On the order email I was told my order…
Very disappointed and confused. Bad customer service and communication with customer.
On the order email I was told my order would be available for pick up on Wednesday. Knowing my car wouldn’t be able to carry the weight of the tiles, on the day of pick up, I purchased a hire trailer and drove an hour to pick it up.
Upon calling, I was told they didn’t even know my order had been submitted. And that the order was not ready nor will it be until Friday.
This was extremely disappointing as not only was I now out of pocket the cost of the hire trailer, the cost of fuel to get to Mackay but also Friday was the day we had organised for friends/contractors to come help us complete the job.
I am a school teacher so only have the short space of time in which school holidays provides to get both the tiling done and then rearrange the house. I talked to the Beaumont representative and let them know my situation. I was not offered any apology or discount for the inconvenience and when I asked about the possibility of getting a delivery I was only told the price would remain the same at $300+.
Even just an acknowledgement of their miscommunication would have been nice…

I enjoyed my visits to Beaumont Tiles Mackay, staff are helpful and friendly. The only hitch was having to pay freight on a small order I had already paid for on another date. Would have been good to get a heads up about the freight charge when I was paying for them at the time.
