery. I was contacted a week later to say that I was and was told who would carry out the surgery if I decide to go ahead. I paid a deposit then I was asked about my accommodation choices and flight details. All pre-op matters dealt with excellently. Day before surgery I arrived in Prague and was picked up as advised I would and taken to my choice of hotel [colour factory). I read through the information provided regarding pre-op and what to expect on day of surgery and after. I was advised not to eat or drink before surgery so didn’t. On the day of surgery I was picked up at 10Am and taken to clinic. I was meet by a receptionists and asked to fill in forms and asked if eaten, I said I hadn’t she told me I should off and gave me a biscuit and cup of tea. A picture of my eyes was taken. I was then taken to surgeon for 10 min. Chat. Told surgery would be done under local anaesthetic which did concern me. According to information provided I believed I would be having blood tests etc, and that the surgery wouldn’t be until pm, however, after chat with surgeon I was taken up to op. Room asked to change and on surgery table at 11.am The surgery was performed by surgeon who had 2 nurses assisting. The local anaesthetic was first injected into right eye which didn’t hurt, surgery commenced. Although eyes open I didn’t experience any pain. Then on to left eye, again local anaesthetic injected, surgery commenced but I did fill some pain, surgeon apologised stating a nerve by the fat and that he would be done in a minute. He was true to his words. The surgery was completed by 11.50am I was told to get dressed and I was then taken back to my hotel by cab by 12.10pm. The receptionist prior to surgery gave me a bag explaining the contents, which was tablets for pain relief and cold compression and eye drops she told me what to do and how often.
My only issue regarding my surgery is there was No after care as stated there would be only a card with an emergency number if needed.
I recommend that you ask the clinic exactly what to expect with regards to your chosen surgery as the information provided covers all types of surgery not just yours.
I stayed in Prague for 8 days as on the 7th day stitches would be removed. Please note there is no info provided by clinic about the removal process so I rang clinic the day before to find out. I was told that I would need to take off the dressing protecting the stitches and grease as she (receptionist) wouldn’t have time too on the day! I put Vaseline on both stitches using cotton wool bud and went off to clinic to have removed. The removal didn’t hurt as a result of greasing.
I am writing this 2 months later but not exactly happy with results as still have some puffiness under right eye. I have had no follow up from clinic. Although an affordable option I would consider the aftercare as non provided.
